Kinks
Jungkook had been laying in his bunk-bed, staring at the wall next to him, for about an hour now. His brown locks were spread out on the pillow like a halo- clean of blood and grime. The scratchy blanket was pulled up to his chin and his body was curled into a fatal position- legs pulled up to his chest and arms laying limply by his head. Jungkook's brows were furrowed and eyes were unblinking as he stared at the cracks in the wall, trying to process everything that had happened in the past three days.
In his mind, everyone he encountered was like Kolten. And if someone, who met Kolten before Jungkook did, had killed him, then Marley would still be alive. Jungkook believed that by killing everyone he encountered, he not only saved his group from these people, but saved someone that could encounter these people and be in the same position as he and Marley were.
Jungkook rolled onto his back, allowing a sigh to escape his lips before he pressed his hands against the mattress and sat up in the bed. A creak filled the air at the movement, making Jungkook wince and freeze. He held his breath, chewing on his bottom lip and staring into the darkness as he waited for someone to wake up and come check up on him.
Seconds turned into minutes and when Jungkook was sure no one was coming, he grabbed the thin blanket and pulled it off of himself. Jungkook threw his legs over the bed, only to knock over his heavy boots. He winced again, quickly bending down to grab his boots and shove them over his socked feet, hiding his Spider-Man socks.
Jungkook stood up from the squeaky bed, tiptoeing over to the bags placed on the ground before grabbing one. His eyes drifted over to the other bag and stopped at a handle of a knife peaking out of the bag. He reached out and grabbed the knife to pull it out, only to pull out a strap kind of thing with multiple knives attached to it.
Jungkook's brows rose as he stood up from his crouching position and held the thigh strap in front of his face. His fingers ran over the material and the handles of the knives as he admired the strap and tried to figure out how to wear it. Shrugging, Jungkook placed the strap under his armpit and grabbed his bag, gun and jacket. He blew a strands of his hair out of his face before tiptoeing out of the cell without looking back.
The moonlight fell through the barred windows of the prison, illuminating Jungkook's body and the path in front of him. The bunny boy snuck past the open cells until he reached the stairs and ran down them, wincing at the sound of his boots slamming against the metal steps. Jungkook's hands were full of stuff, that nearly fell out of his arms from how much things he was carrying. His boots were still untied and hair was sticking up in all directions, from rolling around in his sleep.
Silence engulfed the prison as Jungkook carefully tiptoed into the main room and began to walk over to the exit. His heart pounded in his chest and stomach growled, begging for food, but Jungkook pushed his hunger away and continued to walk towards the exit. He wanted to leave the prison before anyone woke up, but at the sound of a husky chuckle, Jungkook froze in his steps.
His breath hitched in his throat and adam's apple bobbed as he swallowed thickly. Barely audible footsteps echoed through the room before Jungkook felt the warmth of another person next to him. His wide eyes didn't leave the door in front of him as the person leaned down and whispered huskily,
"Where are you going, Kookie?"
A shaky breath left Jungkook's lips before he turned his face to the side, only to make his nose bump into Taehyung's. Jungkook flinched and jumped back, eyes growing wide as he looked up at the older Male. The moonlight attached itself onto Taehyung's sharp features, leaving a trail of kisses along his cheekbones and the tip of his nose. His raven hair was brushed to the side, revealing his forehead and allowing Jungkook to stare into his obsidian eyes.
"I...I...wanted to...you know." Jungkook stuttered, pulling his stuff closer to his chest before releasing an awkward laugh, "It looks nice outside...I...wanted to look at the stars. Jup! I wanted to look at the stars. You know? The...the things that glow in the sky and can be only seen when it's dark outside." Jungkook slowly inched closer to the exit, ignoring Taehyung's mischievous eyes following him, "I..I'm gonna go now...to watch the stars."
"Right, the stars." Taehyung nodded, allowing a smirk to stretch his lips apart as he crossed his arms over his broad chest and continued to stare down at Jungkook, "I'll join you. I've been wanting to look at the stars for a while now." Taehyung shrugged, dropping his arms to his sides before brushing past Jungkook to exit the prison.
"I..wha..no!" Jungkook quickly spun around, stretching an arm out to grab Taehyung and pull him back. The sudden movement caused the thigh harness and his jacket to drop down to the ground with a clunk.
