The storms my area has been having

"Goodnight children, sweet dreams!" Toriel's sweet voice echoed through the dark house as Lancer and Ralsei crawled into their sleeping bags.
What a great sleepover it had been, eating Ralsei's cake, Lancer's Dark Candy, Toriel's pie and of course Susie's chalk but only she ate that, building a pillow fort, and of course watching movies! The only downside was Toriel telling them to go to bed so early.
Just as Lancer and Ralsei had settled in a deafening crack of thunder roared "AHHHH!!!" The boys screamed sitting up immediately, they stared at each other shaking uncontrollably Ralsei being the first to speak "what was that?!" He asked in distress "an intruder?!" Lancer suggested terrified prompting both of them to stare at the door in terror as a blinding light came and left.
After a few seconds another deafening crack of thunder made the boys scream once more as they scrambled into the pillow fort.
"it can't be an intruder otherwise they would have broken the door down by now!" Ralsei pointed out still terrified "then what else?" Lancer asked "I don't know!" The boys spoke as the blinding light went through the room again.
Suddenly another crack and more screaming
The boys practically jumped into each other's arms clinging to each other like their lives depended on it
Lancer felt tears run down his face not even sure when they had formed but didn't concentrate on it for long realising he was tightly imbedded in Ralsei's chest
He felt his cheeks heat up against the cold air of the pillow fort, butterflies in his stomach and his heart start to beat faster as another blinding light came and left the room
Another crack of thunder roared
Lancer's scream was muffled by Ralsei's clothes as he nuzzles further into his chest needing to be in one of the few places he felt safety and comfort letting tears fall down his cheeks as Ralsei wrapped his arms around Lancer screaming
The thunder hadn't returned in a while and the boys started to relax into each other
Lancer looked up at Ralsei as he looked down at him causing their eyes to meet, Lancer's cheeks heat more, the butterflies in his stomach flutter and his heart beat intensifies
Ralsei wipes Lancer's tears away "hey it's gonna be ok, I'm sure it will be over soon" Ralsei spoke in his normal sweet voice comfortingly
Lancer admired the fact Ralsei would be kind and caring in almost every situation
Lancer's cheeks heated more as he smiled "yeah.. it'll go away soon!" He spoke in his usual cheerful tone sniffling lightly

It didn't...

"Yawn... hey Kris do you think we should've warned Lancer and Ralsei about the thunder storm?" Susie asked in her rough voice walking down the stairs
Kris only shrugged
When Susie saw Lancer's sleeping bag empty she got a bit more nervous that she'd like to admit and looked in the kitchen cupboards for him til Kris called her over "did you find em?" Susie asked walking over but Kris shushed her before pointing into the pillow fort
There they were Lancer and Ralsei cuddled together peacefully sleeping in each other's arms
