Katelyn's POV
I left Nicole's house and it was already 11:00 pm. I didn't really want to stay at her house so I went to the house the others were in. When I got there the door was locked. Damn. I knocked on the door, hoping someone was awake. I hear footsteps coming and then it sounded like someone fell. I heard a slight groan. The door opened slowing to reveal Y/n. Her hair was a mess and a rug burn was starting to form on her right cheek.
"You okay?" I asked her. She grumbled something and let me in.
"The only rooms that you can sleep in is either a bedroom with Travis or the living room. Everyone is going to be up in a few hours and they are going to be somewhat loud. But I don't care. Sleep wherever." She told me and walked away. She must have been asleep when I knocked. I was going to sleep on the couch but there was no blanket and no pillow. I really didn't want to be in the same room with Travis but I didn't want to be cold either. I sighed and found the room he was in. I hoped he was asleep but he wasn't.
"Hey beautiful~" he said. I rolled my eyes.
"This is the only room with a blanket that I can use. Can I grab it and go to the living room?" I asked as nicely as I could. He smirked.
"Or... You can just sleep with me." He suggested. I didn't want to but I doubted he would give me a blanket. I walked up to him and punched him, knocking him out. I drug him to a nearby chair and propped him up. I went to the bed and fell asleep. (Sorry but I ship Travlyn all the way)
Time skip. ~(-•-)~
I woke up to the smell of waffles from downstairs. I rub my eyes and stretch out. Then I realize someone is in bed with me. I look over and see its Travis. Why am I not surprised? I elbowed him in the gut. That woke him up.
   "What the hell do you think you're doing?" I asked him, obviously mad.
   "What? I got cold last night when I woke up in the chair." He told me. I rolled my eyes and got out of bed.
   "Leave. I need to change." I told him.
   "Or~ I could stay." He argued. I gave him the death glare and went to the bathroom to change. When I came out Aphmau was giggling to Lucinda.
"Kat-" She started.
"Don't say a word about Travis and I. I fell asleep first in the bed, then he got in bed. Not my fault." I said, not wanting them to get any ideas. She stayed quiet. I went over into the kitchen to see Y/n making waffles and hash browns. I tapped her on the shoulder and she turned around, her face had a really bad rug burn on it. I winced when I saw it.
"It's that bad isn't it?" She asked. I nodded yes.
"Sorry about that." I said, trying to make her feel better. She went back to making food. I went and sat on one of the couches. Travis soon came up to me.
"Want some coffee?" He asked me.
"You're not being a pervert this morning?" I replied.
"So is that a yes on the coffee?"
"I guess so." He soon came back with a solid white mug with lime green flower designs on it.
"Thank you." I told him, trying to be nice since he was being nice to me. I sipped my coffee. Laurance walked inside with a letter in his hand.
"Guys, Raven just dropped off this letter... Zane is already in Phoenix Drop..." He said. No no no! This wasn't supposed to happen!
"We have to get back to Phoenix Drop as soon as we can." Aphmau said professionally.
"We need to go NOW. Zane can take control of the village of the head guard leaves. If Garroth isn't seem within 24 hours and Zane is there... Bad things will happen." I explained to them. Y/n was the only one who did anything. She put the food into our bags and hauled them to our horses.
"LETS GO!" She shouted behind her. We all ran after her. She got on her horse and we all did the same. H/n sprinted off. We all tried to keep up. Travis was falling behind so that was almost bad. In about 3 hours we got back home. Zane's ship was docked. Aphmau tossed me her reins and ran off to find Garroth or Zane. I put mine and Aph's horses in the stables, everyone else did the same.
Y/n POV
We put our horses in the stables. Laurance came up to me.
"What was that all about? Taking charge back there, I mean." He asked.
"Well everyone was standing around, thinking of what to do when we really just needed to get home. We could think on the ride here." I answered bluntly. It was kind of obvious that we needed to get back before Zane kills people.
"I see. We should go find Garroth and Zane though. Make sure to keep your sword close." He told me. I nodded and we went out.
We searched for a while with no luck.
"Why don't we go to the old Lord's home?" Laurance suggested. I didn't know that was a thing. I agreed and he led the way. We got there not too long later. It was in shambles.
"Heheheh. Just like you to check the old Lord's home, Little Laurance." Someone chuckled deeply from behind us. "Looks like you ever brought your little girlfriend." I could tell he was looking at me. I didn't like the feeling of it. I hadn't even turned around and I know he is pure evil. Laurance turned around though.
"What do you want, Zane?" Laurance spat. It didn't sound like Laurance. Zane must have done something terrible. I could sense that too. Like something was radiating off of him, but I don't know what.
"Oh nothing really. Just give me Y/n and everything will be fine with the village. WHAT?! Um no. He can't have me. I'm too good for him. I finally turned around at long last.
"Don't even think about laying a finger on her." Laurance said, venom dripping from his voice.
"Or else what? You're going to kill me with you're toothpick? Hahahah! I'd like to see you try." Zane retorted. He brought out a grey and black broadsword. Great a fight. Just what I want right now. I brought out my sword and so did Laurance. Zane looked surprised that I had a weapon. Guess he shouldn't under estimate me. He lurched forward, aiming for my chest. I deflect it with ease.
"This is going to be easier than I thought!" I hear myself say.

Tomorrow a diaries is going to be released and I'm super pumped to see what happens!!!! This is the first time Garroth is back and not in dreamland thing but also Aaron might be dead. But that means Zane might be dead. But we can't hate on Zane. Without him, so many things wouldn't have happened. These things needed to happen to progress in the story. Every story has an antagonist that is super important, or else it's boring. Maybe Aaron and Zane are both alive in another dimension. We really don't know so don't feel sad that Aaron is gone for now. :3
