I was about to leave but Laurance caught my arm.
  "Wait. Y/n, I love you." Laurance pulled me into a passionate kiss. After a bit we pulled away.
  "I love you too but I believe this isn't goodbye. More of, until next time." I smiled at him. He smiled back. I grabbed my sword and ran out the door, Laurance on my heels.
  We soon found Aphmau. She looked panicked.
  "You okay, Aph?" I said after I got to her.
  "It's O'khasis..." She trailed off. "And we don't know where Zane is." She finished.
  "We'll find him. We'll bring him to the jail too." I told her. I grabbed Laurance's hand and we ran to the gate. Something just felt right about this, though. I turned to him and smiled. He smiled back.
  I ran around the edge of the wall and into the forest. There he was, snickering while leaning against a tree.
  "Look what we have here." He pushed himself off the tree.
"Great. You saved us the effort of looking for you." I replied. He just chuckled.
  "Now let's just make this nice and easy. Come with us and you might not die." I told him. I knew it was a futile attempt to take him to the jail, but it was worth a shot.
  "Hahahahah! You think I'm just going to come with you?!" He laughed some more. I was starting to get angry. "How about you come with me? I would love to take you back to White Rain." That pushed me over the line.
  I felt my body lift from the ground. Wings grew from my back. A devilish grin tugged on my lips. I held my creepy sword instead of my normal one. I knew my eyes were pitch black, even though I couldn't see them.
  "I don't think that's going to happen today." I said. My voice was deeper. Laurance seemed freaked out but he seemed to have gotten over it. Zane laughed like a mad man and transformed into a weird being. His eyes were pitch black and he had black ender sparkles coming from him. He held that black sword from my 'dream'. The thought of it sent chills up my spine.
He charged at me. As fast as he did in my 'dream'. I knew he was going to though, so I deflected him with ease. I let out a laugh.
"Your attacks are futile against me." I said.
  "I'm just getting started." He retorted.
  He pushed sword against mine. He was strong, too strong for me. I could barely hold him back so instead, I kicked him as hard as I could in him stomach. He was sent back and hit a tree. Zane groaned in pain but he still got up. He ran at me again, this time I was less fortunate. He cut a deep gash in my arm. Black blood oozed out of it. I yelled in pain but it was only my non dominant arm so I was okay for now. I gritted my teeth and flew towards him, cutting his arm. His arm started to glow purple where I cut him. My sword must have been poisonous. I snickered at his pain.
  "WHAT IS THIS?!" He yelled.
  "Funny thing is, I have no clue." I told him.
  "F-fine. I know how to hurt you the most." He snickered.
  He ran at Laurance. It seemed like time had slowed down. No. I can't let this happen. Not again. I ran in front of Laurance. I didn't have time to deflect Zane's hit though. His sword went through my stomach. I could hardly breath. I gasped for air like a fish out of water. I fell to the ground.
"ZANE!" Laurance shouted, his voice dripping with venom. I turned my head to see Zane was no longer there.
Laurance dropped to his knees. He took off his shirt and tried to stop the bleeding from my wound. Little did he know it was pointless. I felt the black blood draining from my body. I was in excruciating pain. My vision started to blur.
"Y/N! STAY WITH ME. HELP! SOMEBODY HELP! PLEASE!" His voice was fading.
"Laurance, I love you." I croaked. He looked me in the eyes. Worry was written all over his face.
"I love you too. But this isn't goodbye. It can't be." He said. I felt myself change back into my normal state. The world was fading. This is just sleep. I'm not going to die. Everything went black.

  I was in a black room. I looked around for a spot of light but didn't find any. I looked down at myself and I was completely visible. Weird. There isn't light but I can see myself perfectly. I was no longer in my armor. I was in my normal clothes.
  I looked up and saw a woman with blonde hair just below her chin. She had forest green eyes with flecks of orange in them. She was wearing black glasses with mint accents. She had on jean shorts and a black shirt that had a dinosaur on it.
  "Where am I?" I asked. I didn't care who she was at the time, I just wanted to know what the heck was going on.
"Your father would like to see you." She replied.
"Okay what's going on?" I asked.
"Is your time." Is what she said. My time? Father? Am I..... Dead?
"May I ask, who are you?"
"I'm responsible for everything that happens in this world. I made the events of the world as they are. I did not creat the people though. A woman by the name of Jess did. Well, not you. I created you. From your h/c hair down to your pinky toes. You were my favorite of course. I wanted to give you a perfect life but alas, I knew I could not. Nobody has a perfect life. Not even me. You would have stayed in the world longer but your father wanted you home. But no one here calls me by my name. Instead, call me Author~Chan."
