Katie/Pidge Angst One - Prince Asshole

Some platonic/brotp Kidge - also slightly ooc Lotor \_(•~•)_/

Katie struggled to take a deep breath, she seemed to be hung somewhere by her wrists; her lungs felt squished inside her chest.

"You're awake." Lotor commented coldly. "I've learned quite a bit about you. You tend to mutter in your sleep. You have a friend called Matt. You miss home." He smiled, a cruel smirk that made his resting bitch face seem like nothing.

"Go away, prince asshole." She growled. Lotor frowned.

"Such hostility. I gave you to opportunity to surrender, you know. As I remember, you decided to keep fighting." Lotor gestured towards her. "It's a shame that it ended up like this, isn't it? You could've been part of the New Empire."

He smiled suddenly. "You can still be a part of the new empire. You're quite the fighter. No galra girl is like you."

"I'll never join you." Katie hissed. "I would never join someone like you. And I know my friends well enough to know that they'll never give in to you." The prince only smirked.

"But you're the strongest of your friends." Lotor noted, stepping within arm's reach of the green paladin.

"And that means I can kick your ass." Katie countered, swinging towards him feet-first. Lotor laughed and sidestepped her would-be attack.

"You were saying?" He smirked again and walked out. "I'll have you at my side soon." He called to her. The door hissed shut, leaving Katie alone, confused, cold, and tired.

When Katie woke up, the first thing that she noticed that her armor was gone. She was now in her simple, black, skin-tight under armour. The second thing she noticed was Keith and - to her surprise - her father and brother. They stood in front of her, a scowl on Keith's face and expressions of confusion on her family's.

"I'll make you a deal." Lotor's cold voice entered the room, though it was evident that he wasn't there with her. "If you join me and agree to my terms, then I will let you free one of these prisoners."

"I..." Katie looked at her family, her biological family and Keith, who had become like a second brother to her.

"Pidge, don't you d-" Keith was cut off by his own muffled grunts of pain as an electric shock was administered by his cuffs.

"I won't agree unless you free all of them." Katie said aloud after a few long moments of silence.

"That wasn't an option." Lotor's amusement was evident in his voice.

"Well, if you really want me, you have to free them." Katie said confidently. How her voice never wavered, she did not know. Inside, she was shaking, trying to find a way not to give in, but there was no way out other than to agree.

"You drive a hard bargain, princess. I accept." Guards walked into the room and began to escort the prisoners out.

"Wait! Can... Can I tell them something?" Katie asked, eyeing her father and brother.

"You should have listed that in your terms." Lotor laughed. "If you say anything about coming back for you, they will die. Choose your words wisely."

"Matt..." The short haired boy's head snapped up. He looked at her, studying her eyes with curiosity, then cold, hard realization.

"No... No! How?! Why?!" Tears were forming in his eyes.

"Keith can help you find your glasses. He knows where they are - probably on my bed still. I brought them with me." She smiled bitterly.

"Katie..." Sam trailed off. He took a deep, shaky breath. "I knew that you would do great things. I just didn't think... Wow."

"Keith?" The red paladin refused to make eye contact. "Keith, please!" He looked up at her, his jaw set forward in anger. "Take care of Green and Twenty-two penguins for me, okay?" He furrowed his brow, but said nothing.

"Alright, that's enough." Lotor commanded, and the guards dragged Matt, Sam and Keith away. Katie made a point not to cry or yell anything. She may have agreed to join Lotor, but for the short time she would be there, she wanted to be as non-responsive as possible. She wouldn't give in to him completely.

"What did she-" Matt started as they were loaded onto a ship.

"No. This vessel is most likely bugged, so don't ask me anything about her until we get to the castle." Keith closed his eyes and leaned back, glad that the galra ship had autopilot engaged.

"I... Okay."

{()}

Keith had to go to the control room to make sure Allura knew that they were back, and that Katie had made some sort of deal with Lotor for the sake of her friend and family's freedom. As soon as they stepped back into the red lion's hangar, Matt was rattling off questions. "What did she say her name was? Let me guess - Pidge Pistolkid?"

"Close enough."

"How many ships did she hack?"

"Uh, all the ones we came across?"

"How old was she when she came up here?"

"Fourteen, I think."

"Two years... Hey, wait. Did she have a laptop?"

"What do you think I'm looking for?" Keith sighed. He had spent the last few minutes rummaging through a table full of Katie's projects and gadgets.

"How did you-"

"Pidge told me once that she loved penguins. On a different occasion, she said her computer password was something to with her favorite animal. So when she said 'twenty-two penguins', I knew that it must have been the password."

"Solid deduction." Matt smiled. The two typed in every variation they could think of, starting with "22penguins", then "22Penguins", then "22_penguins". It took almost two hours to finally get the right password (which turned out to be "twenty2PeNguonz"). Keith grinned in excitement as the computer began to load her settings.

{()} Question - which do you guys like better? "{()}" Or "°•°"?

Katie rubbed her wrists, glad that she was finally standing on solid ground instead of hanging from the ceiling.

"Now, my princess..." Lotor grinned, stepping up from behind her. He grabbed her around the stomach and buried his nose in the crook of her neck. She inhaled sharply and tried to lean away.

"I'm... I'm not your princess." She said, all of her confidence gone. The cold reality of what she might have just agreed to was settling in. Lotor snickered and moved his hands down her abdomen and towards her thighs. Katie growled and kicked him in the crotch.

"Feeling feisty, eh? You agreed to my deal without even asking what you were agreeing to." The prince smiled cruelly and grabbed chin, forcing up so that she looked into his eyes. She glared at him, unable to say or do anything. "You agreed to be at my side. To join me - in marriage."

