After the dinner, Lando and I drove back to the hotel together. We knew we needed to have a proper talk and we were gonna take all the time we needed.

We now sat in my hotel room and played with each others fingers playfully. "I'm sorry I misunderstood last night. I was a little tipsy and my feelings were, well, I didn't know what was going on with this, us" Lando said and pulled me closer to him.

"It's okay, I used the wrong words to explain. We should've had this conversation a long time ago" I say and hug his side.

"So, now that we're alone and not angry, where are we with the whole dating thing?" Lando asks and I pull away and look at him softly.

I literally felt warmth and love when I looked into his beautiful eyes.

My smile slowly grew and I put my hand on his chest. "I think I want to do dates, the staying over, the whole couple-y stuff, that you do when you're dating. I want to be with you" I say and Lando's smile grows the size of mine.

"But I haven't done this before. I haven't had a boyfriend, only flings and flirts, nothing real. So, we have to take it slow, we're dating" I conclude and Lando nods eagerly.

"I agree, let's take things slow. I want to experience everything with you, I want to show you what having a boyfriend is like" Lando said with a wiggle of his eyebrows.

"Deal" I say and laugh at his comment.

The last days I spend with him and very little with Max. But I got to say goodbye when I had to fly back to my next rally race.

Lando drove me to the airport and we were now saying goodbye. He was at my gate too. "Lando. You have to go. I'm boarding now" I say between kisses, but Lando just whines and pull me closer and shut me up with his soft lips.

"God I can't get enough" I say and kiss him again. We pull apart to breathe and we smile at each other.

"I will come to you in two weeks time, our schedules line up there" Lando says and I nod.

"It will be a long two weeks" I mutter and Lando nods.

"I put my favorite hoodie in your bag" Lando grins and I smile. "Really?" I say and Lando nods with red cheeks.

"I love it, thank you" I say and kiss him again.

"Last call" Lando says and nods at the gate. I nod and hug him tightly. "I will miss you" I say and Lando caress my cheek.

"I will miss you too, babe" Lando says softly and kiss my forehead.

I smile and pull away, I grab my bag and wave goodbye to him and he waves back and waits till my flight takes off.

I was filled with warmth in my chest. I'm falling so hard for the guy and way too fast.

I sleep the entire trip and when I arrive in Finland I'm lead to the car Kai came in to pick me up.

I hugged him as he opened the door for me. "Good to see you again" I tell him and he smiles before closing the door after him.

"I heard some rumors" Kai begins and I raise an eyebrow.

"What rumors?" I ask. "You and Lando Norris" Kai says and wiggles his eyebrows.

I blush and say nothing. "So, is it true?" Kai asks. "Maybe" I say and Kai let out a girlish scream in excitement.

"Yes girl!!!" Kai screams and the chauffeur look back annoyed at Kai and he shuts up immediately and I laugh.

"Is there any news of the drivers and the race, that I need to know?" I ask.

Kai shows me his iPad. "You father has been given four last races and then he retires. But it's forced. The last race is in New Zealand" Kai tells me and I nod.

"It's Finland, Belgium, Greece and then New Zealand" Kai says and I nod. "Alright, okay" I say and take in the information.

It meant Jos is going to give me hell.

"I'll be ready for hell then" I say and Kai nods. "Other than that, there's nothing new" Kai says and I nod.

We arrive at the hotel and I unpack and go to dinner with Kai before trying to go to sleep early.

I slid Lando's hoodie on and I inhaled the scent and my heart fluttered with happiness.

It smelled just like him. I hugged myself and bit my lip as I pressed the call button on his number.

I rang and I held my phone to my ear.

"Hey" Lando's hoarse voice said as he answered.

"Shit, did I wake you?" I ask and realize the time difference.

"Yes, but it's fine. How was your day?" Lando asks sleepily and yawn.

"It was good, Kai and I caught up here in Finland. How was your day?" I ask.

"It was boring, we did quali and I came third, so that part was good, but after it was just dead" Lando said with a small laugh.

I smiled and bit my lip. "Can you guess what I'm wearing?" I ask childishly.

"Hmmm, nothing?" Lando says suddenly sounding more awake.

"No, almost. I'm wearing your hoodie, which by the way, you can forget about getting back. It's mine now" I say stating facts and Lando laughs.

"You're adorable. I will get you all the hoodies you want" Lando says and I smile widely.

So, widely I was glad he couldn't see me.

"That sounds like a plan Mr. Norris" I say and laugh.

"Good, is there any news in the drivers?" Lando asks carefully and I knew he wanted to know about my father.

I had already called Max earlier to let him know the situation.

"Yeah, he's being forced to retire. He has four races left" I say and the line goes quiet.

"I don't like it" Lando admits and I frown.

"Me neither, but I'm ready for whatever he brings upon me" I say and nod assuringly to myself.

"I know. You're strong enough to handle him, I'm just worried he'll wear you out, he has some serious dirty tricks. I watched a few videos of his past rally races, they're brutal" Lando says with a wince.

"Yeah, I know. But I really think it's going to be okay, he's not stupid, it's just been announced, so he won't do anything on the first race after the news is out. He won't do anything on his last race either, so that leaves two races at risk" I say and Lando hums.

"True. I'll try to be there as much as I can. I promise" Lando says and I smile once again.

"You're so sweet, I'll try to be there for your races too" I say and Lando cheers.

"Now, you should go to sleep. I don't know what time it is where you are, but you got a race tomorrow" I say and Lando chuckles.

"So do you, Miss Verstappen" Lando mocks.

"But it's only nine in the evening. It's in the middle of the night with you" I say stating facts and Lando laughs.

"Alright, true. I'm getting up in five hours" Lando says and I wince.

"I'm so sorry. I'll go now. I just want to wish you good luck, not that you need it, because you're an amazing driver" I say and laugh.

"Thanks Nat. You too, crush them" Lando says and I smile.

"I will try. Talk to you tomorrow" I say and Lando repeats before saying goodnight and hang up.

I go to bed being fully comfortable. I wore Lando's hoodie.

I fell asleep with a smile on my face.
