So my dog really wanted a taki so I gave her one and she looked really disappointed and I felt really bad and she kept licking other things probably to cool off her tongue and I feel like a horrible person for laughing but yeah. She's the dog in the picture above. Onto the story!

Y/n's POV
I woke up to a bird hitting my window. Poor bird. Oh well. I got up and put the original dress I got from Cadenza. I went downstairs to make some breakfast. Hmm. No flour. Maybe just some cereal will do. I grabbed some fruit loops from the cupboard and a bowl. I poured the cereal into the bowl and then I went to the fridge for some milk. I finished preparing this fine meal and sat down. I was eating when Laurance came upstairs. I almost forgot he lives with me now.
   "Morning." He said groggily. My mouth was full so I just waved at him. He poured two glasses of Apple juice and handed one to me.
   "Thanks." He sat down next to me and smiled. "What?" I asked while giggling.
   "Nothing." He said, looking away and smiling. I nudged him with my elbow.
   "Tell me!" I insisted.
   "You're just so beautiful even when you just woke up." He told me. I blushed and smiled. We ate in silence for a while until I finally said something.
   "What does Aphmau want with Zane? Our mission was to kill him."
   "I think she wants to ask him why he was here and stuff. Also where Garroth is." He said. I almost forgot. We still hadn't found Garroth! I was just about to say something but someone knocked on my door. I got to and saw Aphmau. She looked stressed. I opened the door.
   "Hey Aph! Are you okay?" I asked considered.
   "Zane was saying he wanted to talk to you. Alone." She told me. Oh Irene. What am I going to do? I can't go alone I could get killed or something.
   "Um. Do you know why?" I asked her. She shook her head no. I pursed my lips. I didn't want to go but it might be important. I agreed to seeing him and I closed the door behind Aphmau.
"You're going to see Zane. Alone. No guards. Where he could hurt you?" Laurance asked me.
"Listen you can come with me to the jail but you have to wait outside or he might not talk to me." I told him.
"*sighs* okay fine." He said getting up. We left to the jail hand in hand. When we got there Laurance waited outside.
"If I'm not out in 15 minutes come in, okay?" I told him. He nodded and I pulled up my hood. I opened the door and entered. I turned the corner and saw Zane sitting up against the wall in his cell. He looked up when he heard me coming.
"Zane." I said.
"Y/n. So glad you could make it. I was getting a little worried that you wouldn't show." He told me. I rolled my eyes.
"What do you want?"
"I want to know why Laurance called you Y/n." Oh no. Does he think-? No no. He can't. Right?
"It's a nickname." I told him, not showing a tinge of emotion.
"Oh really? Because I heard that Princess Y/n ran away." He said, starting to grin.
"And such a shame too. She had a bright future ahead of her." I told him. Hope he bought it.
"Yes. You really did. But you ruined it with coming here." He said. NO NO NO NO. NOOOO. I kept my face straight.
"Ha! Me? A princess?! How adorable. I would never even come from a terrible village like White Rain." I said, fake laughing.
"Oh really? Because my, dear, brother Garroth told me otherwise." What?! How did he-?
"Where is Garroth?! Tell me or you're as good as dead!" I shouted.
"Garroth joined me. Willingly. After he saw Laurance and the girl he loved going out, he didn't know what to do. I was just being a brother and comforted him in his time of need."
"I SAID WHERE IS GARROTH?!" I growled.
"Temper, temper. You know if you want to control your magicks you can't get angry like that." He said, fake pouting. I reached through the bars and grabbed his neck collar, pulling him closer to me.
"Listen here you little shit. I don't know how you know about my magicks, but you better shut up before I make you." I released him and left. I pushed the door open and walked passed Laurance. HOW DID HE KNOW THAT STUFF. I could have killed him right then and there. But I'm doing this for Garroth. What did he mean 'after he saw Laurance and the girl he loved going out...' Sure Garroth likes me but love? No. It's just Zane trying to trick me. I need to calm down. I gritted my teeth and Laurance must have saw. I walked away but Laurance went into the jail.
Laurance's POV
   Zane had said something to Y/n that cut deep. I rushed inside to see Zane rubbing his neck. What did she do?! I brushed those thoughts away and walked up to the thing.
"What did you say to Y/n?!" I asked him. He snickered.
"We just talked. That's all." He said with a sly grin. "What you should be more worried about is your little girlfriend."
   "Why should I be worrying about her right now?" I asked concerned. He laughed and brushed me off.
   "Zane!" I yelled. He didn't respond. I ran out of the building and tried to find where Y/n was. I hope she's okay.
