When I woke up to my alarm I got dressed and ready for the day. I met Kai and Andreas for breakfast and we talked for a bit before leaving for todays race.

I crossed paths with Jos and a cold stare was shared between us. No greetings or fake smiles.

"Keep your cool" Kai whispered and I tear my eyes away and focus on the Redbull garage.

"Let's gear up" I say and Andreas nods.

"Let's beat these amateurs" He says and I laugh before agreeing.

We separate and get dressed in our suits and put on my helmet.

Kai took a few pictures and filmed small clips for a TikTok video later.

"You got this" Kai told me and nodded at me as I got in the car. "I got this" I say confidently before Kai close the door for me and I take off.

Jos stayed in his lane. Nothing majorly.

I got 1st place and celebrated with the team when I got back from the track.

I hug everyone and Andreas came second so he was still happy.

"We did goooood" Andreas sings and we bump helmets before hugging.

It was our signature handshake. Bumping our helmets. Lame I know.

After taking my helmet off Kai hands me my phone and I text Lando.

Nathalie-Cute-Verstappen:
1st place thank you very much sir.

Lando-Cute-Norris:
Congrats! I made P2. I got podium!

I smile and type back a congratulations and snap a selfie and send it.

Lando-Cute-Norris:
I miss you. I miss those lips. I miss those cuddles and hugs. I miss everything.

I smile and send back a heart ❤️ and I miss you too.

Kai leads me to the conference and Andreas joins my side and we answer the questions.

"Nathalie, are you single? There has been some rumors going around and some pictures were posted the other day" A reporter asks and I smiled sheepishly.

"What pictures?" I ask slyly and Andreas starts laughing. "Show me!" I say panicked and the reporter hold his phone up.

Pictures of Lando and I at the airport, hugging, kissing and cozying up with each other.

But you couldn't completely see that it was Lando, but if you know him you can see it.

"Well..." I start and the crowd starts shouting more questions. "I might be dating someone, but nothing is official yet" I admit and nod at my answer.

"Is it Charles leclerc? Is he cheating on Charlotte?"
"What does Max says to that?"
"Is it an F1 driver?"
"Is it Lando Norris?"
"Are you over the leak of your past with Jos Verstappen?"

The questions are shouted at once and I struggle to see who asks what.

"Alright, alright. First No, not Charles Leclerc. Charlotte is a good friend of mine as is Charles. There's nothing there" I say and clear that up. I don't even get how they could ask that?

"Secondly, Max approved the guy, so he says nothing. He's happy for me" I say.

"And third, Max and I made a deal that I would never date any of his formula 1 mates. I'm keeping that promise" I say in attempt to throw them off.

"The past is the past guys. There's nothing to say" I say and smile. The reporters try to get more answers, but I decline them and get Andreas in the talk too.

Kai hands me a water bottle as we leave the conference room. I fist bump Andreas as we part ways and see multiple fans and crowds screaming at us.

I take a swig of the water bottle before going to them. "Hey guys!" I cheer and a few girls squeal.

They ask for pictures and autographs, which I give them. I pose and smile so brightly my cheeks started hurting.

"Are you together with Lando?" One asked me and I just winked at her and screamed and jumped up and down.

I laugh and get on with the crowd. "Nat, we need to go" Kai said and I nod.

"Nat! One last picture!" I pose and smile and then run up to Kai. "You love it, don't you?" Kai asks. "Without them I would be nothing" I say and get into the changing room.

I change into Lando's hoodie and adidas training pants and put on a cap. I let my long hair hang loosely.

We walk out of the changing room and I have my bag slung over my shoulder and I wave and smile at the fans.

"I recognise that hoodie!" A fan shouts in realisation. I get in the car and Kai sit in the passenger seat and I drive out.

I wave and laugh at the fans going crazy. "You're my favourite Verstappen!" A girl shouts and I stop the car in front of her and roll down the window. "Can I record that and play it for my brother on repeat?" I ask her and she laughs. I take a picture with her and sign her merchandise shirt with my driving number on it.

I take off and arrive at the hotel not long after. Kai and I get into my room and we agree for a workout. I change and go to the gym with Kai.

We work out and as I'm on the treadmill, my phone starts ringing.

I see Lando's face and name and I pick up.

"Hey" I say and slow my run down.

"Hey, so I heard a rumor" Lando says serious and I raise an eyebrow.

"What rumor?" I ask still running.

"A rumor that you don't date Formula 1 drivers..." Lando says teasingly and I chuckle.

"Well..." I say and Lando gasps.

"Nuh-uh. I'm not letting you go" Lando says in a sassy tone.

I laugh and Kai looks at me weirdly.

"Good. Cause I don't want you to. But in all seriousness, some pictures were taken of us last night, at the airport. They were leaked to the press and they started asking questions, so I just denied it and threw them off course" I say and Lando hums.

"So, you thought that you were being smart when you denied it, but walked out in my hoodie in front of everyone? You do realise that the social media is better than FBI to link things together, right?" Lando says in a duh tone and I laugh.

"I couldn't help it. I wanted to feel close to you" I say and pout.

"Aww, then it's okay. Blow our cover I don't care" Lando said and I laugh a little.

"I'm just not ready yet, I hope that's okay? It's just, we don't have an official title yet, so I didn't want to put anything out there" I say and I know Lando understands.

"Of course, it makes sense. As much as I want to show you off to the whole world, I want to take it at the speed you want. I know you'll let me know when you're ready for a title" Lando says and my heart warms.

"Thank you, really. You're being so cool about this even though I'm making you wait with a lot of things" I say and smile.

"Of course, I would do anything for you" Lando admits and I smirk.

"Anything?" I ask playfully.

"Fuck, I forgot you're a Verstappen. I take it back!"

"Nuh-uh, you can't!" I argue.

"Fuck it, what do you want?" Lando asks ready to please me.

"I will let you know next time I see you" I say playfully.

"You're hurting me" Lando whined and I laugh at his whine.

"I will talk to you later, alright? I'm in the middle of a workout and Kai is pissed that I'm talking to you instead" I say and laugh and Lando joins.

"Oh shit, give my hello and sorry to him" Lando says.

"I will, see you later" I say and Lando say goodbye and I hang up.

"Lando says hi and sorry for stealing my attention" I tell Kai and he scoffs.

"Oh alright, now that he says sorry" Kai said and smiled pleased.

I roll my eyes and laugh at him and continue our workout.
