Time Skip
Trying not to have too much filler ;3 so I'm just gonna skip the apology...

(Steven's POV)

After I got Lars to apologize, we all sat down outside. Amethyst went to go play in the water and freak out a bunch of people, which I could see, since she kept shape-shifting into a shark and scaring people. She had to get Peridot to come in, too. It was a good 10 minute argument.

Lapis just sat next to me, while Garnet and Pearl were discussing something. The waves crashing down on the beach made it hard to hear, but I could slightly hear what they were saying.

"Garnet, we're wasting time! We have to destroy that thing!"

"Pearl, you need to calm down. We're going to have to destroy it eventually, so why now when it's eventually?"

I've never seen Garnet to so laid back before... She's usually all serious and ready to do things. But today... She's acting different. Maybe Ruby and Sapphire want to take a break from working?

I tune back in the conversation.

"Because, Garnet! 'Eventually' isn't soon enough!"

"Well then, why don't you tell 'eventually' to come sooner? Because you obviously can't handle the fact that it's, 'Not soon enough.' Pfft."

Garnet is being so cool today! And she just burned Pearl!!!

Pearl groaned and turned away from Garnet, "Fine. Then I'll just drill for The Cluster on my own if you do not care about the Earth as much as I do."

"Of course, I care about the Earth, Pearl! You're being hysterical."

"I'm NOT being hysterical! We're going to stop The Cluster NOW or I'll do it myself!"

Garnet stood up and clenched her fists, towering over Pearl. I was getting worried.

"Who made you the leader of the team? Not Rose, that's for sure! You don't give orders around here, I do!" This was when everyone started looking at Garnet and Pearl. Even the Amethyst and Peridot, who were far from us.

"Now, either you're going to follow orders, or you will face consequences! We can get to The Cluster later, right now, you are going to SIT on this beach and RELAX, because you have been too much of a pain to this team, and we are tired of your behavior!"

I was wondering why she said, "We," but then realized when she unfused. Both Ruby and Sapphire were steaming mad, but Sapphire still looked a bit more calm, and Ruby was literally steaming.

Ruby put a finger on Pearl's chest, "Do. I. Make. Myself. Clear?"

Pearl was literally terrified, and Amethyst and Peridot had their jaw dropped, while Lapis had just backed away.

Pearl just nodded, her body shaking, and ran into the house.
