I woke up with my head on Laurance's chest. I smiled and looked up at his face. I tried to get up but he started to wake up. He noticed I was getting up and pulled me closer.
"Morning." He said, his voice raspy.
"Good morning~" I replied. He kissed my head and let me up. Laurance also got up but managed to trip over Maggie and fall on the floor. I walked over to him laughing so hard I almost fell over.
   "Are you...okay?" I said in between laughs. I offered my hand to help him up. Instead of getting up though, he pulled me down with him.
   "I am now." He said with a smirk. I rolled my eyes at this.
   All of a sudden his lips slammed into mine. I was shocked at first but I melted into the kiss. After a while I pulled away.
"You know we have actual things to do today." I said.
"Yeah... But this is better." He smirked. I rolled my eyes and got up. Laurance soon followed.
"We need to talk to Emmalyn today." I told him as I walked to the kitchen.
   "Oh yeah. I almost forgot about that." He replied. We ate some breakfast and left for Emmalyn's house.
   "Laurance, she has a note on her door." I said, jogging over to her house.
   "It says 'Hello! I'm not in Phoenix Drop at the moment. I went to Meteli to get some more books on Lady Irene. If you need a book, please bring it back.
-Emmalyn'" I told Laurance.
   "Great. Do you want to go to Meteli or should we just wait until she gets back?" He asked me. I was thinking about this when Aphmau came running up to us.
   "Hey guys! Listen I need to go to Meteli to see if they want to join the Phoenix Alliance. Do you guys want to come with?" She asked Laurance and I. I turned to Laurance.
   "Well I guess that's a sign to go." I say to him.
   "Heh yeah. Sure Aph, we'll go." He answered.
   "Great! We are going to be taking horses so meet by the stables in one hour." She told us. She then proceeded to run off to her house.
   "We should pack some stuff." I told Laurance. He agreed and we walked back to our house.
Time skip
   After Laurance and I were done packing we went to the stables to get our horses. I noticed Garroth, Cadenza, Travis, and Katelyn were all coming with us.
   I hooked my bag into H/n's saddle and got on him. Travis soon came up beside me with his horse.
   "Heeeey baby~" He said to me. I reached over and smacked his horse in the butt, making his horse launch forward. Travis was caught off guard and fell off. Katelyn came over and high fived me.
   "Okay guys! Let's go!" Aphmau called.
Another time skip
   Soon enough we arrived in Meteli. Aphmau and Garroth went to see Lord Hayden. Cadenza went off to catch up with her old friends and Katelyn came with her. Since Katelyn went with Cadenza, so did Travis. This left Laurance and I to find Emmalyn. We of course, went to the library first but with no luck.
   "Where do you think she could be?" Laurance asked. I shrugged. Where is she staying? We might want to check there.
   "It is pretty late in the day, she could be at the house she's staying in. Maybe we could try asking the villagers around here." I suggested.
   "Good thinking." He ran off to a random woman. "Excuse me, ma'am, have you seen a woman with blonde hair, black glasses and a purple jacket? Probably around the library?" He asked.
   "Emmalyn?" She wondered.
   "Yeah!" Laurance seemed to get excited.
   "She's staying in the house about 4 homes down on the left." She said pointing down the path.
   "Thank you, ma'am!" Laurance said as he jogged back over to me. He had a big grin on his face. I giggled.
   "You look like a little kid in a candy store." I told him.
   "Let's go!" He grabbed my wrist and ran off down the road. The sun was starting to set so I wasn't sure if Emmalyn wanted to even talk right now.
   We showed up and knocked on her door. A minute later she came out, looking exhausted.
   "Hey, Emmalyn! You look really tired....." My sentence drifted off.
   "I am.*yawn* I've been up late at night to study!" She replied.
   "Umm. How about we come back tomorrow. I have a big story and you are going to need to be wide awake when I tell you. Get some rest okay?" I told her. She nodded and went back inside her house.
   "Sooo. Where do we stay? I think Cadenza and them are staying with her friends and I'm sure Aph and Garroth have figured something out." I said to Laurance.
   "I think my old house is still vacant." He replied.
   "Okay. Cool......where is that at? I've never been to Meteli so I don't know my way around here." I told him. He grabbed my hand and led me down the path for a while. Soon we got to a house more distant from the village.
   "Here we are!" He exclaimed. We walked inside and it was fairly nice. Bigger than most of the houses here. It only had one room though.
   "It only has one bed. If you want I can sleep on the couch." Laurance told me.
   "No it's fine. I mean, we have slept in the same bed together before so I'm okay with it." I replied.
   "Okay. So do you want any dinner?" He asked me.
   "I'm always down for food." I replied, laughing some. He chuckled and went to the kitchen. I went to the bedroom and got changed into pajamas. I came out and sat on one of the counters that Laurance wasn't using.
   I was about to say something when there was a knock on the door. I got up and opened to see Katelyn was standing there.
   "I couldn't stand Travis and someone said they saw you two come here. Can I stay here for the night?" She asked.
   "Yeah but you're going to have to crash on the couch. There is only one bed."
   "Oooo~ you and Laurance sleeping together~ I ship it." She said with a grin. I rolled my eyes and let her in.
