It was a Sunday midnight and Manal was peacefully asleep in her room. Afan had left and his demise from her life made it boring, during his stay there he would always make her laugh with very silly jokes. She missed him allot and wishes to see him soon. The banging of the door was very troubling to Manal's ear, she was in deep sleep and thought as though it was a dream but little did she know that her door was being broken down. Cairo walked in and saw her sleeping on the bed, he hissed very loudly and yanked the Blanket of her body which made her awake immediately.

"Get up and pack your bags immediately" He said. She wasn't shocked, she knew he would chase her back to the cottage immediately Afan leaves. She politely got up and did as he had instructed, he had left for his room. After she finished parking her bags, she walked downstairs and to her amazement. Hadiza was also holding onto her luggage's. They were like almost 4 Bags lying on the floor.

"Aty Manal" Susu immediacy ran and hugged Manal tightly. This was the first time Susu was seeing Manal Since her stay in the house. Hadiza made sure she carried her daughter everywhere like a pet in other to avoid Manal.

"Susu come here, are you mad?" Hadiza yanked her off immediately from Manal. "Stay away from my daughter you witch!" Hadiza warned.

"What are you both still doing inside?" Cairo Asked as he walked down the stairs. "You both should go out now, we have no time to waste" Cairo said. Manal felt confused immediately, where were they going to?. And why was Cairo acting as though the house would catch fire if they remain in it even for a second. She thought while jacking her bag. She walked out along with the maid who was helping Hadiza park her bags. They all Ambulated outside and kept their bags in the bonnet of the car. Hadiza immediately sat in front of the car and crossed her legs majestically.

"Would you sit down!.. Stop acting like a big fool" Cairo immediately scolded Manal because she didn't enter into the car. She entered into the car and sat down close to Susu who immediately laid her head on Manals lap. She wondered where they were going to, but simply just relaxed. She knew they could not kill her, or was she wrong. Nah, they won't kill her.  Cairo drove very fast, from all angles you could tell he was very worried. All he wanted was to arrive at his destination on time. Manal on the other hand slept along with Susu and Hadiza through the 4 hours drive. They didn't even know they had arrived at their destination.

GAJAN, KING PALACE.
"You majesty you're welcome, Come on in" Manal could hear the voice of a man in her sleep. She opened her eyes slowly to find the big magnificent palace of GAJAN. Her mouth immediately dropped when she realized where she was.

"What are we doing here?" She mistakenly said aloud. Cairo parked in the parking lot and turned around to speak to her. "You are the reason why we are here, you idiot!" He said.

"Me?, what did I do?" She was shocked.

"You told Afan everything that goes on in the house, didn't you?. Now the King Father has requested I come back to the palace or else he'll destroy my life. Just because of a village girl like you" Cairo said Angrily. Hadiza heard his voice and immediately opened her eyes widely.

"What are we doing in GAJAN?" Came her first question to Cairo. He didn't respond but simply hopped out of the car angrily. "You all should come out, the king Father already knows we are here. Let's go before I receive another threat from him" Cairo opened the door and picked up Susu. He didn't fail to send Manal a very deadly glare. She looked away immediately.

They all got out of the car and Ambulated into the palace. Cairo's heartbeat accelerated with every step he took, it was as though he was entering into a cult room where he was certain his final judgement will earn him death. Oh, he wished he could turn around and runaway. This made him hate Manal even more, she was the reason why he was here. He remembered how he was sleeping peacefully when his grandfather, popularly known as the King Father called him and blasted his ear with all sort of insults and requesting that he returns to the palace if he didn't want to lose his company and get his reputation tarnished. He knew very well that the King Father who goes by the name ZARMAH KHALID could do anything he wanted. for he was also part of the rulers of the county alongside the president. His decisions follows suite.

They all entered into the palace and Hadiza'S jaw immediately dropped. It even looked more beautiful than the last time she saw it. She was lost in her trance when the king Father emerged from the big curtain that covered the stairs. Manal and Cairo who was holding onto Susu instantaneously knelt down, excluding Hadiza who was frantically celebrating her arrival into the palace. She was sure her life would change over here.

"Woman!... Don't you know how to greet?" Came his thunderous voice. Which was as loud as a trumpet. Hadiza immediately heard him and instantly knelt down.

"What a shame you are, you don't have respect Hadiza" He said. She was shocked he remembered her name. "Please get up Manal and Cairo" The king said and Manal and Cairo immediately got up, including Hadiza who was following suite.

"Did you hear me mention your name Hadiza?, or are you deaf or stupid?" The King Father said. Cairo formed a fist but there was nothing he could do but just watch the drama unfold. Hadiza immediately felt fear climb her spine. This man was one whom should not be toyed with. He looked nothing short of 70 summers. Yet he walks, looks and talks as though he was a man in his early forties.

"You are very disrespectful Hadiza and i hope you change. Because if you do not, staying in my palace will be hell for you" He said. From the way he spoke. Even a crying baby would keep shut out of fear of being hit across its face. This man before her, was a mighty lion that could break through any cage or chain he pleases.
