Jayden's POV

"Hey baby boo!" Jimmy called out as they came into the classroom, "wassup, where's our in-law?" He asked

"She has died" I replied

"So fast! You're in a hurry to marry a second wife, oya tell us any person in mind?" He asked, coming closer

"If you come closer, you will hear it. Where's Channelle?"

"We don't know" Lami said

"What do you mean by we don't know?" I asked getting furious

"Chill Jay, she said she has something to do and she left" Janet said

"And you guys let her go?" I asked, maintaining eye contact with the boys

"What's your fuss anyway?" Amarachi asked getting tired of the endless question, "she's not a child and not like she's lost or something, she's going to come back"

"Look, we have somewhere to be. Let's meet during Lunch" Janet said standing up on her feet. "Common girls, don't miss it Jayden there's something I wanna share with you guys"

"What's that?" I asked

"Let's just meet, Bye!"

"Bye!" I waved a little, "Back to you guys, how could you let her go!"

"We couldn't stop her" Craig said

"If we had pushed further about she not going, the girls would be suspicious and she would have figured it out" Jason added

"Figured what out?"

"Figured that you've told us what happened" Jimmy said

"That's true, do you guys know where she is?"

"No, she didn't tell us" Jimmy replied

"Who knows, maybe she just wanted to clear her head" Craig said, trying to assure us

"Yeah, Maybe. See you soon"

"Where are you going?" Jason asked

"Just want to clear my head and to see somebody," I told them and made my way out.

I went to Tina's class since Maris is in her class, I saw them both. After having a little chat and asking questions, I made way to the Garden and behold Channelle was busy skipping the stairs and dancing- if that's what they call it.

Clears throat

Channelle quickly turned,  with the expression on her face, I'm guessing I just scared her. "What don't you understand by!- Hey Wassup"

That's a new, sudden change of attitude  "Where have you been? and where are you coming from?"

"Well I've been around and I'm coming around"

"Be serious"

"I am serious"

"You are not safe, and you've been stripped off your freedom of movement here because we don't know when Mr X strikes" I said,using my soft tone

"So you can talk like this, nawa oh. Who's Mr X?"

"The school cleaner" I replied scarastically

"Is that his name?"

"Uhm" I nodded trying to hold my laugh, I can't believe she thinks that's his real name 

She turned to face me, seeing my expression I think she gets it now "You are not serious, In fact-"

"So you thought Mr X was the cleaners name?" I asked her chuckling in the process

"You said so and people bear different kind of weird names it wouldn't be a shock if that was his real name"

"True though, but Mr X here is your Kidnapper" I said. Looking at her she seems lost in thinking, she's really going through a lot. "How are you holding up?" I asked nudging her

"This is me, I think I'm doing great don't you think so?" She replied, wearing a sad smile

" I think. Told Maris and your parent yet?"

She chuckled sadly" How do you expect me to tell them? Mom, Dad and Maris I think we should do want I've always wanted to do because I'll be getting kidnapped and wouldn't be alive Or I'm getting kidnapped can we do what I've always wanted!"

I smiled "Any plan yet?"

"I'm thinking of kidnapping Mr X" She said with her hands under her chin

I laughed, haling her "Wonder woman!! Or Supergirl! which one?"

She laughed with her fist in the air, saying"I'll take W.W- Wonder Woman!!"

"Good girl" I patted her head, she swiftly took my hands off her head eyeing me.

"I'm going" She said ready to go

"Where are you going?" The words rushed out from my mouth before I could shut up

"To the lavatory, wouldn't you follow me since you've taken the job of my bodyguard?" She asked

I shake my head "So looking after you is a sin right?"

"Follow me maybe you'll help me turn on the tap ,nonsense" She hissed going to the lavatory block

Girls

Channelle's POV

I made my way to the lavatory block while doing my business I heard footsteps coming in it sounded like 3 students, I shrugged it off not minding them but what's the use? I'll just listen to their conversation at least let me know what's happening in this school of mine.