Taehyung's eyes fell down to the fallen items before he slowly looked up at a wide eyed Jungkook. Tae's brow arched and his lips pursued as he hummed and nodded, "Right." He dragged out, running his tongue over his lips to stop himself from laughing as he watched Jungkook cough and quickly bend down to pick up 'his' stuff.
Jungkook grabbed the fallen items into his already full hands, only for his backpack to fall to the ground. He quickly grabbed the backpack, only for his rifle to fall. A groan rumbled in Jungkook's throat before he stood up and pushed the backpack into Taehyung's chest, "Hold this." He grumbled with a heavy scowl, bending down to grab his gun.
Taehyung snorted and threw the bag over his shoulder before whirling around on his heel and walking over to the door. Jungkook looked up- his scowl deepening as he watched Taehyung walk away with his backpack.
"Hey!" Jungkook hissed, running after Taehyung. The latter ignored him and slid the door open before stepping to the side and stretching his arm out to gesture towards the open door, "After you." Taehyung winked, making Jungkook huff and scrunch up his nose.
Jungkook pushed past Taehyung to walk out of the prison and into the courtyard. Goosebumps rose on his skin as the cold air wrapped around him like an itchy blanket. Distant growls filled his ears and as he turned to look out into the field, the moonlight illuminated the wandering walkers.
Jungkook pressed his lips into a straight line as he tried to pull his jacket around his shoulders, while still trying to hold up his stuff. He slid one hand into the sleeve, but as he tried to slide in his other hand, his fingers slipped and the jacket fell against his back. Jungkook groaned, throwing his head back in annoyance before trying to spin around in a circle to grab the jacket.
Taehyung watched him from the sidelines, tilting his head to the side and placing his hands on his hips. He watched the boy struggle for a few more minutes for his own amusement before finally taking pity on him. Taehyung didn't say anything as he stepped closer and grabbed Jungkook's jacket, holding it up for the boy to slip his other hand inside.
"Thanks." Jungkook muttered under his breath, turning away from Taehyung as he slid his hand into the sleeve. His cheeks burned bright red as he he heard Taehyung hum and pat him on the back gently.
Taehyung straightened out Jungkook's jacket and fixed his collar, "Turn around." Taehyung ordered, ignoring the blush Jungkook was hiding by turning his body halfway away from Taehyung.
Exhaling a shaky breath, Jungkook sunk his teeth into his lower lip and turned around to fully face Taehyung. His gaze fell down onto his heavy boots as Taehyung took a hold of his zipper and zipped his jacket shut. Jungkook tilted his head back to avoid his skin getting captured into the zipper, only to make eye contact with Taehyung.
"You should've ate something before going back out there." Taehyung shook his head, making his brown curls move along. A small crease formed between his brows as he furrowed them, allowing his hands to slide over Jungkook's collar to fix it.
Jungkook's breath hitched in his throat as he felt Taehyung's fingers brush over the skin on his neck, "Out...out there?" He wondered with furrowed his brows, not objecting as Taehyung took a hold of the stuff in his arms and dropped it to the ground by their feet. Jungkook's eyes were glued on his things before Taehyung curled his cold fingers around Jungkook's wrist and held up his arm, "What are you doing?" The boy huffed, scrunching up his face, yet not objecting as Taehyung grabbed the sleeve of his jacket and rolled it up.
"Do you think I'm stupid? You would have never stayed here after you woke up. I just thought you would sleep for a few more hours." Taehyung shrugged, allowing his lips to stretch out into a boxy grin as he looked into Jungkook's bambi eyes. The corners of Taehyung's eyes wrinkled and the bridge of his nose scrunched up, but he never looked away from Jungkook as he released his right hand and grabbed the other.
"Uhm...you're not gonna stop me? Give me a lecture? Lock me in the cell and force me to eat?" Jungkook rambled, allowing his eyes to flicker down to Taehyung's long fingers folding up his sleeves so that they wouldn't get in his way, "Maybe...maybe even, you know...knock me out to make me sleep for a few more hours?"
"You'd like that wouldn't you?" Taehyung chuckled in a teasing manner, making Jungkook's cheeks redden. The bunny boy quickly shook his head and looked away from the older as he awkwardly shuffled on his feet, "Don't worry, I'm just teasing." Taehyung released his wrist, allowing his hand to fall limply by his side, before he stopped closer to Jungkook and tapped his fingers against Jungkook's chin, "I'm sure you have different kinks." Taehyung purred huskily before straightening and brushing past a speechless Jungkook.
