Background - Gabby had a hard life growing up and Josh knew that, it was originally why he started to befriend her, wanting her to have a safe place she could escape to.

She was originally from Brazil but was adopted by people who shouldn't have been able to. Her life to about middle school was hard as she was alone before she met Josh.
