Channelle's POV

I texted Jayden yesterday night about where to meet at school but he didn't reply and I want to assume he saw the text message.

"Channelle!" I jolted out from my thoughts

"Yes Mom"

"I've been calling you, are you okay?" She asked with concern laced in her voice

"I'm sure she's thinking of things to do with Uncle Harry" Maris chipped in

"Yes Mom, Maris is right" I smiled " I just can't stop thinking of things to do"

"I hope you kids know that you wouldn't be skipping school tomorrow"

"Mom!" Maris whined

"I'll be sick tomorrow" I laughed

Maris joined me in laughing "me too"

"So since we'll be sick tomorrow can we skip school?"

"We'll see about that, now out of the car. Have a good day"

"Bye mom" I waved

Putting her hands over my shoulder, Maris drew me closer whispering "I think someone has a plan"

If you think she's in the game, get it out of your head! She's probably talking about Uncle Harry 

"Which plan?"

"The plan with Uncle Harry! I can't wait to get those stuff that daddy always says; you're too young for that, you're not old enough for this, wait till you're that, you're this, you're that" she giggled

"I can't wait too!"

"Not seeing you guys on each other's throat proves that today is going to be a wonderful day!" Jason exclaimed

Maris smiled "It is already!" She goes over to Tina, grabbed her hand, started dancing and pulled her along, they hummed to a Spanish song together and she kept twirling Tina all over and over again

"May I?" Jason asked bowing a little

"Oh sure" we danced to the song humming along

"Awn! Such beautiful children" Jimmy cooed while taking pictures and making videos

"Where's Jayden?" I whispered to Jason

"I don't know, he left before us"

Jimmy cleared his throat "I'm sorry to disrupt what you guys have here but we need to get to class, like now!"

"That was some great bonding, we should do it some other time," Tina said still twirling

"Alright Tina, to our class" Maris drags her off

"Have you seen Jayden?" I asked Jimmy who was trying to show me the videos he made

"Yeah! I saw him going to the Garden with Vanessa, I wonder when they started hanging out"

"So he left us because of Vanessa!" Jason thundered

"Yeah, anything wrong with that?" I asked with a goofy grin

"I'm off to class"

"See you later Jimmy, save me a seat!" I waved, I turned to Jason "Shouldn't you be going to class"

"I have something to do"

"Hmm or you have someone to see"

He stammers "What- what do you mean by that?" He asked pushing his glasses up

"Since when did you start putting on glasses or does she like glasses" I teased him

" Oh christ, Elle!" He facepalmed himself

" Oh lover boy, I'll see you soon I need to find that brother of yours"

"You-you think I don't see you guys too! Huh!" He yelled after me

"Bye!" I waved jogging to the Garden

"Hey, Jayden!" I greeted, hands on my knees panting "Hi to you too Vanessa"

"What do you want girl"

"I'm not here for you, Jayden I need to talk to you" I stood upright still panting

"Oh show some respect, as you can see I'm having a conversation with him," She said pointing at him

"I'm not blind Vanessa! Jayden did you see my message?"

"Oh, you send him messages now!"

"Shut it, Vanessa! Did you?"

"Yes I did" he answered cooly

"And?"

"And?!! Can you get out from here!!"

I ignored Vanessa "You didn't think of replying?"

"Can we do this during Lunch?" He asked

"No, we can't. If it's not now then never"

"I'm sorry, I'm busy right now"

"Yeah, He's busy and besides we are now  dating" she pecked him

I smiled hiding the disappointment "Wow! I need two babies from you guys, I can't wait to be an aunty!" I giggled

 I am disappointed!! I mean are you not?! This wasn't what I was expecting, I guess I'm in this alone just when I thought I had someone 

"Two babies?" Vanessa asked looking confused

"Yeah!" I stepped forward, stretching my hand for a handshake " It's been a wonderful time working together with you Mr Jayden Johnson but I'm sorry we can no longer continue working together so it's more like I'm kicking you out of the game" I grabbed his hand shaking it furiously

"Miss Channelle Wilson, indeed but there isn't any game last time I checked it was Game Over"

"Okay okay. This handshaking stuff is awkward, yeah bye to you too Channelle don't come close to him again"

"See you guys soon with a baby bump" I walked out briskly

Jayden!!!

"Hey, Channelle!" Lami called out immediately I entered the class

"Hey guys" I smiled nervously

"What is it?" Jimmy asked noticing my discomfort

"I gotta tell you guys something" I whispered "come over, form a small circle"

"What is it? What happened?" Craig whispered

"Jayden and Vanessa are having a baby!" I announced. Everyone left the circle, all screaming and shouting Jason was just whispering "God forbid" repeatedly

"Wrong message, a wrong message" I whispered calling them again. "I passed it the wrong way maybe not having a baby but they are dating"

"Impossible!" Craig exclaimed

"Well it's possible," I said

"Tell me you're lying" Amarachi pleaded tugging my hand down

"I'm lying" they all breathed a sigh of relief "oh wait, I'm not lying"

"Argh! Channelle!" Janet shouted

"You don't look affected by this information," Lami said coming to sit close to me

"Oh trust me! I have so much on my plate to think of that" I giggled dangling my leg under my desk

"Wow!"

