Chapter 8 Look out

Laven pushed his way through the group of pirates as they all gathered to look at something across the ocean. "Look! Look! We're finally here!" One of the pirates shouted.

Laven stood on his tippy toes to get a better look, and to his shock and amaze it was a village that was surrounded by a tall and beautiful mountainous range. The sky resembled rainbow colors and swirled above the mountains.

It was truly a beautiful sight to see. "Woah!" Laven blurted out. The other pirates looked at him and laughed at his reaction. Suddenly Captain Sea grabbed him and placed him on his broad shoulders so Laven could see better.

"It's a wonderful sight isn't it Laven?" Laven shook his head. The Captain laughed and set Laven back down on the ground and walked away to the room where the strange alligator creature was being nursed back to health. Laven followed the Captain to see how the alligator was doing.

Jay, the Captains most respected, strongest and smartest crew member from the Caribbean islands, was taking care of the young alligator and checking on him every single day to make sure he was alright. The young alligator man was suffering from some type of head injury and had fractured bones in his legs and feet. Jay wasn't sure if he was ever going to walk again from the severity of his injuries but Jay did his best to make sure he wakes up healthy.

While Jay was nursing the alligator, Laven busted through the door and walked towards the new patient's bed to observe him. "What are you doing! You're not supposed to be in here!" Laven ignored Jay's panicking and examined the alligators injuries and features.

The alligator man had a red bruise on his forehead and wore an eyepatch just like the stereotypical pirate. His hair was green just like most alligator creatures and had a strong jawline with weird green scales and pale white skin.

From what Laven heard from other crew members, most Ali creatures from the Ali tribe were mostly Tan or had light brown skin, this Ali had pale skin and very pale skin at that, which was strange to Laven and other crew members. Besides that, Laven was intrigued by the alligator creature since he's never really seen someone who looked so strange before, besides himself of course.
