(Steven's POV)

It was a few days after the argument, and some of us are still talking about it. Pearl still barely talks to Garnet, and she still looks terrified if Garnet ever gets near her.

It was kind of awkward. We were all just sitting in silence while Pearl and Garnet stood next to each other, each looking the other way.

I was going to just let this silence go on, but then I remembered something.

"OH! I HAVE A JAM SESSION WITH CONNIE RIGHT NOW!"

I got up from the sofa and ran around frantically, looking for my ukulele.

"Ooh, where's my ukulele, where's my ukulele???"

Amethyst chuckled.

Uh oh.

She's gonna do something.

(Pearl's POV)

I was still terrified of Garnet, but what made it even worse was that she wouldn't get away from me! I feel like if I move, she'll yell, if I talk, she'll yell, if I BLINK, she'll yell.

Maybe I was being a bit too dramatic there.

Suddenly, Steven screamed, making me jump. He said something about Connie, and started running around.

I thought nothing of it, until Amethyst chuckled with that, "I'm-totally-going-to-do-something-dirty-and-Pearl-can't-stop-me," grin.

Oh, but I know I can stop her.

"Wooow, Steven..."

No...

"You seem really excited to go 'hang out' with Connie..."

Noooo...

"Maybe Connie REALLY wants to make beautiful music with her little..."

NO.

"...tiny..."

NO!

"V-"

I ran in front of her as soon as possible, "AMETHYST, DON'T!"

"WHAT, violin, I was gonna say violin! Get your mind out of the gutter, Pearl!"

She started laughing and Steven looked incredibly uncomfortable.
He wiped some sweat off of his forehead, "U-Uh... I-I'm gonna... Go see Connie now!!!!!"

He ran out the house, screaming Connie's name. Amethyst kept laughing uncontrollably on the floor, while Peridot and Lapis just looked at her weirdly.

Peridot suddenly shot up straight, like a surge of electricity just passed through her.

"OH MY GOODNESS! We only have a few more days until The Cluster emerges!"

I looked at her and tilted my head, "Wait, how do you know?"

"Because I do! No time for questions! We have to leave soon or we'll have no time! When will Steven get back?"

Garnet spoke, for the first time in days, "Their jam sessions usually don't take long. Probably two or three minutes."

"Good! We have to leave as soon as we can. Get ready to go underground."

Ooooh, somewhat suspense!
