Y/n POV
After my shower I grab my axe and sword and leave the tower. I didn't see Laurance in the tower so I knew he was outside somewhere. I didn't want to even see his face after what happened. I walk over to the gates and tell Bryan I would be back soon. I leave the village and head towards some birch trees.
Time skip :3
About an hour later I finally have enough wood to build a house. I was let back inside Phoenix Drop. I was going to look around for a good place to build it until I saw Laurance. Tears came back to my eyes. No! I can't cry over him. I knew I shouldn't have fallen for him, for a player. I tried to avoid him but he he came up behind me.
"Hey! Hadn't seen you all day. Where have you been?" He asked. I tried to walk faster but he kept up.
"None of your business," I grumble.
"Y/n, what's wrong?" He asked me. I didn't want to tell him or I might burst out in tears. I couldn't have him see me like that. After a minute or so of not saying anything he grabbed my arm and tried to turn me around. I wouldn't budge. Soon enough he pinned me to the wall.
"Are you going to tell me what is wrong? Or I am going to have to make you?" He asked not very patiently. I turned my face away. I could feel the tears building up in my eyes.
"WHY DON'T YOU ASK THE CAT GIRL WITH PURPLE HAIR, HUH?" I shouted and burst into tears. I thought I could get away from his grasp but I was wrong. He kept me to the wall and looked at me.
"Y/n! That was Michi! We had a problem with her in the past! She knocked out Aph, Katelyn, and I and sold us to a werewolf kingdom. I was almost killed and Aphmau almost had to marry a prince. She is evil and she always had some stupid crush on me. She kissed me." He explained to me.
"So....you....don't....like....her?" I asked in between sniffles.
"Of course not. I like you." He said. I felt a weight being lifted off me.
"Okay. I like you too," I replied.
Laurance's POV
Those words stuck in my head. I like you too. Wow she really did like me. I smiled at her and let her go. I felt bad for having her go through that. I swear when I get my hands on Michi! Suddenly Garroth came up behind me.
"What was that about?" He wondered.
"Yesterday Michi kissed me and Y/n saw. She thought I kissed her and I cleared things up." I replied.
"Oh. Is she okay now?" He asked.
"Yeah I think so. But she said that she likes me," I told Garroth. He looked at me in astonishment.
"I didn't think she would like anyone." He said jokingly.
"Yeah," I said, walking off.
Y/n POV
I decided that I wasn't going to build my own house. I ran into Aphmau and told her that.
"Oh that's fine! Whatever you are comfortable with!" She said with a happy tone, as usual. I nodded at her and went to go pick out a house. I found one close to the guard tower, but still gave me some room from the guys. It wasn't in the group of 4 identical houses, it was more off by itself.(Nicole's old house) It was pretty nice. It even had a basement. I put my bedroom in the basement. After I was all done I went to the guard tower for my clothes and such.
   I arrived in my old room and gathered my things. As I was leaving I saw Laurance.
   "Hey, moving out I see." He said.
   "Yeah. I mean I like living with you guys but I kind of wanted my own house and stuff," I explained.
   "Ah. I see. Say, do you want to hang out later?" He asked me. Did he mean date or hanging out? I put my question aside and agreed.
   "So does 7ish sound okay?"
   "Sounds great." I told him, walking away. As I was walking towards the ladder, Garroth came up.
   "Hey Garr-" I managed to trip over my own feet and fall. I thought I was going to hit the floor when someone caught me. I look up to see a blushing Garroth. I stand back up and wave to the boys, going down the ladder. Laurance seemed a little mad. Is he jealous?
Laurance's POV
   Y/n waved to us as she left. Garroth noticed my anger and laughed.
   "Jealous?" He asked
   "Pfft, no. I don't get jealous." I told him. To be honest I was jealous. I mean, Y/n falls and Mr. Prince over here catches her. I guess I shouldn't be angry. She would have hit the floor of he hadn't caught her. I just wish I was the one who stopped her from falling. I went into my room and got really bored. I was going to read but most the books Emmalyn had were all on Lady Irene. I just wanted a fiction book, not some history book on a goddess. I pick up one of my personal books, The Hungry Games. I've read this book so many times but I didn't care, it was a great book.
Time skip!!!
   I didn't realize it, but 3 hours had passed. It was 6:35. Oh no I have only 25 minutes before I go out with Y/n! I rush and put on some jeans and a forest green hoodie. I comb through my hair and sheath my sword. I always take my sword with me no matter what. I would rather have it on me than get killed without any way of defense. I had 5 minutes to get to Y/n's house. I slide down the ladder and jog down to her house. Nice. Right on time. I knocked on her door.
