Chapter 5

(Important Notice: Beware Of Grammatical Errors)

APOLLO

Oh no I'm doomed.

Those four words alarmed me. It shook my entire world into chaos. I was completely scared at the scene before me. Thoughts wrestled inside my mind. I was mess up so bad. I don't know what esle to avoid the flying object, which was about to make a hard collision on me.

I stood there. shocked, my heart beat raced extremely fast like it was an over speeding car, any minute it was about to crash on the wall of distress, as I couldn't breathe properly, while, my chest had rise and fall.

I have never seen a flying object in my whole life. Well, I'd read before tons of horror books about things floating peculiarly in the mid air and, things are getting pretty real. So fucking real.

When one of the broken lampshades went flying at my direction. Shit.

I closed my eyes, when the memories had flashed back inside my mind, the happy moments I spent with my auntie and the good times that we both shared together was all coming back at me .

I don't know if this was my tragic end here on earth or maybe this was my fate to die young in a disturbing way and much worst than I really thought it was.

My knees began to tremble like a wobble jelly, I could feel my hands are shaking, as I cried, while, I was covered by blankets of silence.

I prayed numerous times, hoping it will stop flying, and vanish in the air in front of me.

Please dissappear at once, and don't be hard on me.

I had to save my Aunt Jonah from the bad guys.

I had to protect the light kingdom away from the darkness.

Lastly, I had to do this alone because the world was depending on me.

My heart skipped a beat when I could feel a spirit of light inside of me, like it was about to unleash from its deep slumber. I could the brightness blinding vividly on my closed eyes.

I heard a soft noise along with a mild explosion like a colorful confetti, as I slowly opened my eyes, and that moment, I gasped in surprise.

The broken lampshade had dissappear magically in the air before me. Holy shit.

I breathe and I touched my chest, panting to hold some fresh air. I was clueless after what I've had done.

Did I have a power inside of me all along?

Why it came out of nowhere?

My thoughts was crumbled to dusts, when I heard the two guys talked in a furious tone.

"How did he do that?" The guy who wore eye glasses was stunned in amazement.

"I don't know, and I guess that was his hidden power or something," the blond guys replied.

"Anyway we must not lose the trace of him. We need to capture him before he goes to the light kingdom," the guy who wore eyeglasses said, while his eyes stared at me coldy.

His stares gave me chills. Hell, what are those guys anyway? Reapers?

"Let's get him." the blond guy demanded, he raised his hand, and began to control another broken lampshade, and it was floating above in the air.

I watched them marched their way towards at my direction. I took a deep a breath, and I started to run. Again.

Every minute was an adrenaline rush into my bloodstream. I pumped my shoulders, and I ran fast as I could. I was soaking wet since the heavy raindrops didn't stop from falling. I tried my best not to slip and fall down into ground. Though the street are full of water puddles.

I caught my breath in horror, when all the broken lampshades are starting to float above in the air, and they all went flying to my direction.

Apollo be brave. Conquer it without fear.

Those words come from my auntie gave me strength to face this madness.

I screamed at the top of my lungs, when a light bursted out from my chest. It went straight to all the broke lampshades, as it made a bright collision into the air, and it was a captivating sight, like a fountain of fireworks.

I was shocked, and at the same time, happy, because I used the spirit of light inside of me. If my Aunt Jonah could see this, she would be so proud of me.

I didn't waste another precious second and I tried to run far away from them, and in the end, I successfully did.

At the end of the street. Our house came into my view. A sign of victory curved on my lips.

Yes, bye losers.

- - -

I immediately locked the front door of our house. Luckily, I was the first one who managed to get inside. My hands are shaking when I slid the housekey inside in my side pocket. The bad guys wouldn't lay a finger on me. They wouldn't capture me.

No, I wouldn't let that happen, ever. They must try harder or maybe they just give up on chasing me already.

They were getting into my nerves and they are so much pain in the ass.

