Socks POV:

It's been almost 2 days since me and Jooice left to go find Blaza. I woke up yesterday not being able to move as the cut on my chest got worse. But it's gotten better and we need to go make sure Blaza is ok. "Alright you sure your good socks?" Jooice asked packing up his things. "Yeah I'm better we should go try to find Blaza." I said packing up my stuff and picking up the axe. Jooice nodded as we walked out of the house we were staying in. We started walking through the streets, quietly killing zombies, and avoiding any big crowds of zombies.

We got closer to the base and we heard talking. We saw a group of armed people looting the remains of the camp. "Huh wonder what happened to this sucker here?" We heard one say looting a dead body of I assume Joel? "Socks I don't think we want trouble so we should just walk by." Jooice said as I hummed in agreement. "Let's go around" I whispered crouching and walking over to more cover. "Alright follow me" I said pointing him to move ahead as I joined him. We both continued moving through cover.

We made it into the woods continuing to walk silently through the path. "Alright let's hope Blaza went this way, and he isn't dead back there" I whispered to Jooice. Jooice nodded and we continued walking.

Laff POV:

I laid there on a tree branch. It was early morning and I was tired. Eating my small breakfast of a banana, water, and 3 pieces of beef jerky. I sighed as I looked at the sun rise. The last 2 days have been rather calm. Nadwe has been himself. Muffin still has stories. Oompa has been healing. Blaza has been a big help, and I've just been myself. So turns out socks and Jooice as still alive. Which is good.

I stretched as I walked back to the treehouse. Blaza was awake eating his breakfast. Nadwe, muffin, and Oompa are still asleep as I walked over to Blaza. "Morning mate" I said as Blaza looked over at me. "Morning laff, how was your sleep" Blaza said taking a bite out of his apple. "Same as always, not good but not bad either." I said as he nodded. "Yours?" He swallowed his apple. "Eh first sleep I've gotten in a while so it was good" Blaza said.

We both chatted for a while before I saw Blaza look over at the trees. "You alright mate?" I asked as he looked over to me. "No, I just miss everyone..." he said as I felt sadness grow over me. "Yeah same here mate." I replied with as we both sat in a moment of silence. After we sat there for a while until we heard footsteps and talking of two voices. "Shhhh Blaza mate...." I said grabbing my bow and walking over to the edge. Blaza slowly followed behind holding his gun. "What do you think it is?" Blaza asked. "I dunno Blaza mate, but we should be quiet." I said as I slowly climbed down into the bush. I waved Blaza to follow down with me. But as soon as he started climbing down he lost his grip and fell.

Jooice POV:

Me and socks continued walking through the woods, "socks I don't think they are here" I said as socks looked over at me. "Maybe Jooice, but we can't give up. Let's continue looking" he said continuing to walk. I sighed knowing that socks wasn't going to give up. I just hope that we dont end up being here for 5 hours or something. We continued walking and taking about stuff. Until I heard rustling in the trees. "Socks stop..... I think someone is watching us" I said as he pulled out his gun and aimed it at the trees, I did the same aswell. After a few minutes there was no noise. "Maybe it was a squirrel or something" socks said starting to lower his gun, as we heard a loud thud in the bushes. "Nope it's someone" I said approaching it holding my gun.

Blaza POV:

I started climbing down the tree and of course I fricking fell. I landed on my back. "Ouch...." I whispered as I looked at my gun that I landed on. Well this is dented. I left the gun in the bush. "Blaza you ok mate?" Laff whispered as I grabbed Joel's rifle, which landed beside me. "I think our cover is blown Blaza we are going to have to fight." Laff said loading an arrow into his bow.  I got ready to get up holding the rifle.

No one POV:

As socks and Jooice slowly approached guns ready both laff and blaza jumped up holding their weapons and they all aimed at eachother for a small second before realizing that they were all friends. "YOU GUYS ARE ALIVE!" Socks shouted hugging the both of them. "What are you guys doing here!?" Blaza asked shocked as Jooice walked over to the 3. "Socks had to come see if you were ok, and I couldn't just leave him behind." Jooice said as socks stopped the hug. "Now I would like to continue this moment, but can we find shelter? I don't want to get eaten by zombies" socks said as laff looked over at him. "Don't worry I got a place right here!" Laff said as he started climbing the tree.

