Jeffery took me down into his base. He put me in the jail cell.

"What are you going to do about time?" I asked in a mad voice. My eyes turned darker red.

"I just un-freezed it." Jeffery said. I groaned.

"Are you hungry? I'm going to make you dinner." Said Jeffery. I didn't say anything. As soon as he left I sang Safe and Sound. I sang it when I was sad to remind me of Laurence.

When I finished, Jeffery came rushing into the room.

"WOW (Y/N)! You have the voice of an angle." He said. I remembered the day Laurence said that to me when I sang this song. I started to cry.

"I-I've been told that before." I told him. My eyes turned Dark Blue.

"Ugh! By who? That boy you were marrying? I wonder why you married him and not me! He looks stupid." He said.

"DON'T YOU DARE JOKE ABOUT HIM!" I yelled.

"Whoa Whoa! Calm down horsey. All will be fine. I didn't mean it! Now, I need to get back to cooking." He said. Then he pushed me down and I fell lightly. I started crying more.

"Laurence...Laurence help. I need you." I said to myself. Then I sang again.

I finished singing. Jeffery looked very surprised by my singing voice.

"H-How do you sing like that?" He asked.

"No idea..." I responded. "And I wasn't singing for you. I was singing for...Laurence. Even though he's not here!" I said. Jeffery turned around.

"Dang it!" He said quietly.

"What was that?" I asked.

"Nothing, also, one question, why did you want to marry Laurence and not me?" He asked. I looked up at him.

"Well, he's sweet and kind. And he's very protective and smart. And he's very handsome." I said gazing off.

"B-But I can be those things!" He said. I sighed and face palmed.

"You must be very desperate...go find another girl." I said.

"What? But your my one and only! Oh! By the way, here is your food." He said. He handed me a bowl of salad.

"And I could be eating cake." I said pushing away my food and crossing my arms. "No, don't love someone based off looks! You have got to love them by who they are." I told him. I can't believe i'm giving this guy advise. I thought.