"What the fuck?!" She hissed, pulling away from him as he released her.

"Guards, take her to her room. A servant will join you shortly."

{()}

Katie collapsed on the bed in her new room. It was a very nice room, she had to admit. She had a huge, soft bed, a bathroom, a huge window that showed into space, and a dresser full of garments. But the bed only reminded her that it wasn't her own bed, the bathroom was too luxurious to be her own, the window only reminded her of how far away she was from home, and all of the garments were either uncomfortable, way too pink, or way to revealing. Often, they were all three.

She peeled off her under armour, which was sweaty and bloody - she had apparently been shot in the side, but it had nearly healed.

How long had she been there for that to have been possible?

Too long. Katie shook her head and pulled on a tight white sweater and a pair of white cargo pants. Then she found a pair of white boots. She usually didn't like white - it stained too easily - but she preferred it to the purple and pink colors of everything else.

About ten minutes after she got dressed in her new clothes, a servant walked in. She was in clothes similar to the prisoners, but they were nicer and looked more like a jumpsuit.

"What's your name?" Katie asked her after a moment. She shook her head and pulled out a kit of what appeared to be make-up.

"The Lord requests you to be properly made up and dressed for dinner." She whispered, ignoring the paladin's question.

"Can I wear this?" Katie asked, knowing already the answer. The servant shook her head.

"The Lord gave me an outfit for you." She help up a two piece silver and purple dress.

"I suppose I can wear that." Katie grumbled, taking off the clothes she had just put on. She threw them under the covers of her bed. "Please leave them."

"Of course, M'lady."

"Please, it's Katie." She urged as the pulled the dress on. It was much shorter than it looked and revealed more of her chest than she would have liked. The skirt part of the dress barely went past her ass and the top only covered her arms and upper chest. Her stomach and thighs were very vulnerable and cold. Katie shivered at the thought of Lotor seeing her in this.

"There is jewelry as well." The servant whispered, opening a box. Inside were two bracelets that looked remarkably like hand cuffs, and a neck cuff with a long chain attached to it. The green paladin's stomach did a backflip as she set eyes on them, but she put them all on anyway. She knew that angering the prince would be the last thing she wanted to do.

"Th-thank you." She muttered, knowing how much of a whore she must look like. The servant nodded, pushed her her long, black, braided hair behind her shoulder before walking out.

"Lord Lotor summons you." A guard grumbled, grabbing her arm. He walked her to a large dining room on the ship and left her standing in the doorway. After a moment, Lotor walked out and smiled at her.

"Hello, my love." He purred, grabbing her roughly by the shoulder. He led her into the room and sat her down in a chair at the end of a long table piled with alien food. She glared at him and folded her arms.

"What do you want with me?"

{()}

"Found it!" Keith cried, pumping his hands in the air.

"You did?!" Matt grinned and dashed over, staring at the plans for Lotor's ship. The red paladin pulled his helmet on and smiled.

"Shiro? Yeah. Set course for the Nalatine system. We're bringing her back."

{()}

"Well, you know Voltron's secrets. Every speck of information about the pilots." Lotor raised an eyebrow. "And you don't look too bad, for a human."

"Creep." Katie muttered, slumping back in her chair. Now she knew why Lotor wanted her to wear that slutty outfit. She glared at him and crossed her arms.

"Let's begin. You were the paladin of the green lion, yes?"

"I am the paladin of the green lion." Katie corrected.

"Not anymore. By agreeing to my deal, you also gave up the title of paladin. Now you're just a princess. My princess."

"All I am here is a prisoner." Katie held up her arms. "See these handcuffs? They may look pretty but I know what they are. And this fucking collar? That just screams prisoner."

"If you are so intent on being a martyr, then that's what you'll be. Go back to your quarters now. Guards, make sure she takes no detours." Lotor sat back in disgust.

Katie glowered at the guard who grabbed her hand. He grunted at her and practically pushed her to her room. When she was finally alone she changed back into the completely white outfit from before.

"When will my team come for me?" She groaned to herself, collapsing on the bed.

{()}

"We're almost there." Matt said, reading from a scanner that was displaying only Altean symbols.

"Can you read Altean?" Keith asked, looking over his shoulder. Matt shrugged.

"Languages have always come easy to me. Altean isn't that much harder than, oh, say, Greek?"

"You know Greek?"

"What do I look like - a fake fan?"

{()}

The ship shook and the sounds of explosions and pounding footsteps came through Katie's locked door. It was easy for her to access the control panel and start blowing up pieces of the ship. With any luck, Lotor would think Voltron had come.

"What do you think you're doing?" Lotor sneered, walking into the room suddenly. The door fell to the floor, the edges still red from where it had been cut.

"I'm leaving." Katie glared at him.

"You'll pay for this." Lotor grinned maniacally made a waving motion with his hand. A guard shoved someone into the room - someone with a mullet and tattered red and white armor.

"Keith?" Katie's eyes widened. "You lied! You had him this whole time?!"

"Not at all. I really did let him go. Unfortunately, he came back." Lotor tsked and walked around Keith in a circle.

"Don't hurt him - I'll do anything. Don't hurt my friends..." Katie looked down at the floor and sniffled. Before Lotor could say anything, Keith broke his arms away from each other, revealing a pair of sliced cuffs. He drew his Bayard and stabbed at Lotor.

"Don't you dare do anything like that again." Keith said as Lotor fell to the floor.

"I won't... I'm sorry."

"It's okay. Your brother's waiting for you, you know."

°•° Had a nice ending bc I'm not that mean °•°
