You
The final thing I saw before the final cry of the chaos was my son's smiling face.
He looked absolutely at peace.
Nozel POV
"So the stories about you and your siblings. Are they true?"
Nordicis frowned. "Yes. Over the centuries, I've grown hungry for my ultimate revenge. The stories never mentioned, but I had silver hair much like you, and striking blue eyes. But as you can tell, that's not the case anymore."
He raised his arms. "Goodbye, Cardia as you know it."
A huge hurricane of wind and ice scattered around the lands, encasing it in his cold winter grip.
Tashiko POV
Aunt Noelle had captured all of us into her Sea Dragon's cradle. It protected us from the hurricane of ice and snow.
"What are we going to do?" Patoli whispered beside me.
I hugged my cousin. "Don't worry, my Daddy will protect us! Not to mention that your Daddy's anti-magic will deflect any and all spells!"
"That's right," Uncle Fuegeleon said.
It was obvious that he was putting up a facade to take our minds off the situation.
"We're going to stay here in this boat," Noelle said.
We were all out on sea with her sea dragon's cradle surrounding the huge mass of land that the captain of the Blue Rose Knights, Sol, had brought. Everyone was working hard to keep us safe.
Amore was currently handing out food and supplies that someone brought over with spacial magic.
I moved Patoli aside and ran up to her.
"Amore! Where's Noble?"
She looked around, panic suddenly overflowing her. "Isn't he with you?"
"No!"
Amore took a deep breath. "Tashiko, stay right here. Don't go anywhere unless I know about it."
I could sense her panic. She ran over to a man named Finral.
"You must go back! My brother...I don't know where he is!"
Amore ran back over to me. "Tashiko! Search the area! We cannot let anyone leave unless he isn't found!"
"Noble! Noble, where are you?"
Aunt Noelle got up, worry in her eyes. "He was with us as we got out of the capital! I had him behind me! Patoli, Acier!"
The twins ran up to their mother.
"Was Noble in front of you or near you?" She demanded.
The pair shook their heads, eyes wide.
Amore ran fingers through her hair.
"We must go get him!" Finral shouted. "I will go get him!"
Amore stared at the spacial mage. "Find my brother and come back. Alive."
He gave the Magic Knights gesture and opened a portal, leaving the floating area.
I went up to Amore. It was clear that everyone treated her like a leader.
"Of all days," she seethed. "Why did it have to be today? I didn't even get to practice my new magic with lessons! If I did, maybe I could've protected him..."
I hugged my sister. "Don't. It's not your fault, Am. Finral will bring Noble home and that monster will go away."
She had tears in her purple eyes. "How can you be so sure, Tashiko?"
"Because it has to be."
Reader POV
You were with your group, aiming spell after spell.
You tried to do Total Time Reverse, but you couldn't. Nordicis had stopped you before you could activate it.
Not to mention that your future self had warned you before she left that you would never be able to use it again.
"Mommy!!!!"
You turned around quickly and saw your youngest running towards you.
"Noble! What are you doing here??" You flew down with your water wings and captured him in your arms, putting a spell around that would block off any and all spells aimed to harm.
"I came to fight!" He grinned.
"Noble, are you foolish! You shouldn't have run from the others!"
Nozel flew into the dome, with shock in his eyes. "Noble! We told you to go with the others! You can't fight-"
"I can!!" He held up a book and it was just like Asta's...
"How did you get that!?"
He opened the book. The four-year-old became a partial devil just like Asta. "As I was running, a devil called to me. He said he could help us win."
"Absolutely not!" Nozel and I both shouted. "You are far too young!"
He ignored us and deactivated the shield and a flurry of icicles hit us.
"Shit!" Nozel moved in front of Noble but the silver-haired child flew into the sky.
"Don't hurt my Daddy's kingdom!!"He shouted. A huge sword, far too big for him, came out of the grimoire. "Black Meteorite!!"
"That's my magic!" Asta choked. "Noble, don't! He's far too powerful! Back down! NOW!"
3rd POV
Some day that a black beacon flew into the sky, followed by a blue, silver and another black beacon.
Nordicis howled in pain on the impact of the spell.
Noble Silva's sword had struck him deep within the heart.
Retaliating, Nordicis aimed an icicle spear at the boy and struct.
The boy fell from the sky, his anti-magic now gone and his partial devil form also gone.
"NOBLE!!" (y/n) quickly flew to her son who was bleeding in his center.
Nozel roared with fury for his son. A huge hurricane of mercury countered the hurricane of the winter spirit.
From the sea, everyone saw the mercury hurricane. Everyone knew immediately something happened.
The Wizard King only used Mercury Hurricane when he absolutely had to. The last time he used it was the final battle between the devil Megicula and The Dark Triad.
Nozel POV
"HOW DARE YOU!" I seethed. Another powerful blast of Mercury Hurricane hit Nordicis.
"I understand your pain, but it's been ten centuries! Your family has already gone!"
Three soft glows emitted around me in the sky as I flew down towards (y/n) and my poor son.
One glow was yellow, one was green, and one was orange.
"Noble!" The winter hurricane had stopped.
"Daddy?" Noble coughed.
Blood seeped faster through his clothes.
"I can't do anything! My magic...it's not working?!!" (y/n) beside me frantically tried healing spell after hearing spell to try and stop what was coming for our youngest son.
Death.
"Mommy? I'm tired..." Noble's wounds bled faster.
"Don't talk now," I pleaded him.
A recovery mage tried to help, but it wasn't working.
"Mommy...I'm tired," Noble repeated. "Daddy? Can you tell me something?"
I held his hand to my face, tears streaming down my face. "Save your strength, son."
"Daddy? Who is that woman? She looks like the picture of Grandmother Acier..." Noble reached towards the gray sky.
"Noble, don't you dare!" (y/n) held his other hand.
"I know you said I wasn't old enough for a grimoire yet...but I fear I never will be. I love you, Mommy and Daddy."
With one final sigh, his eyes closed forever and he took his last breath.
"Noble! Noble!! Don't leave!!!"
"He will be safe with us,"
I knew those two voices. Licht and Mother Acier.
A gently glow emitted around us and was gone.
"Bye-bye! See you soon."
The voice of Noble hushed in our ears.
A gentle breeze picked up and...everything was gone.
Except for the monster who murdered my son.
