Lunch- At The Cafeteria

Jimmy's POV

"Lord, Today we've gathered here in your name-"

"Jimmy can you shut up!" Amarachi yelled "I'm trying to win this game here and you are  disturbing my peace"

I Turned to face Amarachi "Do you even go to church?"

"She misses a service in the church and she's dead" Lami replied sitting down "What's up with you, why the prayer thing, don't get me wrong, it's good to pray but yours is way too sudden"

"Well, you know I plan to be a Reverend Father one day, so It's better I start practising now"

Amarachi started coughing, clearing her throat she said " I hope all the Reverend sisters would be safe"

"Let that time come and we shall know," Lami said smiling

"Thank you, Sister Lami"

Jason, Craig and Janet joined us at the table, Amarachi didn't even wait a minute before rating me out

"Guys do you know what Jimmy is planning to be?"

"No"

"He said he wants to be a Reverend Father"

Jason and Craig burst into laughter, " I guess somebody wants to be like Abraham" Craig joked

"Father of All Nations" Jason added

"You guys are dream crushers," I said resting my head on the table

"Don't mind them" Janet comforted patting me on my back

" Where are the VVIP?" Amarachi asked, opening the lid

of her Ice cream

"VVIP? I thought it was VIP"

"In this case, for these people, It is VVIP which means Very Very Important People, look at the way we are waiting for them, we haven't even touched our food," Amarachi said with her hands in the air

Moving closer to her I asked, "In the meantime, can I share your Ice cream with you?"

"Reverend Father don't eat Ice cream" She retorted slapping my begging hands away

"Not fair at all"

Jayden and Channelle decided to grace our table with their presence and Amarachi once again didn't let them sit before she started

"Welcome our VVIP guest of today," Amarachi said raising her hands to clap

"Sorry if we took your time" Channelle apologized, reaching for a spoon and digging into Amarachi's Ice cream

Girls are wicked 

"I guess we are complete, Janet can you please carry on"

"Yeah sure, Reverend Father Jimmy please can you lead us in prayer"

"Thank you, sister Janet"

"Oh common" Amarachi whined

Jason and Craig were laughing, Jayden and Channelle seemed lost

"We are seriously not doing this, are we?" Lami asked with her hands on the side of her head

"Fine fine, let's get to it" Janet hushed pulling me down. "A student is missing"

"Wait, I don't get," Lami said looking confused, well everybody is confused

"Could it be the kidnapper?" Amarachi asked

"That's what the teachers are saying. She came to school but she never came home. Her teacher said she went missing in school"

"So does this mean no more students for this year?" I asked

"I think so"

 I Shared eye contact with the boys, I noticed a smile forming on Jayden's face. Well, we are all happy. Thank God 

"No student is going to get kidnapped this year again," Channelle said leaning back

"Yes- I mean, since one student has gone missing that should close the chapter of this year. Two student doesn't go missing"

"Have you guys found her body? What about her parents?" Channelle asked

"For the first question, Not yet. As usual, they do what they are good at" Janet replied

"Which is?"

"Hiding it away from the public, I wouldn't even be surprised if they have shifted the blame on her parents for not taking care of their child" Lami answered

Shaking her head, Channelle said "Some parents"

"I have looked deep into this stuff and to be very honest, they know who they kidnap," Amarachi said

"What do you mean?" Channelle asked, taking a piece of meat from my plate

"Drop my meat oh" I warned her

After putting the whole piece in her mouth she said, "Now that I have eaten it, what are we going to do?"

Girls

"I meant that those kidnappers know whose children they kidnap, they can't kidnap somebody like Vanessa, her father is going to bring this school down not minding if she was here or not when the kidnapper kidnapped her. Since this year's task has been completed, I wouldn't be surprised if next year target is a new student" Amarachi explained

Looking alert, Channelle asked, "Why would you say that?"

"Well, the new student wouldn't give the kidnappers issues"

"How do you know a lot?" Jason asked, saying his first few words since he got here

"Wow! the boys are even here, I didn't notice," Channelle said sarcastically

"I know a lot since I observe a lot"

"Just when I thought you don't have sense, boom! You surprise me" I said

"So have you guys ever tried to catch Mr X"

"Channelle, trust me you watch too many American movies," Amarachi said, putting her hands on her shoulder

Swatting her hands away, Channelle said "This is not an American movie, we need to do something!"

"Trying to catch the kidnapper then getting kidnapped in the process? No way" Lami said

"So how would you guys feel if your friend is being kidnapped?" Channelle asked the question

Amarachi came closer, putting both hands on her shoulders she said "That would be next year, our graduation is this year. So chill out"

Channelle gently took her hands off her shoulders and asked her "So what happens to the kids that have been kidnapped and will still be kidnapped?"

"They will learn to live through it as we did"

"Well it sucks to have your mentality," Channelle said to her and left the table

" Are you mad!" Amarachi thundered at Channelle causing everyone at the cafeteria to stare at us, Janet quickly pulled her down

"Calm down"

"Oh you're telling me to calm down, didn't you see how she insulted me nobody said anything" Turning to face us, she said, "None of you said anything because she's your friend right?? We'll see"

"I think she's right about we trying to catch Mr X. When our friend went missing in Jss3 we had a good reason not to do anything- we were small and didn't know what was happening but now we have to do something on this matter, "Lami said

"Good point," Craig said

I looked ahead and saw Vanessa making her way to our table moving her waist like- she better not come here because Amarachi wouldn't hesitate to lash out at her. Well, I guess I'll just have to enjoy the School Drama while it last it's not every day you see a student lashing out on the Queen Bee.

"Looks like the most wonderful group in school fought" Vanessa mocked

"Vanessa I'm sure you were beautiful this morning," Amarachi said giving her a fake smile

"I was of course and I'll always be," Vanessa said, giving us her charming smile

"Well the latter depends on you," Lami said smiling at  her

"What is that supposed to mean?" Kachi asked coming closer

"Well, It means that if you all don't get the hell out of here you'll get ugly for the rest of your life, how about that?" Amarachi asked breathing like a Lion

"You think you would get away with it!? My Father-"

"Your Father works for my Father girl, so don't you dare raise your voice at me" Amarachi exposed

What!!

"Argh! I hate you!" Vanessa yelled, walking out quickly with her minions at her heels

"So Vanessa Father works for your Father," Jason said still surprised at the information exposed

"She acts like her Father-"

"Hey, that's not the point. Okay? Jayden where would Channelle be?" Amarachi asked

"Why are you asking me?" He asked looking surprised

"Well, we are not blind, you've been with her more often" Lami pointed out

"Is that so? Well, she's at the Garden" Jayden said standing up

"Wait, Amarachi what do you plan on doing?" Craig asked

Cleaning her hand she said, "To beat her of course"

We all rushed to block her part, "Common Amara, beating her?" Jason asked in a soft tone

"Get out of my way, I'm going to talk things out with her. The only person I should planning to beat is Vanessa"

"Ermm, Jayden are you okay with us beating your betrothed?" Janet asked nicely

We all turned to look at him. He nodded "she deserves it anyway"

"Superb!" Lami and Janet high fived each other

"Let's go get Channelle," Amarachi said grabbing my arm

Taking her hands off gently, I told her "Reverend Father don't do such" I winked at her and took to my heels, she ran after me yelling how she's going to break my head.
