"Sir, I have issued all the documents you told me and Mr. Lee from Ace Corp. has sent an email regarding next meeting. Please be sure to go through it.", Jungkook spoken in his professional but robotic voice while looking at Taehyung who still had his head buried in his computer screen. But Jungkook was damn he wasn't doing anything specific.

"Can you please come in and sit for a moment Kook ah?", Taehyung asked.

"Sure sir."

"Stop with that. I need a friend right now. Not an employee.", Taehyung grunted under his breath. And this left Jungkook's eyes wide open in surprise. He silently came in and took a seat in front of Taehyung's desk.

"What?", Taehyung asked voiceless observing Jungkook's surprised expressions.

"What happened to you?"

"What?"

"I mean, are you the same Taehyung I know?"

"Kook I—"

"No you're not!! What happened to you? The Taehyung I know will never act like a lost puppy, let alone in his working hours!!", Jungkook exclaimed. And Taehyung gave him a wtf look.

"Stop over exaggerating. And before you start again let me make myself clear, yes. I don't act like this and that's why I'm frustrated. So don't you dare to mock me more...", Taehyung said in raised voice already making Jungkook shut his mouth.

"Okay, what happened? I'm serious now.", Jungkook said settling comfortably.

"Look, there was someone I met a while ago coincidentally and then we kept crossing paths until one day I gave job to that person as he didn't have any was practically a bum because I felt like it. Now an issue has arose, not really, bit I don't know how to handle it. So I need a little guidance.", Taehyung almost rapped with speed and Jungkook had an expression of a confusion written all over his face. Probably he was trying to catch every thing Taehyung had said or rapped.

Jungkook sighed a little after making up a meaningful paragraph out of Taehyung's babbling. "So... You met someone and then offered them job even they were practically a bum. And now something has happened about them and you need help?", Jungkook asked. Taehyung just nodded. Jungkook's eyes widen.

"Oh my god Kim Taehyung!! This is so not you. You would never offer someone job out of.... nothing. And definitely not to a person who doesn't do anything or has a professional background regarding any work. This must be someone special.... So who's that girl, hmm?", Jungkook squealed while wiggling his brows. Taehyung wanted to snort but decided against it as he was already damn frustrated.

"It's not any girl. He's a boy. And yeah... He is special indeed.", Taehyung mumbled and Jungkook fell silent. He was just teasing him until now. But now that he was seeing the expression of fondness morphing onto Taehyung's handsome face while a little tiny smile tugging on his lips, he knew, it was quite real. And this was the first ever time he was seeing Taehyung like this. He doesn't know the full matter, but he could tell that whoever this boy was, he was quite special... Maybe he was Kim Taehyung's love interest.

'Oh my god, Kim Taehyung in love!! And that too with a boy!!! Welcome to the Club Hoe!!!'

Jungkook wanted to shriek but he remained silent, admiring the lost and fond look on Taehyung's face. He cleared his throat to gain his attention.

"So, tell me about it.", He said quietly. Taehyung sighed.

"So... I offered this boy job because he is practically amnesiac. He doesn't even remember his own name. I call him 'Raven'.", Taehyung continued with a smile. Jungkook was still not used to it. "He is so unbelievably annoying. He doesn't do anything right. He is anything but perfect. He is nothing like anyone I would ever approve of. But still... I don't think.... Life has ever been perfect without all of this. Without.... Him.", He finished with a sigh.

For the first time ever, Taehyung was letting his heart out. Letting his heart speak for him rather than his usual trained mind. And Jungkook didn't even stop him.

"An now... He apparently saw someone during our one outing he probably knows. And he wants to find that man to gain his memories and identity back. He wants my help. But... I'm not sure to help him or not. I'm scared."

"Of what?"

"If he would stay once he finds his memories, probably his family.", Taehyung said with alow tone. Tongue bitter even to mention such thought. Jungkook smiled.

"And what do you think you should do?", Jungkook asked him instead. Taehyung stared at him blankly, trying to grasp the meaning of the question.

"I don't want to. Because that would probably drift him away from my life. But when he begged to me yesterday, I couldn't look into his eyes. My eyes teared up automatically. I hated it. I hated that sad look on his face. I wanted to... help.", Taehyung mumbled. Jungkook smiled.

"So you think that's right? Even if he doesn't stay in your life?", Jungkook asked.

Taehyung was silent. Was he sure to help him? There was a possibility that that man was not even related to Raven. But still the gear of him being wrong wasn't leaving Taehyung's chest. But whenever Raven's ever glowing face crumpling into sad one came to his mind, he despised the tugging feeling in his chest with all his heart. For some reason he couldn't deny Raven's any word. He realised something.

"You know what Kook... I think that's the right thing to do. I have money, the power to help him. So I will. Maybe he won't stay in my life once he finds his family, but he'll smile. Genuinely. He will find his ground. I'm not sure what is this feeling, but I want to do anything that it takes to keep his smile. For once I want to do something for someone else. And it's the perfect feeling I have ever felt...", Taehyung smiled bringing Jungkook into deep thoughts.

A certain someone's face crept into Jungkook's mind. Immediately making a familiar fluttery feeling in his heart.

"Yeah... Anything to keep that smile. Even if he won't stay in my life....", Jungkook mumbled to himself but Taehyung caught every word.

"Um... Kook? You wanna tell me something?", Taehyung asked raising his brow. Jungkook kept his mouth sealed. He wasn't sure if he wanted to share this with anyone. But maybe... He could use a friend too....

"Yeah... There's this guy......"

Jungkook's Daily Diary

28th July 20**

Dear Diary,
Today's day was just unbelievable. I still can't believe that the infamous Kim Taehyung can feel this way for anyone. But it was really good to see him like this. I just hope whoever this person is, stays in Taehyung's life. Permanently.

And I realised something too. I can't be this selfish. So what if he doesn't love me? So what if his heart is already taken? I just want to love him... Even if he doesn't belong to me. I will love him from afar. I won't bother him. As long as he smiles, I'm happy.

P.S.:- I'm gonna meet him. Now I have an apology speech to prepare. God, help me.
