Okay, as a heads up this idea is based around the time when chapter 12 was released.

And it's also based on AnnaBanana813 's story, Fire Emblem Awakening - Call to the Wild! I strongly suggest anyone reading this reads it. It's amazing!!

Anna lives through the trials and attempts to preform the rite, only to learn she has dormant (Plegian) Luna blood in her veins (probably through Validar) and the rite just awakens it and she actually becomes a fully fledged Luna.

And maybe as a fun fact she didn't even have to do the trials because she had the dormant Luna blood? But she didn't know and did them anyways. (I can imagine a really annoyed Anna upon learning this, because she would be like "I didn't even have to do those trials?!")

But in the end it's still a big shocker

WAIT.

WHAT IF.. after the rite, she returns home to Validar and he talks about the luna and all that (somewhat) canon stuff.

(Like somewhere in the awakening game when it's revealed Validar is the Avatar's father? Somewhere in that time slot.)

But Anna kinda hates Validar (duh) so she leaves anyways.

Also I have no idea how canon the story is meant to be...