I grabbed the chance to climb up the stairs and headed straight to my bed room. Then I closed the door behind me, and I leaned my back against it.

I don't care if my entire body was soaking wet, what's important is that I found my way to escape from the bad guys, who were still following me at this moment.

No matter how lucky I am to run away from danger. My auntie was still abducted by them and I don't know what else to do to save her.

Tears trickled down to my eyes. I slowly bend down to my knees, as I sobbed nonstop in silence.

In my whole life, I'd never cried this hard before. I admit myself that I was weak and powerless, to the point that I was about to give up. I know it was hard for me to get separated from my parents since that traumatic incident, and the most hurtful thing is my beloved aunt was held captived by the bad guys.

I wanted to scream out the words in my chest, to release all the emotions what I've been feeling inside. I wanted to slap myself for being a coward to face the fear, especially the pitch darkness, in short, my mortal enemy.

I missed my auntie's touch on my skin, I missed her laughter and her life advices, even though I get pissed at her sometimes.

No matter who she is, I still love her always and forever. Perhaps, she was my beacon of light. She served as my guardian of light, when everytime I was lost in my pathway. She was always there to reach out a hand for me to stand up from my two feet.

In short, she was close to my heart, and I couldn't accept the fact she was captured by the bad guys.

She was my only hope to strengthen me up, and the sad truth is, she was no longer at my grasp. I couldn't feel her, as I felt so broken and wasted because of it.

I cried until there are no tears left to cry, I wanted to comfort myself with warmth, but my body was soaking wet, instead I was wrapped by the arms of sadness.

My thoughts were interrupted by the sudden noise from the first floor, the sounds of quick footsteps and the deep voices.

Deep voices. My eyes widened in surprise.

They were here inside the house. The bad guys found me. Again.

I wanted to congratulate them for being so clever on following me. Well, they must try to catch me if they could or maybe not in the millions of years.

They wished. I mentally rolled my eyes.

I noticed my side pocket was glowing brightly inside. Something had reminded me instantly. The palace key, which my auntie gave me.

I slid my hand inside and I got the palace key out from my side pocket. The brightness almost blinded my eyes.

I don't know why it's glowing. I stood up and held the palace key up into the air. Then I was surprised that the key could light up my entire bedroom.

Wow, talk about an awesome stuff.

My eyes landed to the tiny candle that sat quietly on top the side drawer.

It suddenly float itself up in the air. A sudden glow comes from it, as if it was evolving from its new form.

My heart stopped, when the tiny candle had become a bigger circle.

Holy shit. I couldn't believe it.

A spiral portal stood before me, it was spinning around, and it was also waiting for me to get inside.

I don't know where this portal leads to, as the excitement started to spread on my system.

Whoa. This thing is so unbelievable.

I heard the door was slammed open, and I turned around to see the two bad guys, who were still after me.

Their faces were in pure shock.

"No. He has the palace key." the guy wore eyeglasses exclaimed.

"And what's worst, he has finally activated the portal to the light kingdom," the blond guy added with a sigh.

I was startled to see them here in my bedroom, and I think the palace key's brightness might had led them here inside the house.

"Well, that's too bad," I began to tease them with an annoying smirk on my lips, "I might find a way to stop your evil plans and save the whole world from your filthy hands," I later added.

With that, they become pissed at my unexpected response.

Well. I don't care.

"Apollo, hand over to us the palace key, we will set you free safe and sound," the guy who wore eyeglasses calmly said, gesturing his hand at me.

I shook at him with a disbelief on my face.

"You wish," I simply replied.

"Well, we'll give you the hard way," the blond guy began to move his hands to get control of the objects inside my bed room.

Hey, those were my stuffs. They were really getting into my nerves.

Before the floating objects flew at my direction.

I took a deep breath, as I stepped inside the portal.

I glanced back at them for the last time.

"Peace out, assholes," I sticked out my tongue at their ridiculous faces before I finally enter the portal that leads to the light kingdom.