"How...what if...you don't know that! What if I don't know what kinks even are?" Jungkook hissed, stomping his feet as he marched after Taehyung. He left his stuff laying on the ground and stopped next to Taehyung, who stood in front of the metal gate.
"Okay, listen." Taehyung murmured lowly, trying not to attract the attention of the walkers. He completely ignored Jungkook's words and the glare on his face as he faced him, "We need to get the attention of a walker, then we need to get it inside here. You understand?" Taehyung spoke slowly, watching carefully as Jungkook rolled his eyes and nodded.
"Why do you need a walker?" Jungkook whispered under his breath, pressing his hand against the fence and curling his fingers around the wires.
"I don't need a walker," Taehyung mumbled, pointing at one of the walkers that was closer to the fence, "you need a walker." He finished, making Jungkook's head swing around towards him.
"Why would I need a walker?" Jungkook hissed, squinting his eyes into a glare before releasing his hold on the fence and crossing his arms over his muscular chest.
Taehyung rolled his eyes and turned around to face Jungkook. His lips lifted up into a sarcastic smile and his tone grew sugary sweet as he responded to Jungkook, "How else are you planning to go through the field?"
Jungkook's face dropped, along with his arms. He shuffled on his feet and kicked away a small pebble, watching it as it rolled across the pavement and hit the metal gate. Taehyung rose a brow, leaning closer to Jungkook as the younger mumbled something under his breath.
"What was that?"
"I was planning to run."
Silence engulfed them both at Jungkook's answer. Jungkook chewed on his lips and shoved his hands into the jacket before slowly looking up at Taehyung. The older pressed his lips together before sucking in his cheeks and straightening out.
"Right." Taehyung dragged out, coughing awkwardly as he brushed his hands over his hoodie, "Yeah, we're not doing that." He shook his head and looked out into the field, cringing at the idea of Jungkook just dashing through the walker filled field, "Was that really your plan?" Taehyung asked in disbelief, swinging his head around to look down at a blushing Jungkook.
"Yeah." The bunny boy muttered quietly, not looking at Taehyung and, instead, tuning to look up at the starry sky, "O..oh, look! The stars are really nice tonight." Jungkook winced, trying to change the topic.
Taehyung sighed and pressed his fingers against the bridge of his nose, "Good thing I'm here." He grumbled, shaking his head.
Jungkook's face scrunched up into a look of disbelief before he scoffed and pressed his hand against Taehyung's shoulder, pushing him away, "Shut the fu-"
"Okay, so I'm gonna whistle, you open the gate, I'm gonna grab the walker and you shut the gate." Taehyung cut him off before Jungkook could utter the curse word. He manoeuvred around the glaring boy and pulled out a dagger, twirling it between his fingers as his eyes zeroed in on a single walker.
The field was filled with walkers- most of them roaming around the open area, but some of them were lurking just outside this fence. Taehyung wanted to get the attention of the one closest to the gate, and leave the rest oblivious to what was happening.
"Fine." Jungkook threw his head back and groaned. He grabbed a hold of the metal gate and looked back at Taehyung. At the small nod, that Taehyung agave him, Jungkook unlocked the gate and pulled it open. A creaking sound filled the air as the gate slid open, capturing the attention of the walkers closest to the gates.
"Fuck! Jungkook!" Taehyung hissed, watching as the five walkers stumbled towards the now open gate. Growls and snarl fell past their lips as they brushed past each other, trying to get to them first.
"What? It's not like I can stop the gate from creaking!" Jungkook exclaimed- eyes growing wide and hands tightening around the gate as the distance between them and the walkers reduced.
Taehyung rolled his eyes at Jungkook's words and quickly ran over to his thigh harness. He looked over his shoulder at the walkers as he ripped out two throwing knives. Taehyung pushed off of the ground and whirled around on his heel, twirling the throwing knifes between his fingers as he approached the gate- gaze glued on the walkers behind the one at the lead.
Jungkook gulped, slowly pushing the gates shut as the first walker nearly reached the gate, "Tae!" He called out in alarm, noticing that the walker was heading towards him.
