Atlas Grimes the older brother of Carl Grimes and the eldest son of the Grimes family. He had a whole bright future ahead of him as he was always on top of his class and he loved his family to pieces.

Till the summer of August 26, 2010 the whole world turned to shit before his eyes. People he knew that he was friends with either died from the Wildfire virus or from the Walker or just by the simple fact they couldn't handle the new world and just killed themselves.

If Atlas was honest about how he truly felt. He was scared, the only reason he put on a brave face was to give his brother Carl and his mother Lori some comfort. As he wasn't sure if his father Rick Grimes was still alive the last he saw him was in the hospital. It was the last time his best friend Shane Welsh saw him alive and claimed him to be dead.

But he knew he was lying, at least it was that strain of hope his father was alive somewhere. Give him hope to live.

For his father and for his family.

It was only hope and will to live in this pitiful world that he now had to call home.