"Argh! I'm so angry!" I heard one of them yelling

"Calm down" Another one said, calming the one yelling

I don't know who these girls are, I'll just give them a name I haven't heard the third person's voice yet.

So we have Angry Bird;who is angry, we have Calm Chicken; who is calming Angry Bird, and for the third person we have Chicken Spices; who I'm sure is going to spice up Angry Bird, I think that's settled

"And those small things think they can treat me anyhow, just look at the way he was talking to me" Angry Bird laments

"You are the one taking all this rubbish, if it was me I would have shown them," The third voice said A.K.A Chicken Spices. I told you she would spice it up, all these girls

"They are his friends!, I need to be nice to them you know how boys are" Angry Bird said

"Aunty nice, well done" said Chicken Spices

"Let's just treat their mess up!" Angry Bird yelled turning on the tap with force

Aunty better don't spoil it 

"Look let's not do anything we would regret" Calm Chicken said,

Good friend 

"Oh please" Chicken Spices warned

"We need to get rid of her, ASAP- As Soon As Possible" said Angry Bird

"So what's the plan?" Chicken Spices asked

"Wait wait, who are we getting rid off?"

"Precious what the hell is your problem!!" Chicken Spices shouted

Which precious?

"Kachi calm down" Angry Bird calms her down

Which Kachi?

"Vanessa what's her problem, asking questions and saying stuff like she's a dummy" Kachi said angrily

Which Vanessa? The one I know?

"Look precious the girl we are getting rid of is Channelle, she's a pain in the neck and she's ruining my chance with Jayden"

Ah! who did I offend? 

"How is she ruining your chance with Jayden?" Precious asked

Kicking one of the bathroom doors Kachi said "Can't you see what she's doing"

"I must be blind then because I can't see anything, The dude doesn't even like you!!" Precious exclaimed

"What kind of rubbish talk is that?" Vanessa asked going closer to Precious.

"You better face the truth"

"Are you mad!" Vanessa thundered, Kachi held her from going closer, "Calm down, she's not worth it"

Fight! Fight!

"Channelle isn't doing anything wrong, you better leave her"

"Well she's a threat to me and has to be taken care of you" Vanessa said, looks like she's calm

"Let's get out of here. We'll plan at Precious house" Kachi said washing her hands

"Which house?, you better don't come to my house"

Turning the tap off, Kachi said"That's your business"

"Let's go" Vanessa said dragging Precious along

After they left, I came out with my teary eyes. Washing my face and my hands, "They should just share me into two, One for Mr X; One for Vanessa and her crew" I lamented sliding down to the floor and bursting into tears

One of the bathroom door opened, a student walked out and sat on the floor beside me, bringing my head to her shoulder she comforted me, I cried harder while she patted my back then she hugged me just what I needed the most, I felt something wet on my shoulder is she crying? She started crying and I had to comfort her. After we've both calmed down, we made effort to stand up , she was cleaning her face while her head was still bent down the moment she raised her face, I grasped, taking my hands to my mouth.

Guess who my comforter was!!

"Shuu" She said with her finger on her lips "Calm down, I wouldn't tell anyone" She assured me "Let's get out of here".

We got outside the lavatory block, I sighted Jayden resting on the wall at the far end of the Building.

"Like seriously"

She chuckled,"I have to go, I don't want him seeing me, Bye!" And she ran off

I walked towards Jayden,"guess somebody decided to take his job seriously" I joked

"Haha very funny, were you giving birth?"

"Yes and to be honest, it wasn't easy"

He nodded"Okay, by the way who was the person that ran off?"

"None of your business"

Examining my face, he asked " Have you been crying"

"Yeah, like I mean it's a lot. Let's go to class, I'm sure we would have a rescue team searching for us by now" 

"Janet the Mother Hen, she does a lot of work you know?"

"I know"
