Luna

This academic stress was too much for me, I was hardly getting any time to breath. Catching up with assignments. Attending a few classes, working on a paper and internship, and upcoming exams, everything is draining me out. I was trying to enjoy everything but I couldn't. I needed some good rest and a break but one good thing happens whenever I visit the clinic, for the internship, looking at the pets lifts me up.

"Luna, can you check how many appointments are left?" I nodded, I went to the table and checked how many appointments were left. While checking I saw Kkuma's name, if I remember clearly, I specifically asked which time would be better for Kkuma and him. Wonder if he would actually show up, but I was wondering about Kkuma.

"We don't have a lot of appointments today Maple, it's hardly 13, guess you can rest up today a bit and after my shift is over I need to go and visit my university"
"You need to submit something?" she looked at me and I nodded, "sadly yes, I need to submit one assignment and talk to my mentor today who would be helping me with my paper this semester"

"Good luck Luna!" I smiled at her "thank you so much~"

I turned back my focus on the monitor, I was web surfing and then I heard the door open. I turned my head to see who it is, and I saw Kkuma. A smile formed on my face automatically after I looked at Kkuma, she got the power of making me smile.

Then my eyes went to the owner who was holding Kkuma, he walked towards me. "Good morning" he smiled at me, "Good morning" he looked different today; he looked happy, was it because of Kkuma? I think yes. Kkuma looks happy as well.

"Today we have an appointment" he smiled, his smile looked beautiful on him, he looked endearing.
"Yes, I know because I was the one who set your appointment" I gave him a small smile.

"How are you?" I asked lowering my gaze to Kkuma's level, she looked adorable and healthy today. I patted her head, and she was wagging her tail. I had this sudden urge to take her in my arms, I heard a small laugh and looked up. He settled his facial expression, and tried to look calm and relaxed as if he wasn't laughing a second ago. "I wasn't laughing at you, really"

I turned to look at Kkuma and patted her once again "it's just made me smile the way you are with Kkuma and how happy Kkuma looks" anyone would think he could be a good flirt because the way he just said those words as if they didn't mean anything at all. Rather I felt a warm feeling settling inside my chest. And before I could get any further with this, I called Maple "Maple, please do a check-up"
"Coming!"

"Take her to Maple, she'll check her up today"
"You won't?" his voice sounded a bit different... I couldn't figure out why "I won't because Maple is here and I need to leave for my classes." I looked at Kkuma for the last time before he could take her inside that room, "Bye Kkuma, see you next time" and gave a quick kiss to Kkuma. "Bye," I went back to gather my stuff.

I saw him, going to that room with Kkuma, and once he entered, I checked my tote bag. I called Maple because I was leaving. "Maple! I'm leaving"
"Okay, have a nice day"

"You too" I gave a smile hoping she could feel it, I wanted to stay today but meeting with my professor was more important. I'm lucky how Maple and others understand me in these situations.

I took my bag and came out of the clinic.

I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I wanted to recollect everything for a second and then go to my university.

How life was getting tiring with academics but books and coming here helped me to calm down a lot. I'm glad I'm doing something I like because sometimes it makes me anxious thinking how would thing take a turn in the future and how am I going to complete everything then I start focusing on my present because being in present is the thing that makes me less anxious. This internship is for five months and this is my second month. I'm actually happy because of this and the people around me.

Meeting new people is tiring but sometimes looking at those who are so concerned about their little ones, makes me go at peace. I wish...

I opened my eyes and took another deep breath, "You got this!" I said to myself and started walking to the bus station.

How are you all doing? I'm back. I am back home for a small break and here I am, well I missed writing and time management was really very bad in uni, but since I'm back I'm going to try to update frequently, thankyou for waiting and reading