Nadwe POV:

I slowly woke to voices and the tree house moving, "what's happening?" I whispered looking around hoping someone else is awake. I only saw muffin asleep, Oompa asleep, and laff helping socks climb up. Wait laff helping socks climb up? I sprung to my feet and walked over to help them. "Wait Nadwe is here?" Socks said as I grabbed his arm helping him up. "Yup on the day you guys got raided they ran here with and injured oompa, I saved them from some zombies and they have lived here." Laff said as I nodded. After socks got up we helped Jooice and blaza up. "Well this is certainly a nice place laff" Jooice said dusting off his pants. Laff looked over at the other British man. "Welp I had to find shelter and I found this abandoned, just needed some repairs." Laff said mentioning the out of place planks and logs. As everyone talked muffin and Oompa woke up and got to reunite with everyone.

Socks POV:

"Well are we going to stay here Jooice?" I asked him. "Well I g-" but before he could finish bullets came flying through the planks and logs. As I grabbed my gun and ran over to the edge it was the raiders from the camp and the let loose on bullets, luckily I ducked down missing the bullets. "LAFF WHAT DO WE DO?" Muffin shouted scared as more bullets went through the floor boards. "Alright mates! Jooice you and nadwe provide us cover fire once they reload and me socks and blaza will jump down and fight!" Laff said grabbing a big board of internet wood for cover. I loaded my gun as muffin moved Oompa to safety. As we all got into position.

No one POV:

As soon as the raiders ran out of bullets and starting reloading Nadwe and Jooice opened fire with arrows and gun shots. With that Blaza, socks, and laff jumped down using boards for cover as they started firing at the raiders. Multiple raiders were shot and got injured, some got shot and died. But they continued firing and attacking. As the boards socks, laff, and blaza were using for cover started to break they had to think of a plan. "Guys what do we do?" Blaza asked still shooting at the people. "I dunno Blaza-" but before laff could finish the sound of someone yelping and falling was heard. As nadwe was shot through the leg and up into the arm where the bullet got stuck. "NADWE!" Jooice shouted dropping his gun and running to his friend. "GUYS NADWE IS INJURED!" Jooice shouted as socks and laff looked at eachother. "Laff we gotta retreat!" Socks said as laff looked up. "Blaza go help Jooice and nadwe, go towards the base! Me and socks will distract them and run when we need too!" Laff said as Blaza nodded. Socks and laff continued shooting providing cover for Blaza.

Blaza POV:

I climbed up into the treehouse bullets flying through the floors and gun shot sounds everywhere. I saw Jooice picking up and unconscious and injured nadwe as I picked up his gun before loading a bag with and water very quickly. "Come on Jooice we gotta go!" I shouted as we start running seeing muffin and Oompa hiding. "We're leaving!" Jooice shouted as the 2 questioned but followed me having to help Oompa run be we ran through the forest as fast as we could. The gunshots got further and further as we ran further and further but we made it back to the old base, we got ready to fight and defend just in case if the raiders showed up before socks and laff.

Laff POV:

Me and socks continued holding off the raiders as they started reloading and walking back. "Alright socks we gotta break for it now!" I said as we both ran off into the woods firing some shots back to trick them we are still there. They fell for it and continued firing at the board of wood. We continued running and running before slowing down to catch our breath. "Well we escaped them..." socks said out of breath. "I had so much food and water I hope someone grabbed some..." I said taking a minute to breath. We stood there for a minute catching our breaths. "We should continue going" socks said as we both continued running to the old base. Where we saw Blaza and Jooice ready at the wall with guns but they lowered it once they saw us. "Alright mates grab your stuff we are leaving before they arrive!" I shouted as they grabbed Nadwe and Oompa and we all ran off.

No one POV:

The group walked through the city, looking for a new place to call home, they had to hurry as nadwe was bleeding and they didn't have much bandages to cover it. They found some bags on the road that had medical supplies, so they got Nadwe fully bandaged up. After 30 minutes of walking and avoiding zombies, the group found a new place to call home. A small diner that had shattered windows but now holes in walls and no zombies inside. "Well guys let's set up here for now." Socks said.

(A/N 1801 words it feels nice to write again, but damn I really liked this chapter and I hope you did too, also I'm considering writing a side story for this book while the main story happens. But yeah for now I hope you enjoyed this chapter and yeah I will see ya next time)