Taehyung's eyes snapped over to Jungkook as soon as he heard the nickname fall from his lips. He noticed that the first walker was heading right towards Jungkook and as soon as it's feet dragged through the gate, Taehyung raised his arm and threw the knife. The knife whooshed through the air, slamming into the walker's head. It's growls died out on its tongue as the body fell to the ground by Jungkook's feet.
"Close the gate!" Taehyung yelled, glaring and throwing his second knife. The knife pierced the skull of another walker just as Jungkook slammed the gate shut. The rest of the walkers slammed into the metal fence, shoving their fingers through the holes to try and push through.
Jungkook jumped back, hunching over and placing his hands on his knees as he released a deep sigh. Taehyung rolled his eyes, yet didn't deny the small smile that lit up his face, "You're acting like you did all the work." Taehyung chuckled as he walked past Jungkook and towards the dead body.
"Shut up. Shutting the gate was ha..hard." Jungkook grumbled, following after Taehyung and hovering behind him. He furrowed his brows, running a hand through his curls as he watched Taehyung pull out his knife from the walker's skull, "What now?"
"I was originally planning on getting you a pet walker, but now you'll have to settle on being covered in walker guts." Taehyung turned his head around to smirk up at Jungkook as he lifted his knife and plunged it into the walker's stomach. Blood splattered on Taehyung's hands and hoodie but he ignored it and dragged the knife down its belly, cutting the stomach open.
A nasty smell drifted through the air as soon as the belly was open, causing Jungkook to gag and press his sleeve against his nose, while Taehyung's face scrunched up and he pulled his shirt over his nose.
Shuddering and taking a deep breath, Taehyung dug his hands into the open stomach and painted his hands red, "This is way worse than I remember." He cringed, feeling the warmth and wetness of the guts before pulling out his blood soaked hands, "Come 'ere." Taehyung gestured Jungkook over, standing up and holding out his dripping hands.
"Is this really necessary?" Jungkook gagged, squeezing his eyes shut as he stepped closer to Taehyung. He winced as he felt Taehyung press his hands against his chest and smear the blood onto his jacket.
"If you don't want to get attacked." Taehyung shrugged, bending down to grab more blood out of the stomach before standing back up and smearing it onto Jungkook's shoulders, "Make sure to get rid of the jacket and don't get the blood into your wounds, eyes or mouth."
Jungkook nodded, still keeping his eyes shut and shoulders squared as Taehyung practically covered his jacket in walker guts, "Are you done?" He hissed after a few minutes of silence, peeling his eyes open to look down at Taehyung.
The older sighed and gave a small nod, he stood up and pressed his hands against his hoodie, wiping the blood off of his skin.
"So..." Jungkook trailed off, pointing his thumb over his shoulder at the walkers slamming against the metal fence, "You covered me in walker guts but how am I gonna get through them?"
Taehyung froze and looked up, his eyes flickered from Jungkook to the fence before returning back to Jungkook. He swallowed thickly before releasing an awkward chuckle and placing his hands on his hips, "Okay, how about I open the gates, you run through, I shut the gates and kill the walkers that walked through?"
Jungkook eyed him sceptically before nodding slowly, "Uhm...sure." He mumbled, walking over to grab his stuff. He swung his rifle around his shoulders and grabbed the backpack with supplies.
Once he was done, Jungkook turned around and approached Taehyung, who was staring through the fence and glaring into the eyes of a walker, "You planning to say something to it?" Jungkook scoffed, standing next to Taehyung.
Taehyung spared him a small glance, eyeing the blood soaked jacket and the intestine that hung around Jungkook's shoulders. Taehyung ran his tongue over his lips before bending down and whispering to Jungkook, "You look hot covered in blood."
Jungkook's face scrunched up in disgust before he swung his head around to look at a smirking Taehyung, "Shut up." He grumbled, slouching and stepping closer to the gate.
A deep chuckle rumbled in Tae's throat at Jungkook's reaction before he nodded and grabbed a hold of the gate. The two looked at each other, sharing a silent nod before Taehyung slid the gate open. A walker stumbled through the gate, brushing past Jungkook as the boy squeezed through the narrow opening. Taehyung held his breath and shut the gate, his eyes stayed glued on Jungkook's back as he grabbed the walker in front of him and shoved his knife into its skull. The body fell to the ground be his feet, yet Taehyung completely ignored it and stayed still as he watched Jungkook successfully slip past the walkers.