Author~Chan? What is that suppose to mean? What did she mean 'stayed in the world longer'? Am I really dead? I will ask that later I guess. "Kind of like Kawaii~Chan?"
"I guess so. Now, your father would like to see you. Please, follow me." We walked off and took many turns until we got to a room with a throne. A youngish looking man sat in it.
"I've been waiting for this moment." He said with a broad smile.
"Are you.....Death?" I asked. He chuckled.
"Why yes I am. I'm terribly sorry for having to bring you here so early but things were getting out of hand in Author~Chan's world. She can be very....creative....when it comes to these things." He explained.
"So this means I'm..." I trailed off. I didn't want to say it. I didn't even want to think about it.
"Yes." Death knew what I was talking about.
"Is there any way I could see what's going on in the world?" I needed to see Laurance on more time.
"Follow Author~Chan. She will bring you to her glass wall and you can see anything you would like." He replied. I nodded.
I followed Author~Chan to a room with a white glass wall. It was strange seeing it after lots of black. She did something and the screen lit up. It was when I had just passed.
Laurance's POV
Zane ran off into the forest somewhere. He's not going to get away with this. My throat hurt from screaming but soon Dante came to my side. He saw Y/n on the ground. He then noticed my tear stained cheeks.
"Did you check for a pulse?" He asked me. I nodded.
"S-she's dead." More tears fell from my eyes. I couldn't help it. She was the love of my life. I wanted to get married and have kids. I wanted to grow old together. But all of that was shattered by the hand of that evil man. I kept replaying the whole incident back in my head.
"We should get her back to the village." Dante said. I nodded again and get up. A picked up Y/n's lifeless body. I tried not to think about it on the way back.
Time skip!
  Someone knocked on my door. I didn't answer. I only wanted it to be Y/n. Aphmau came in some fruit. She set it down on my table.
  "Hey, Laurance. I brought some food." She said softly. I looked up. She sat down next to me because I was on my bed. "Today's the day of her funeral. Do you want to go?"
  "Let me get ready." I mumbled. Aphmau nodded and left. I wasn't sure if I could get ready. It was only last week when she died.
  I forced myself up and went to my closest. I put on a black dress shirt and black pants. I went over to the mirror and saw my face was red and puffy from crying. I didn't care at this point. I left mine Y/n's house and found Aphmau waiting for me. She was in a black and purple dress.
  "Let's go." She said solemnly. I followed her to the plaza.
  There was a f/c casket and chairs set up. I took a seat in the middle left of the array of chairs. People started to file in and and try to talk to me. I just brushed them off. I didn't want to talk to anyone. Only Y/n.
  The ceremony went on and I said my speech about how great she was. People kept saying sorry to me.
  After it was over, I went home and went into her room. I remembered all the good times we had with each other. The thoughts made me smile, the first smile since that day. The last time I had smiled was to Y/n. Just before she had died. A tear slipped off my cheek. No. I need to stay strong for her. That's what she would want.
Y/n's POV
  Tears rolled down my face. I could tell Laurance was hurting. I turned to Author~Chan.
  "Please. Make him get over my death and keep going on without me." I said.
  "I'll see what I can do." She replied. She took me back to Death.
  "Why?" I asked him, my voice breaking.
  "I'm sorry. I really am. But everyone dies at some point." He answered.
  More tears escaped my eyes. They just wouldn't stop coming. I sat down and cried into my knees.
  "I can't bear to see you like this. How about I take you to the future. You will have more contact with me and Author~Chan can make people exactly like your friends." Death said. I looked up.
  "I would like that." I sniffled. He smiled and I was transported somewhere. It was that world where I tried to kill Zane.
  I was under a tree and it was night. I have a house here don't I? I got up and looked around. I saw Laurance down the street.
  "LAURANCE!" I yelled. He looked at me and I ran towards him. As soon as I got to him I ran into his arms. He looked confused by hugged back.
  "Hey! Where've you been? It's been like four hours since you ran off." He said.
  "Umm. Places... I'll tell you later but can you take me to my house? I forgot where I live." I replied. He nodded and led me down some streets.
Time skip
  "Have a good night." I said, closing the door. I walked around until I found my bedroom. I open the door and crashed on the fluffy bed. I looked up at me ceiling. Well, this is gonna take some getting used to.

Also sorry I haven't published in a while, it's just cause this is super long and I put a lot of effort into it. But it is officially summer so I'll be updating on my other book.
