Oliver Wood now in his last year of Hogwarts has always been fascinated by the sheer strength that Carrie - call me Lexa - Potter wielded like both a sword and a shield. During his first match of the year the pitch was flooded with Dementors and attacked Lexa Potter, concern like anything he has ever felt before gripped him like a viper grips his prey.

The minute the match was over, Oliver headed straight for the Hospital Wing instead of the party in the Gryffindor Common Room; he just had to check on her. Every day he would check on her - even learning some sign language (which he was rubbish at) but the fact he tried seemed to wear down her walls more than anything else he did. Apparently not even her friends learnt it. That little spark of friendship would soon grow into a raging forest fire, birthing a desire to protect her within Oliver especially as Sirius Black seemed to be looming closer to her. And he would do his all to protect her.
