John's POV

"You've just gotta relax, stop worrying," I dismiss, waving my arms.

"Easy for you to say," Alex mumbles, hugging his knees and resting his head on them.

"Yeah, yeah it is," I snort, and Alex giggles before hitting me around the head with my pillow.

We were both on my bed, me and my best friends ,who had randomly come to me in the middle of the night, very panicked on how to kiss. Of course me being the obvious player that I am, I agreed to help him, but there's not a lot to help in, it's a kiss.

"You just have to kiss them, just go for it," I explain best I could. Really I'm not the best person to talk about this but whatever.

"Don't over think it, you have to-" I'm cut off by a pair of lips on mine.

I let out a small sound of surprise, and he pulls away very quickly. HIs face flushes a bright red and he fiddles nervously with his fingers, avoiding my eyes.

"Like that?" He mumbles.

I'm frozen, I can't seem to move. I feel my cheeks heat up slightly.

"Yeah, yeah exactly like that," I whisper, dazed.

I had always I suppose had a tiny, maybe crush on my best friend, and now he had just kissed me. 

I blink slightly, and he giggles nervously.

Leaning slightly towards him, my lips meet his again, and I slowly reach my hand up and cup his cheek. It was soft and gentle, because I wanted to savour this moment. Especially if i goes downhill after.

After we do pull away we're silent for a second before I murmur "Well,"

We burst into slightly nervous giggles.
