Channelle's POV

"That's why I sip my alcohol eh, I don't wanna reason bad things no more" I sang along to the music playing,  it's past seven
Am I dressed for school? Yes, Am I attending? I don't think so...

"Elle!", Maris calls out coming closer to my room, "Elle aren't you dressed- Mom!!!!! Channelle isn't on her uniform!!"

Okay, Maybe I lied about getting dressed, you know that feeling of not just going to school a particular day, not in school mood.. I'm in that mood and I don't think my Mom believes in such mood.

"And why aren't you dressed for school yet young lady"

"Mom, I don't feel like going to school today" I replied

"So, what should happen?, I should be late because of you??!" An angry Maris said

"Look, you know the way to school "

"Your sister isn't leaving the house without you" Mom said and I think she means it

"Momm, it's past seven already, let's just take the day off.. Watch Netflix and Chill"

"And who wants to chill with you?" Maris asked, it's very obvious she's getting angry

"Channelle baby"

"Yes, Mom" I answered smiling

"Even if it's past nine, you're going to school" Mom made it clear

I really don't wanna go to school, you guys wanna know the truth- there's this weird feeling, way bigger and deeper than the last feeling..

" I really don't wanna go to school, I have this weird feeling-"

"Oh common, are we going to do this again, this morning!!!... Channelle has a weird feeling today, oh my God we shouldn't go or near our school for a month…" Little rat ranted

"Somebody needs to shut up this morning" I said throwing a glance at Maris, facing Mom " Mom, please I really don't want to go, please don't make me go " I begged ,making some tears roll down

"Get dressed" She said, shutting the door

"I can't believe I'm gonna be late!" Maris yelled

I can't believe I dropped some tears, and still I wasn't able to stay at home... I'm just going to cry some more

" Channelle!!!!!!!!!!"

Maris has been shouting like that for the past hour... Since they want me to go to school I gotta take my time

"Yell my name one time again and you wouldn't see any good reason to talk throughout today" I said making my way downstairs

"You guys are ready, it's past 9... Looks like some people are getting punished. Channelle you look different" Mom said, looking dressed for work

"Yeah all because of someone" Maris added,eyeing me

"You wanna get beaten by me too?"

"Channelle don't bully her "Mom warned, " Get in the car"

We made our way to the car.

GHA~~

I made my way to the class..

"Why are you late?" Lami asked, I met her by the door

"At least, would you let me come in and seat down"

"Sure, someone's not in a good mood" Lami said following me behind

"You can say that again" Janet said immediately I sat down

"So what's wrong, First you come late, second you're looking scary and moody" Lami points out

"I was forced to come to school" I told them

Lami bursts into laughter " Like seriously, I know how it feels but why weren't you in the mood to come to school"

"I have this weird feeling that's getting bigger as I speak"

"You and this your weird feeling, every time weird feeling, small thing weird feeling" Janet complains

"Janet is right, maybe you should do something about it"

"I feel sick" I said resting my head on the table

"Sorry, it's just a feeling it would fade away" Lami said checking my temperature

"Okay, maybe I'll just sleep" I suggested

"But you just got to school"

"Yeah but it would help"

Few minutes later

It doesn't look like it's helping

"Hey, you aren't sleeping" Amarachi said, walking towards me

"It wasn't helping"

"I get, My parents literally force me to school every damn day" she continued

"Just for today and my wish couldn't be granted" I said

"Don't cry oh, well I was asked to come check up on you"

"Awwn, so sweet of you guys"

"Quite sweet, since you're awake you have to come with us" She said

"To where"

"We'll be going to one abandoned part of the school"

"Why??" I said getting up to follow her

"Exploring, but we wouldn't spend more than 30 minutes"

"Okay let's go"

On getting there, we were quite a number  Dora the explorer

"Was she awake?" Janet asked

"I was, wasn't able to sleep" I replied her

"Remind me why I'm here again" Jayden said, with a little bit of anger

"Chill your horses Jay, let's go guys" Janet kinda ordered

We are here and trust me when I say, it surely is "dusty", we've been coughing like since we got here...

"This is hella dusty" Jimmy said, wiping his finger on the table

"We know Jimmy" Lami said, obviously tired of hearing it over and over again since she can actually see that it's dusty

"So what exactly are we here for" I asked, looking for a place to sit down

"Finally someone has asked a reasonable question" Jayden said

"We are here to explore, so I heard " Jason said munching on the chips he brought along

"Explore Explore, are we looking for some treasure or what?, Jason please can I have what you're eating?" I asked

"Here you go, and you can come sit here"

"Thanks Jason"

"You're welcome, I suggest we split"

"Split to where?" I asked with hint of fear

"Chill Elle, we'll just split to search for anything and we'll meet back here" Jason said assuring me

"Okay, buh I'm scared"

"Nothing is going to happen to you" Janet said walking towards me,

"And if it's about your weird feelings, trust me you'll be fine"

I trust you guys, but I don't trust what can happen

"So since that is settled, please choose your partner.. I'll go with Craig" Amarachi said

"I'll go with Jimmy" Janet said

"I'll go with Jason" Lami added

"Why is nobody going with Jayden" I asked

"Because, we can't stay close to him with his expression, he looks he's gonna eat someone" Amarachi replied

"But I'm gonna stay close to him right"

"Don't worry hun, you'll cope" Lami said hugging me

"See you guys, bye!" Janet said going inside with Jimmy

"I hope you know your way around" I asked Jayden

"This is not my school, so NO "

4 minutes

We mistakenly got locked in a classroom, if only he had just listened to me but No

"So we've been locked in a classroom"

"You're not blind Woman!!! And I can clearly see that"

"Don't yell at me!!, you caused this!"

"Not one more word from you" he warns

"So I've been locked in this dusty, sweaty classroom and you expect me to keep quiet!!! Are you mad!!"

Calm down

"Shut up and sit down"

"I'm not gonna sit-"

We stopped talking, somebody was talking they sounded like they were in the next classroom.

"Shuuu" Jayden motion, hands on the lips

We made our way slowly and tried to listen.. Two people were having this conversation, One person's voice sounds like a Lady and the other like a Man.. 
The Lady started talking and the next thing we heard was

" The new girl Channelle seems to be the best candidate for this year besides she's new to this school, so getting rid of her wouldn't be a problem"
