Heyyy! Long time no see haha. I haven't updated here since April 23rd, sooooo, since school's almost out for summer, I've decided to try and think up some ideas for a new chapter. Still no ideas. But, for the sake of my readers, I'll try to think up the chapter along the way. Thank you all for being patient, and here is your new chapter!

(Lapis' POV)

So this is finally it. After the few months I've been with the Crystal Gems, they're finally going to stop the Cluster. So that begs the question, for myself...

Should I join them?

I don't want to. But I do. Should I? I don't know. There is great risk involved...

"Lazuli. Lazuli. Laaaaazuli."

My thoughts were interrupted by Peridot waving her hand in my face, saying my name.

"Hm? Oh. Sorry, Peridot. Did you ask me something?"

"Yes. Are you coming along?"

I have to decide now.

I guess I will come along. What's the worse that could happen?

"...yes. I'll come with you."

"Great! Alright! Let's go! I'm ready! Is everyone ready?"

Everyone nodded. This is gonna be fun...

(Peridot's POV)

*sigh*

She's coming along...

I don't know what could happen to us down there! I don't know what could happen to her down there... I don't want her getting hurt. I love Lapis, anything that hurts her hurts me. And I know she doesn't want me getting hurt, either.

How am I gonna keep her safe?

...

As we all stepped into the drill, Lapis looked... Worried. Like she knew something was gonna happen.

I don't want her feeling that way.

(Third Person)

Lapis had a terrible feeling something would go wrong. Peridot knew she had that feeling. She hated seeing Lapis so upset.

Peridot sat next to Lapis in the drill, so close that their shoulders were squished into each other.

Pearl called from the front of the drill, "Is everybody ready?"

Lapis and Peridot both whispered, "As ready as I'll ever be..."

The drill started, and they set off Underground. Lapis shifted in her seat, making Peridot squeak a little.

As much as Peridot wanted to say, "Don't be scared," she couldn't bring herself to do so. She managed to squeak out, "Everything will be fine, Lapis..."

Lapis looked down at Peridot. She sighed. She then leaned down and gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"Just make sure you're safe..."

Well that could've been better. Tell me if this was a good chapter, I still had no idea what to write in here XD, I hope you enjoyed it... Also, after this Friday, expect more frequent updates on all of my stories, because school's out for summer! So I'll have more time to update and stuff. Thank you for reading.