Jungkook's heart pounded in his chest and head throbbed as he dragged his shaky feet across the pavement. He tried to steady his heavy breathing and the shakiness of his hands as he brushed past the walkers against the gate. His foot caught onto the body of a dead walker, capturing his attention. Jungkook's eyes drifted down to the knife stuck into the walkers skull before he smirked and quickly bent down to grab Taehyung's throwing knife.
Jungkook's hand clenched around the handle of the throwing knife as he looked around to see if he had caught anyones attention. No one seemed to be paying attention to him- too busy trying to get to Taehyung or just wonder around aimlessly. Jungkook looked over his shoulder at Taehyung and held up his throwing knife, teasingly waving it around.
"You loose it and I'll beat your ass!" Taehyung called out with a smirk, but Jungkook's only answer was an eye roll and a middle finger.

A black xc60 Volvo sped down the road, leaving a cloud of dirt and dust in its wake. The windows of the car were rolled down, allowing the music, inside of it, to blare loudly and attract the attention of the nearby walkers. Their heads turned towards the loud booming before they dragged their feet after the black car, stumbling as they tried to catch up.
A slender hand slid over the wheel, gripping it and turning it slightly to the side. Katelyn's foot gently pressed against the stop pedal as she drove the car off of the road and parked it at the edge of the forest, "This is far enough, if we head closer, Rick's group could hear us."
"If you turned down the music, they wouldn't." A male in the backseat scoffed and grabbed the door handle.
Katelyn's head swung around towards the guy and she quickly pressed her finger down on the lock button. A small click filled the car as the doors were locked. The Male furrowed his brows and turned around to look at Katelyn, who grinned back at him and leaned over to the back seat.
"Listen here, milksop, I'm the one who's in charge. You got problems with that? Sure! Lets get out of this car and you can challenge my authority properly, instead of mumbling something under your breath." Kate spat, allowing her smile to crumble and her lip to curl into a hostile sneer.
The blond Guy, Matthew, clenched his jaw and looked away. Matthew was a small, skinny man with too much ego. Despite his young age, wrinkles covered his face from the permanent scowl that rested on his lips. Matthew had thick brows and blue eyes, matching his short, blond hair. His nose was a bit crooked to the left side and one brow was higher than the other, but the small dimples in his cheeks made up for his imperfections. The reason why Matthew was so grumpy and aggressive, was because he hated the idea of a female leading their group. He had always believed that men were superior, so this didn't sit well with him.
Matthew gave Kate a small nod, not releasing his hold on the door handle as he waited for Katelyn to unlock the car. The blonde girl continued to glare into the side of Matthew's face before pressing her finger down on the unlock button. Matthew immediately threw the door open and jumped out of the car, not looking back as he slammed the door shut.
"Right, boys." Katelyn grinned, allowing her eyes to flicker from Sean, who's face was pale and eyes were full of worry as he looked into the forest, and to Sebastian, who was sitting in the backseat, right behind Sage.
Sebastian was around 19 years old and he was on the chubby side- with a round belly and chubby cheeks. His hair was shaved in the sides, yet the back was longer, allowing him to tie a small braid. He had a small scar on the beginning of his eyebrow, not allowing any hair to grow there. Sebastian's green eyes were wide with fear and his thin lips were sucked in as he gripped his gun tightly and looked out of the window in fear.
"I think we should split up in pairs. That way we could cover the ground faster and see if the person is here." Katelyn suggested, turning around in her seat as she looked out of the window and into the forest, "We stop looking through the forest when the sun starts to rise. Then all of us head back and meet at this car." Katelyn instructed, drumming her fingers against the steering wheel before dragging them down and allowing her hands to drop into her lap.
Sean frowned at her words, fiddling with his fingers anxiously as he coughed and looked towards Kate, "You sure that splitting up is the best idea?" He asked lowly- the anxiety and fear in his voice shinning through.
Sebastian swallowed thickly and nodded along, sitting up in his seat to look over at Kate, "I think it's best to not split up too."
"Well guess what?" Katelyn exclaimed, grabbing her hair tie from her wrist before gathering her curly hair and tying it up in a ponytail. She flicked her hair over her shoulder and turned around to bop both- Sebastian's and Sean's noses, "I'm in charge." She purred before throwing the door open and sauntering inside.
