Y/n's P.O.V.

While we were the watching Rudolph, it was tempting to look back at Louis, but at the same time, I didn't want to look at those sad puppy dog eyes that made you want to give in and talk to him. Malina occasionally leaned in and asked if I was okay or not or if I needed anything. But, I told her I was just fine. After the movie ended, Louis turned off the tv, and that got all of our attention. "Who's ready for a game of three truths and a lie?" he asked. I wasn't ready at all. I was still feeling hurt after what I saw.

But, I felt Malina gently squeeze my hand reassuringly, and I decided to join the game. "Okay, who's gonna go first?" he asked. We all looked at each other, waiting for someone to volunteer, but it seemed like nobody wanted to. But, eventually, Dylan volunteered as the tension began to grow. "Okay, I watch Peppa Pig, I like sushi, and I have a crush on the girl sitting to my right," Dylan said. His truths and lie were easy to figure out. Dylan never liked to watch Peppa Pig, he liked to eat sushi, but my heart came to a screeching halt when he repeated that he had a crush on the girl to his right.

It wasn't me who he had a crush on. It was Malina. Everyone looked over at her, wondering what her reaction was going to be once she figured out it was her. he looked slightly confused as she continued to figure out which one was the lie. "Wait a minute. Dylan, is it true?" Malina asked, looking over at Dylan with surprise. He didn't say anything, just gave her a small nod. And Malina's eyes started to fill with tears of joy. "So, do you feel the same way?" Dylan asked after she was silent for a few minutes.

"Y-yes, I feel the same way about you, Dylan," She answered. Dylan started grinning from ear to ear, and they tightly embraced each other before leaning in for a passionate kiss. Me and the others started clapping and cheering for them. I was happy for my friend. But deep inside, I started to regret being so rude to Louis after he and Kitana kissed. If he and Kitana wanted to be a couple, I wasn't going to get in the way of that. I needed to talk to him but away from the others. After Malina and Dylan stopped kissing, we went back to the game and played a few more rounds.

I looked at the clock, and I saw that it was already 10:30 pm. "Alright, I think we should stop. Let's open our Secret Santa gifts!" Louis smiled. The others cheered in agreement, and we gathered around the Christmas tree and found the gifts that had our names on them. I was still looking for mine, but so far, I didn't have any luck. Louis was still looking for his gift, and I took the opportunity and gently tapped his shoulder, and he looked up at me with those big brown eyes.

"Hey, can we talk in private?" I asked, silently hoping that he would say yes. "Sure," He answered.
