Age Six

"Daddy!" I shouted as I threw my small arms around his neck

"How was your first day princess?"  He smiled

"It was so fun! They have books about cupcakes!" I exclaimed as my dad took my hand

"Where are we going daddy?" I asked as we walked

"I have a surprise, put this on" He said as he handed me a sparkly pink blindfold

"What's this?" I asked as he tied it around my head

"A blindfold," He said and I just knew he was smiling

He picked me up and carried me

"I smell cake daddy!" I smiled

He placed me in a comfy chair and took the blindfold off

We were in a bakery and there was so many cakes and cookies and fudges on so many different racks

It was heaven

"Pick whatever you want princess" He smiled, his light blonde hair falling forward

"I want that one" I said pointing to a vanilla cake

"Good choice" The lady behind the counter said

I sat back down in the comfy chair and ate my cake

It was the best cake I've ever had

Age 14

"And that's the first time I came here" I said to Niall

"Wow, and you've been sharing such a special place with me for years" He gasped

"Well, you are special" I smiled

"You're not so bad yourself" He laughed

"Dad?" I gasped again

I couldn't believe it

He was standing in front of me

I reached up to touch his face

He was real, not just some dream that turns into a nightmare

Age 7

"Sweetie, why are you crying?" My mom whispered

"I had a bad dream mommy" I sobbed

"What happened baby?"

"Daddy c-came back and I touched him- he-he turned into a big monster" I cried

"It's just a dream" She cooed until I was fast asleep

"Hi princess" My dad whispered

He looked almost the same, just a few grey hairs and some wrinkles

I couldn't get anything out. All that came out of my tight throat was sobs

I couldn't believe it

Niall did this? For me?

My dad hugged me tightly and gave me a kiss on my head as I shook due to sobbing so hard

"Hey now, don't cry" My dad said

"I can't believe you're here!" I said as I pulled away

"You should thank your boyfriend" My dad laughed

"I'm not her bo-"

"You are now" I smiled at Niall who blushed

"Let's get you kids home, it's getting late" My dad said

My dad offered to drive and I sat in the backseat with Niall

"How did you find him?" I asked

"I'll tell you at home, okay?" Niall smiled

"Okay" I mumbled into his chest

"Mom!" I called and my dad's eyes lit up at her 'name'

"Yes Clair- Oh my god" She said as tears started to fill her eyes

"Linda" My dad cried

"Richard!" My mom shouted as she ran to him

They kissed and I cringed

"Haha, let's go upstairs" Niall smiled

"Okay" I beamed

I flopped onto my bed, next to Niall

"How did you find him?" I begged

"Well, during one of my concerts in America, I got a special visitor just for me and well, the rest is history" Niall smiled at me

"How did he know if you were the Niall I told him about?"

"He said in one letter you mentioned that I auditioned for the X Factor, and that my name was Niall, so that was all he really needed" Niall shrugged

"Do you know what happened to him? Like why he never came home?" I asked

"You're going to have to ask him yourself, because I have no idea"

"Well, thanks so much Niall. I love you" I said as I snuggled up to his chest

He rubbed my back as he murmured "I love you too"