Vanessa and Jayden walked into the classroom and all eyes were on them including ours, Vanessa's minions - Precious and Kachi kept clapping and hooting aloud

"Welcome the newest couple in school!!" Precious announced hugging Vanessa dearly

"Common guys, clap" I urged our crew, everybody burst into laughter when they saw Jason's face they don't like her "she isn't that bad" I nudged him

"Wait, ain't you like suppose to feel bad and try to plan against her?" Amarachi asked

I grinned wickedly "I am but not for her"

"Settle down kids," Mr Gbenga said tapping his fingers on the table. "Your exams are a few months here and this is how you start your morning!?"

Oh exams, I can't believe I forgot about that 

A few "sorry sir's" could be heard

"Sorry for yourself, we'll start today's lesson with revision"

Janet groaned beside me while I giggled

"Miss Wilson!"

"Yes Sir" I stood up immediately

" Are you fine? You've been smiling since the beginning of this lesson, is everything alright? Something you want to share with us?"

I smiled "There's good news!"

"Oh great! Share it with us everybody loves good news"

"I'm going to be an Aunty!" I smiled while clapping, everybody clapped along  I don't think they get it yet 

"Since everybody here knows the couple! That makes us Uncles and Aunties" I continued clapping, some students laughed while others clapped still laughing though I think they get it now 

"Wait, I don't get it!" Somebody said from behind

"If you don't gerrit forget about it" somebody replied

Everybody laughed " I think I get it now"

"Good good, thank you for that good news, Miss Wilson"

"You're welcome sir" fist-bumping with Janet

Lunch Time

"I don't wanna go in there with Vanessa on our table," Lami said resting her head on Janet's shoulder

"I know right"

"Yeah, but I'm hungry" she whined

"Look, I don't like her okay! But I'm not going to be hungry because of her, common let's go in" Amarachi said pushing us in

"Yay go girl," Jason said sarcastically

"Let's go in, I'm really hungry" I pulled Lami up

We got in line, got our food. We made our way to another table trying to avoid "the newest couple in school" but No! Vanessa called us

"Hey, guys! Over here!" She yelled causing everyone to stare at us " common, come sit with us!"

"Hey Jayden!" we all greeted in unison

"Hey, guys!" He greeted back

We ignored " the newest couple in school" sitting opposite us, nobody had anything to say so we decided to eat our food in silence but No! Vanessa wanted a conversation

"So guys-"

"Can you shut it, Vanessa!" Craig banged his fist on the table

she asked for it

"Don't talk to her like that" Jayden stood up

"Oh shut up!" We shouted together

We continued eating like nothing happened, you thought we were going to leave? Nah, we're too hungry for that.

"By the way, Jayden we need to talk to you" Amarachi glared at Vanessa

"Stop looking at me like that!"

"Dude we just need your permission you know, since he's your boyfriend now" Amarachi explained still glaring at her

"Yeah, you can take him, just 10 minutes. Okay!?"

"Okay. Common lover boy let's go" Janet stood up

School's Garden

"So why did you guys call me," Jayden asked folding his arms

"Why are you dating Vanessa?"

"No no no Jimmy, that's not the way to ask such questions" Janet scolded

"Okay! Fine, then ask him!"

"Jayden, why are you suddenly showing interest in Vanessa," Lami asked

"Now that's more like it" Janet smiled

"How is that any of your business?" He asked with a bored expression

"We are your friends Jayden and-and" Lami couldn't find the words to complete her sentence

"And what?"

"And that is why we wouldn't interfere in your business," I said completing her sentence in my version

"Look Channelle, the year is closed okay? I know you're angry because you wouldn't be getting my attention as you used too" he ranted

"Are you mad?" Amarachi asked angrily

"You better shut up" he pointed at Amarachi " I helped you because I felt pity for you, I helped you because you were helpless, I helped you because-because you were miserable, I helped you-"

My palms collided with his cheeks, " I hate you!!" I shouted with tears threatening to drop

"You slapped me?"

"Yes she did and trust me we would beat you up here, abi shey you dey mad!" Amarachi retorted raising her fists to hit him

"You wouldn't dare Amarachi" Jayden dared her

"Ehn! Shey this guy they whine me ni?" She asked going close to him and punching him, he landed on the floor with a thud

oh my God! Who is Amarachi?  Well all those food paid off, hit him well

Jason holds her from going closer, " Leave me! Let me show this jerk how to talk! You had a choice to help her! But your choice was a stupid one! Let's go guys and warn your Vanessa not to talk to any one of us, we don't mind beating her up" she walked out hissing

Jason shook his head while Craig and Jimmy looked at him with disappointment, "common Elle let's go"

I smiled and said to him "I was happy I got to hit you before Amarachi did, bye Mr Johnson" I held Jimmy's arm

I think Jayden deserved what he got. 

Now! Channelle is all alone in this plan of hers,  just when I also thought she had Jayden by her side. Now, who is she going to rant to?

Would she bring someone to the game?
