Part 25 | Thee Night

Lando kisses me harder and I grab his suit jacket and pull him inside my room. He kicks the door shut behind him and I begin to tug on his tie, then his suit jacket.

I grabbed my robe and slid it on before going towards the bathroom. "Where are you going?" Lando asked alert. Maybe he feared I would just leave? From my own room?

"Bathroom" I call out before closing the door after me. I do my business and clean up before exiting the bathroom only to see Lando getting dressed.

He had gotten his pants on, his shirt and jacket was missing. The sight made my heart drop in my chest.

"Are you leaving?" I ask him quietly, it was almost a whisper. "Yeah, I have an early workout tomorrow morning" Lando said and I felt disappointment hit me, though I felt my head nod to his words.

"Right" I said and began to look for some clothes to put on. "Hey-We don't want anyone to know what just happened do we?" Lando said and reached forward to grab my face.

"No" I said and Lando nodded. "Good, let's pretend like this never happened. No one can know" Lando said and I nodded my head once again to his words.

My heart never hurt this much. When Lando released my face without another word, I struggled with breathing properly.

I fought the tears pressing to be released. I kept calm for as long as it took Lando to get fully dressed.

Though I became impatient and grabbed his shirt and jacket and shoved it into his chest and opened the door for him.

He looked at me with a look I couldn't understand what meant, but he walked out and I slammed the door after him.

I locked it and slowly slid down the door. I felt like shit. This was a mistake.
