Chapter 6: News
"Lala la la la," Pinkie sang in a sweet soft tone as she skipped back to her room. Dash was obviously creeped out by her personality.
She stood there frozen in place before proceeding with what she had to do. She flew across the hospital still wondering what to do.
"Rainbow!" somepony called. "Nurse Redheart?" she faced her. "Where are you going?" the mare asked.
"I...I don't know," she answered honestly. "Well, I'm guessing you want to know how your friends are," the nurse said.
"How did you-" she started but got cut off. "Come with me," she informed as Rainbow followed her.
"W...Where are we heading?" Dash asked. "I figured it'll be hard to tell you so instead..."
"I'll let you read it," she walked into a waiting room. "W...what do you mean by read it?" she asked puzzled.
"Here," she gave her a copy of Foal Free Press. "Foal Free Press?!" she gasped, even more puzzled than before.
But that was before she realised what was on the front cover. "What...?"
"Fire at the castle of friendship..." she read aloud.
She stood there as she slowly and quietly read the column.
"Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Applejack and Rarity's deceased bodies which were covered with ashes were somehow found," she read again and again, not believing what she was reading.
"No..." her eyes focused on the sentence.
"NOOO!" she screamed. "This can't be happening!" she panicked as she flipped through pages to find more news about the incident.
She stopped as she found page 6. She held the newspaper, shakily and carefully read each word.
The newspaper dropped onto the floor as Rainbow tried her best to whole back her tears. "Rainbow...I'm sorry," the nurse apologised putting her right hoof on Dash's shoulder.
"I-" she started but got cut off by a loud cry. "C...calm down...everything's gonna be alright," she tried to comfort her.
"They're dead! They're all dead! What am I gonna do?!" she sobbed.
"Dashie...?"
