"Minghao! Get up! We're going out!" Jun yelled, pounding on the door to Minghao's room with his fists. "Come on, can't you hear me?! That's it, I'm coming in–"

"Jun? What are you doing here?" Minghao yawned as he sleepily ruffled his hair. He wasn't wearing a shirt. Jun cleared his throat awkwardly as he felt blood rush to his cheeks.

"Didn't you hear me? I said that we're going out," Jun replied. "Get ready, and be out in fifteen minutes."

"I'm going back to sleep," Minghao sighed.

Minghao turned around to trudge back to his bed, but Jun caught his arm before he could even attempt to walk away. Jun dragged Minghao to the closest bathroom, one that he assumed was Minghao's. He pushed Minghao inside the room before going in himself.

Once inside, Jun reached around Minghao and towards the shower. He turned the shower on, one hand still firmly grasping Minghao's arm while his body caged the younger boy's against the counter. Jun heard the other boy breathe in sharply, but he chose to ignore it, only giving Minghao a confused stare out of the corners of his eyes.

"Take a quick shower, and we'll get going. Don't worry about your clothes, I'll choose some for you. Don't take too long," Jun teased, slapping Minghao on the lower back before exiting the room. He heard a loud yelp from behind him, and he chuckled before going to pick out Minghao's clothes.

"Jun, where the hell are we?" Minghao asked as he looked at the bustling streets nervously.

"Samcheongdong. Come on, let's go get lunch," Jun said, grabbing Minghao's hand and pulling him along as he walked quickly across the street.

"What are we doing here? Why'd you take me here?" Minghao questioned as they walked on the sidewalk and looked for a good place to eat.

"Lots of people our age come here! Look, look over there. See? There's a bunch of other young people here too!" Jun replied, pointing at groups of teenagers and young adults walking around.

"They all seem to be couples though," Minghao spoke quietly.

"So? People come here with friends too. There's a group of friends over there. And over there," Jun said.

"I guess," Minghao mumbled.

"C'mon, let's go find a restaurant to eat at. I want Italian food," Jun grinned.

"Oh, I see an Italian restaurant," Minghao said. "Over there."

"Ah, I see it too now! C'mon, let's go!" Jun responded, slinging an arm around Minghao's shoulders as they walked to the restaurant.

"I'm so full," Jun groaned, smacking his stomach loudly as he and Minghao left the restaurant. "That was good."

"We should come here again," Minghao said. "We can bring our other friends too! It'll be so much fun!"

"Hmm, I don't know. I think I prefer hanging out with you alone," Jun smirked. Minghao scowled.

"Shut up," Minghao replied, but Jun was too distracted to care about what he was saying.

"Oh, look, Minghao! Those clothes are so nice! I'm going to go look at them. Wait a minute," Jun said, running inside the store in front of him eagerly.

The store was quite busy. People were coming into and going out of the shop constantly, but it wasn't too overcrowded. The constant chatter of the patrons was comforting to Jun, and he was pretty sure that he recognized the song that was playing in the background. Wasn't it a song by Big Bang? Jun hummed along under his breath as he looked through the different shirts on the rack in front of him.

"I didn't know how long you'd take, so I decided to just come in," Minghao said as he joined the older boy. "What are you even looking for?"

"What do you think of this, Haohao? Do you think it'd look okay on me?" Jun asked, holding a navy blue shirt with white designs on it on top of his body.

"Does anything ever look bad on you?" Minghao rolled his eyes, and Jun opened his mouth to tease him. "And no, I'm not flirting with you."

"Minghao, you can read minds? That's so cool!" Jun grinned. "What am I thinking now?"

"You know I can't read minds," Minghao scowled. "You're probably thinking that I'm not going to be able to guess what you're thinking though."

"Woah, that's so cool! You were right! You're awesome, Minghao!" Jun beamed, shooting him two thumbs up.

"No, I just know you too well. Unfortunately," Minghao sighed.

"Aw, I know you love me. Hey, this would look good on you," Jun said, taking a black leather jacket off of the rack. "Ooh, it even goes well with what you're wearing right now. Try it on!"

"I'm literally wearing the plainest outfit in existence right now," Minghao deadpanned as he gestured to his faded blue jeans and pink t-shirt, but he tried the jacket on anyways. Jun wolf-whistled.

"How are you still single?" Jun teased him, though he really was curious. How could someone as perfect as Minghao not be in a relationship?

"I will hit you," Minghao threatened.

"Not even five minutes with the leather jacket, and you're already acting like a bad boy," Jun joked. "Alright, alright. I'm totally buying that for you though. Ooh, and this!"

"Don't spend your money on me, Jun, come on," Minghao protested, but Jun had already made up his mind.

Jun took a final article of clothing, a white, long-sleeved shirt, off of the rack, and he held it up to Minghao's torso to make sure it would fit him. After confirming that it would, he walked towards the checkout counter with the shirt he had shown Minghao earlier that he wanted for himself, the leather jacket, and the shirt he had just picked out for Minghao.

"Hello, did you find everything to be okay?" the girl behind the counter asked.

"Yes, thank you. How much?" Jun replied.

"120,000 Won, please," the girl smiled politely. Jun counted out the bills and handed over the money.

"Jun, are you serious?!" Minghao hissed in his ear, but Jun just smiled innocently.

"Thank you for shopping here! Have a nice day!" the cashier said.

"You too," Jun responded, and he grabbed the bags and walked out of the clothes store.

"I cannot believe you just spent that much money on clothes. And you only got one thing for yourself!" Minghao exclaimed.

"Consider it an apology gift. I still feel bad about just leaving you when we were kids. This is my shitty way of making it up to you!" Jun grinned. "You better wear them though. You like them, right?"

"Jun...of course I do. You don't have to feel sorry though. It's been years, and we're with each other again, right? It's okay," Minghao told him.

"You made friends after I left, right? You weren't lonely?"

"Jun, I was fine." Minghao rolled his eyes. "I did make friends, but none of them were as annoying as you. I still keep in touch with a few of them, but it's nothing like how we are."

"I'm still sorry about leaving you," Jun said honestly. "I know I haven't even come close to making it up to you, but I'm going to keep trying for the rest of my life."

"Jun, you really don't have to. Everything's fine," Minghao replied. "How about this? You can buy me some ice cream right now, and we'll call it even."

"Minghao, it's not enou–"

"You just bought me two expensive pieces of clothing. Honestly, you shouldn't even have to buy me ice cream, but knowing you, you'll keep insisting until I go crazy. Just consider it even after this, okay? It's in the past, Jun, and now, I'm with you again. I'm happy," Minghao cut him off.

"Are you sure?" Jun worried, and Minghao sighed exasperatedly, grabbing Jun's empty right hand and holding it in his left hand.

"I'm happy," Minghao repeated firmly, and Jun felt wide smile breaking across his face.

"Let's go get ice cream then!" Jun said, swinging their joined hands energetically as they walked around in search for an ice cream shop.

A/N: I'm sorry that this is late and that it's basically just over 1,000 words of shit but today has just been so long and I'm so tired and my crush wore That Shirt today which is something that I simply cannot handle without exploding into a million pieces and dying you feel so yeah this piece of shit is coming to you from my grave

sorry again guys but tysm for your support as always and I'll keep trying to improve my updates. hope you guys have had/will have a wonderful day!!! ily guys!!! y'all are the best!!! linked song is "맨정신 (Sober)" by Big Bang!!! I always think that it's saying "I'm sober" in the chorus since the first syllable of the title ("") sounds like the Hindi word "Mein" so I think of it as if "정신" means sober and "" means something else. idk. anyone else like that? bye, guys!!! love you!!!