"Finally." Matthew grumbled, throwing his hands up, "Next time maybe fuck them too." The blond hissed, nose scrunching up and brows knitting together as he glared at a smirking Kate.
"My sex life has nothing to do with you." Katelyn shrugged, brushing past him without a shame. The girl wasn't ashamed that people knew she slept with a lot of people, sex was a way for her to release any bad emotions and forget about the world for a second. And quite frankly, Katelyn couldn't give two shits if people judging her for it.
The doors slammed shut as Sean and Sebastian climbed out of the car, only to be wrapped in the coldness of the night. They both were hesitant as they approached the woods and stood next to Matthew, eyeing Katelyn who stared into the eerily silent forest.
The blonde girl spun around and spread out her arms before placing them on her hips, "Alrighty then, so I'll be taking Sebastian. That means, Sean and Matthew go together. We'll head in that direction..," Kate pointed over her shoulder at the right before pointing at the left, "And you go that way, then we can meet in the middle."
"Wait, we're splitting up?" Matthew's eyes grew large and his mouth fell open. He snapped his head between all three members, scoffing as they nodded back at him, "Fuck this, I don't wan-"
"Then you should've stayed in the car, not left it like a spoiled brat." Katelyn cut him off, tilting her head to the side and raising a brow as he stared right into Matthew's slitted eyes, "Problem?" She questioned, only for the male to clench his jaw and look away, "Right" Katelyn dragged out, not looking away from Matthew as she ran her tongue over her teeth and spoke to Sebastian, "Like I said, you're coming with me."

Jungkook's mind was plagued with the images of Taehyung's grinning face and the sound of his raspy chuckles. Their banters and conversations echoed in his mind, making his cheeks turn a soft red and a ghost of a smile to tug on his lips.
Jungkook couldn't deny that he was grateful for Taehyung's help, realising that he would be in deep trouble, if someone else had caught him or if he went outside alone. Maybe Jungkook admitted that Taehyung wasn't that bad and he didn't want to kill him anymore. Maybe Jungkook will give him a chance to worm himself into his heart and the list of people he cares about.
Or maybe Taehyung has already done that.
Jungkook continued to drag his feet over the pavement, raising his fist to rub at his droopy eyes. For a second, he wished to turn back around and head back to the prison for a nap, but then he remembered that Kolten could be captured this very moment and with every second Jungkook spends away from his traps, the possibility of Kolten escaping increased.
The smell of rotten flesh reached Jungkook's nose, making his eyes fly open and his hand jerk away from his face. He blinked down at his gore covered sleeve before gagging and looking away. Jungkook stopped walking and carefully took off his rifle and backpack, placing them on the side of the road. He straightened back out, grabbing the zipper of his jacket and zipping it open. Jungkook tried not to touch the blood covered jacket as he slowly pulled it off and threw it on the ground.
The cold breeze was quick to attach itself onto Jungkook's exposed forearms, only for the boy to quickly grab his backpack and dig into it to look for a sweater. Jungkook pulled out a black wool sweat and threw it over his head, barely noticing that it was a bit larger than his muscular frame.
Shrugging, Jungkook zipped his bag shut and threw the rifle and bag back over his shoulders. With new found energy, Jungkook hooked his fingers through the straps of the bag and began to walk forward. His eyes were glued to his shoes and the pebble covered ground in front of him, only for something to catch his attention in his peripheral vision.
Jungkook's steps faltered as he lifted his eyes and noticed a black car sitting on the side of the road. The tension in the air grew as he straightened out and looked around the empty road and the dark forest. He could hear the distant sound of bells and an owl cooing as he walked across the road over to the car.
Jungkook leaned over to the car, pressing his hand against the glass as he leaned towards it and peeked into the car. His nose bumped into the glass and breath fanned over it, creating a small fog over the place where his nose was. Jungkook pushed away from the car, when he saw that no one was in it, before allowing his eyes to drift over to the forest behind it.
The tension in the air grew as Jungkook held his breath, staring into the forest with wide eyes and parted lips. Shaking his head and swallowing down the lump in his throat, Jungkook manoeuvred around the car and walked into the dark forest, following the sound of bells.
