"Mom, I'm going to go call Minghao," Jun said, getting up from his seat.

"Alright! Don't take too long though. Your grandfather should be coming home soon," Jun's mother replied. Jun nodded and dialed Minghao's number as he left the room. He leaned against a wall and waited for Minghao to pick up his call.

"Hey," Minghao greeted. "Did you reach your house safely?"

"Yeah," Jun responded. "What about you? Have you seen your parents yet?"

"Ah, they actually went out. I'll see them later," Minghao told him. "And you? Is your mom at home?"

"She is," Jun said, nodding slightly before realizing that Minghao couldn't see him.

"Why are you talking to me then? You should be spending time with her!" Minghao scolded.

"I missed you." Jun pouted. "I wanted to hear your voice."

"It's been less than a day since you last saw me, Jun," Minghao replied.

"You don't miss me?"

"Of course I miss you," Minghao responded. "Your family missed you too though. Go spend time with them."

"Fine," Jun agreed. "Bye, Hao. Text me if you get bored!"

"Bye, Jun. I'll talk to you later," Minghao told Jun before ending the call. Jun stared at Minghao's contact photo and sighed.

"Are you done with your call? Can I talk now?" a familiar voice asked, and Jun looked up.

"Grandpa!" Jun beamed and stuffed his phone in his pocket as he walked towards his grandfather. He embraced his grandfather warmly.

"How's my favorite grandson doing?" Jun's grandfather said, smiling brightly as he slapped Jun on the back.

"You shouldn't say that, Grandpa. Yang Yang may get upset," Jun joked.

"What he doesn't know won't hurt him," Jun's grandfather replied playfully, winking. Jun grinned.

"I missed you, old man," Jun sighed happily.

"Your life must've been boring without me, huh?" his grandfather teased. "But really, how's Korea been? Is university going well?"

"It is." Jun nodded.

"And what about your love life? Are you still single?" Jun's grandfather asked. Jun avoided the elderly man's eyes.

"I thought so," his grandpa sighed. "You really need to find someone already. You're not getting any younger, you know?"

"I know," Jun mumbled.

"How about I set up some blind dates for you?" his grandfather suggested. "You know, I met the daughter of Dolly Group a while back. She's extremely gorgeous, not to mention kind and talented too. Oh, she even plays piano like you! What do you say? Do you wanna meet her?"

"I'm not really interested, Grandpa," Jun muttered awkwardly.

"Ah, really?" Jun's grandfather frowned. "I understand. She might be a little too perfect for your taste. What about the heiress to Lei Xi Jewelry? Want me to introduce you to her?"

"No thanks. I'm fine, Grandpa," Jun said.

"You can't stay single forever, Jun. Even your sister is married with a kid," his grandfather told him. "You're not going to find anyone if you avoid meeting new people."

"Actually, Grandpa..." Jun hesitated. Should he just tell his grandfather the truth?

"What is it?" Screw it. If worst came to worst, he could just say it was a joke.

"I'm...I'm not really into girls," Jun blurted out.

"What?!" his grandfather exclaimed, and Jun held a finger over his mouth to shush him.

"You're gay?!" Jun's grandfather hissed, and Jun nodded shakily, afraid of how his grandpa would react. "Why didn't you tell me?!"

"Huh?" Jun blinked.

"You should've told me before! Do you know how ridiculous I feel for trying to set you up with those girls now?" his grandfather asked. "I always thought you liked girls because of that one actress you were good friends with!"

"Whom are you talking about?" Jun replied. He furrowed his eyebrows. "Guan Xiaotong?"

"Yeah, her!" Jun's grandfather said. "I always thought you were interested in her."

"Huh? No, she's, like, a year younger than me. She's like a sister to me," Jun responded. He frowned. Then again, Minghao was a year younger than him too. Wasn't Minghao younger than Xiaotong?

"Regardless, you should've told me sooner! I could've found some men for you to go on dates with!" his grandfather huffed before smiling. "Well, it's never too late, right? What type of guys do you like? I need to know so I can find some guys that are suitable for you."

"Grandpa..." Jun smiled weakly, starting to tear up.

"Hey, why are you crying?! Don't cry!" Jun's grandfather exclaimed worriedly as he wiped the tears off of Jun's cheeks.

"I—I'm just so thankful. Thank you for accepting me, Grandpa," Jun choked out between sobs. "I was so scared that you'd be disappointed in me..."

"What are you talking about? You could never disappoint me, Jun. As long as you're happy, I don't care who you love," his grandfather told him. He held out his arms for a hug. "Come here."

"Thank you," Jun murmured, drying his tears with his grandfather's shirt. "I love you."

"I love you too, Junhui," Jun's grandfather responded softly. "Now cheer up, okay? Everyone's going to think I made you cry."

"You did though," Jun muttered jokingly.

"Excuse me?!" his grandfather said. He pulled away from Jun. "Wow. Brat. See if I ever let you wipe your snot off on my clothes again. How many guys do you think are gonna be attracted to you when they see you and your snotty nose?"

"Wait, Grandpa, come back!"
