Pinkie Pie sat in silence as she was drowning in her thoughts. She was perplexed.

Should she be a friendly, cheerful, optimistic and hyperactive pony like she always was or should she just be...

Dull and serious?

That, she wasn't sure of. But one thing she was sure of was that she needed to be a good ruler. How to be one, was something she wasn't sure of either. She was too innocent and naive to be dealing with such matters, not all by herself that is. Well, that's what most ponies thought.

"Pinks," a raspy voice called, causing her to raise her head. "I'm done. You wanna head back home?" Dash asked just after being investigated, receiving a nod from the pink mare.

"So, uhh, are you planning anything, Dashie?" Pinkie asked, as she looked out from the carriage that was heading towards the castle. "For what?" Dash asked, facing Pinkie. "The coronation, silly!" Pinkie giggled.

"Oh, that," Rainbow's face twisted into a frown as she sighed dissapointedly.

"Nah, I don't think so," Dash continued. "Oh. Well I've got a loooooot of ideas! I was planning on making a few treats . Maybe cupcakes, donuts, eclairs, creme brulees, chocolate mousse and a lot of other treats! I was also planning on decorating the ballroom with balloons and streamers and all sorts of stuff! What do you think?" she informed. "Meh, it's cool, I guess," Dash shrugged in response.

"But...well...Dashie, can I ask you something?"

Dash turned to face Pinkie Pie suspiciously. "Sure," she answered. "Do you think you can...y'know...lend me a helping hoof with the treats and decorating. I know I could have the guards help and I don't even need to prepare anything but...well..." she trailed off, as she stared down.

"Yeah, why not?" Rainbow Dash replied with a small smile on her face.

Pinkie beamed at the sentence before pulling her friend into an embrace. "Aww thank you Dash! You're the best friend ever!" Pinkie giggled. "Hey, no problem," Dash chuckled.

"But don't get mad if I burn the castle down, okay?" Dash joked, causing Pinkie to break into laughter before she nodded vigorously and answered with hum.

"Then, it's settled! We'll start right after we arrive to the castle! Ooh, I can't wait!" Pinkie squealed, pulling her friend into another hug.

"Yeah, me too..."
