Y/n POV
Laurance had to go on patrol so I walked back to the tree house by myself. When I got up I found Aphmau sitting on a bed, waiting for me to get back.
"What was that about?" She asked me. I felt kind of bad cause I just rushed out.
"Oh yeah, sorry about that. I just didn't want anyone to recognize me or something," I told her while grabbing some cooked chicken.
"Oh. Why did it take so long?Knowing you, you ran so it should have only taken you a few minutes, not 15,"
"Umm..." I didn't know what to say. If I told her about my run in with Laurance she would fan girl. I couldn't think of a good excuse so I just kept quiet.
"Oooo~ did you see Laurance?" She got me.
"Maybe," I could tell my cheeks were heating up. Why? I mean he is a great guy but he would never like me back. Right? I got lost in my thoughts but came back to reality when Aphmau asked me her question again.
"Earth to Y/n. Do you like him or what?" She asked me.
"Well, I don't know. He is sweet but he probably won't like me back,"
"Oooooooo~ you have a crush~," she sang.
"Huh? What, no! I mean sure, his blue eyes are like the ocean and so easy to get lost in, and his hair is the color of light caramel, and his voice is as calming as the wind rustling through leaves on a breezy day..." I continued to think about him, gently smiling.
"Listen, Y/n. I can tell he likes you too. Give him a chance, okay?" She told me. I was still daydreaming about him as she left. I put the cooked chicken in my f/c bag and slung it over my shoulders. I realized that I also forgot my sword. It was on obsidian broadsword(If you don't want it to be that then just change it).
   I walked back to my room and went inside, closing the door behind me. I looked around and saw a bag on my bed with a note that read
"Dear Y/n, I brought you some more clothes so you wouldn't have to wear that dress all the time. Even though it is great!"    -Cadenza
   I looked inside the bag and found a LOT of clothes in it. I decided to change into one of the outfits. I slipped off my dress and dug out a pair of light jeans and a f/c sweater. It was getting colder out so why not. Suddenly someone came into my room.
   "Hey Y/n- OH MY IRENE I AM SO SORRY!" Followed with the door slamming. I noticed that I was just in a bra and underwear and that person was Laurance. My cheeks were a dark crimson. I put on the clothes and walked out to see Laurance also blushing.
   "Umm sorry about that. I should have knocked..." He told me.
   "It's fine. It's just like seeing me in a swimming suit. Plus it was only you," He smirked when I said that.
   "What's that supposed to mean? Falling in love with me?" He asked jokingly. I giggled and punched him lightly in the arm. I went back into my room and grabbed my sword, sheathing it. I also put back on my hood but I kept it down because I was just around Laurance.
"You know you look beautiful without your hood," he said to me when I came back out. I blushed a little bit more.
"Thank you," I replied. "I'll see you around," I told him. I wanted to go sit in a tree again and think about things.
   "Okay. See ya," he smiled.
   I left the tower and walked out near the gates. I climbed up a tree and sat down. I always found something calming about sitting on trees. Like being with nature or something. Off in the distance I heard arguing. Not again. Whenever I sit in a tree I hear things I'm not suppose to. This time it wasn't Dante and Nicole. It was someone at the gates. My curiosity got the best of me and I stood up to see who it was. White Rain guards.
   "WHERE IS PRINCESS Y/N?!" They demanded.
   "I do not know. Let me go get Lord Aphmau," Brian said running off, leaving Dale with the guards. There were 3 guards. None whom I recognized. Soon enough Aphmau and Laurance came running towards the gates.
   "We need the princess!" The guards told them. I saw Aphmau and Laurance whisper something and he had a pleading look on his face.
   "The princess was here, yes. But she ran away. We were told she was going to the Tu'la Region to start a new life. We tried to take her back to White Rain as soon as we found out," Lady Aphmau told them with a serious look on her face.
   "Since you are sure she is not here, would you mind if we look around, to make sure you are not lying?" The head guard asked.
   "Of course," Aphmau's stern look had changed to a look of fear and seriousness mixed. I knew I had to stay up here until the guards left town. I had no clue how long that would take. I looked in my bag and saw that I had about 20 cooked chicken. That should last me a while.
Aphmau's POV
   I was worried for Y/n. I had no clue where she was so I couldn't tell her to hide. Laurance told me she had left the guard tower with her bag and sword. I told Laurance to get anything of hers out of her room, incase they were to look there. As the people from White Rain looked around I told Garroth to tell everyone that Y/n isn't here. I just hope she is safe.
Y/n POV
   I fell asleep in the tree and woke up in the early morning, the sun was just coming up. I looked around and saw the people from my home town coming towards the gates. I assumed they were leaving. Followed by then was Aphmau and Garroth.
   "Thank you for the information on
Y/n. We will keep in contact incase you find anything else out," the guard said to Aphmau.
   "Yes, of course," she replied. The people left the gates and headed back to my home village. I'm glad they didn't stay too long. But what worried me was I left my original cloak in my room and my bag of clothes. Aphmau and Garroth went back into the village when the gate closed.
