It was the next day, I was lying on the bed. As usual doing nothing but staring at the ceiling and the wall. Or sometimes outside.

I wanted some music. His music. It was today that his album was released. I had heard mum saying that most of the songs were back from 2015. I don't know how to feel. The album will be so good. I'm sure of it.

I was staring at the wall ahead of me when mum came in with a tray of food. Most likely boiled vegetables. Though i didn't like it, i had to eat. It was not like I didn't like vegetables, but the appetite I had was no longer there. I had lost the sense of taste.

I took the tray as she sat beside me,and started eating quietly. I knew she had something to say. So i asked her,to which she just smiled and shook her head.

Once I was done, mum bought a bowl of warm water so I could wash and clean my hands.Once they were clean, I jumped to the opportunity and asked her the one thing I was forbidden of.

"Mum, can you get me to listen to icarus? "

"Honey, I wish I could allow you but the doctors...."

"I know mum. But I...I don't know how much I've left. It would be another wish that i can strike off."

She smiled and nodded her head.
