Reader POV

As I quietly held Noble in my arms, I stared at the morning sky with a vacant expression.

Ever since Nozel and the others informed me of the unfortunate situation and that I was no longer able to have children and the fact that Noble was about to die, I felt so...empty.

"Mommy?" Tashiko, who was now five, held onto my royal blue dress with a silver band. 

I looked down. "What is it, Tashiko?"

He tried to scramble onto my lap, but I refused him. "Let me sit on your lap!"

"Noble is sitting on my lap right now,"

Seeing his disappointment, I sighed. "If you want, we can go out to town. Just the two of us,"

He brightened up at this. "Okay!"

I smiled at my middle child. Getting out of the castle grounds was a magnificent idea, especially with Nozel gone and dealing with foreign affairs.

Guards constantly were on the lookout for anything suspicious.

Amore ran into the room with her friend Charla, Yami Sukehiro and Charlotte Roseli's (I ship them, no hating on me!:D) daughter who was the same age as Amore.

"Mom! Guess what!" The little (h/c)-haired child looked at me with large purple eyes. "Charla and I found this cool geode when we were there for school in the Northern Clover Mountains!"

I smiled at them, feeling a bit better. "Can I see it?"

Charla produced it with glimmering brown eyes. "See? My dad says that its a rare find, found once only seven hundred years!"

"That is true," you confirmed. "Charla, I'm not sure if your mother ever told you, but her and a group of our friends would play in those mines. We weren't supposed to, but..."

"What? Mom broke the rules??" Charla and Amore shared a smirk. "I can't wait to rub it in her face!"

"Oh, Lord. Char is going to kill me..." I sweatdropped.

Dressed in his finest, Tashiko and I walked around the royal capital, marveling at everything.

I suddenly had an idea. "Tashiko, why don't we bring you and your siblings and some friends to Silva Manor?"

"The place where Daddy, Uncle Solid, Aunt Nebra, and Aunt Noelle grew up?" His huge purple eyes got big. "Yes!"

"You know, you were a little baby when you went there last time and Noble hasn't ever been there," I squeezed his gloved hand. "But in the meantime, why don't I bring you to Novorono Manor?"

Watching Tashiko run ahead of me on the pathway to Novochrono Manor, you saw Marx and Noelle talking.

"Auntie Noelle!!!" Tashiko ran up to his aunt who scooped him up. 

Noelle held him and kissed his cheek. "Well, if it isn't my favorite nephew."

"What are you guys doing here?" I stared at the two.

Marx had a haunted look on his pale features. "(y/n), I believe I must inform you of what is going on. We were about to call you up to gain access to the Novochrono Manor."

Noelle and you shared a look. "Come, Tashiko. You and I must catch up! I want to hear all about your water magic,"

"No! Mommy said she would spend the day with me!"

"Mommy has to do important work for the kingdom," Noelle explained as she carried a protesting Tashiko away.

I placed my hand on the Novochrono Manor's gates. Only those with the blood of Novochrono could get into the house since your father's great-grandfather placed the spell long ago, unless they had someone from the house with a guest.

Marx was amazed at the security systems. "Wow, Julius never told me about this,"

"Figures," I laughed. "In fact, I think the only reason why you know of my existence is that I often snuck into the castle. Dad is a private person. Speaking of which, do you know where he is?"

Marx shrugged. "Even if I knew, which I don't, I am not at liberty to tell you where he is. I think he wants to explore more before coming back to reclaim his title if he even wants to."

"Fair point." I opened the double doors and was greeted by the smell and senses of home. The place where I grew up.

"Thank you." Marx went to the big family portrait and summoned a spear.

"Hey, what are you doing??" I glared at him.

"(y/n), we are in a safe house right now. No one knows what is about to happen." Marx leaned close to you. "You see the necklace that was painted on your mother's neck?"

I saw the necklace. It was a green clover gemstone. 

"That is not a painting, (y/n). Your father has entrusted me with the details of the Infinity Necklace."

"The Infinity Necklace," I mused. "Nozel told me about that,"

"I bet he has," Marx pointed to a set of spades in the foreground. "Hidden in this picture are the four gemstones to the Infinity Necklace. Secre Swallowtail has given me a magical item to break them from their magical painting without making a spot and keeping the painting's contents still there."

"The spear."

"Yes," Marx said. "I'm going to touch it to each gemstone and they will come out, except for the silver heart."

"My necklace?" I touched the necklace.

Marx nodded. "Yes. Your father entrusted that to you without telling you all these years. Thank you for keeping it"

He touched the painting three times and the green clover, royal blue spade, and the pink diamond came out. He then touched my necklace and from its hold minimalized in the locket, emerged the silver heart. "Thank you, (y/n)."

"What are you going to do with it?" I questioned.

The blue-haired mage stared at me with all seriousness. "Secre Swallowtail and your father knew this day would happen. We are going to call on its power to reverse time so you can be perfectly healthy again."

"Wait..." my mind was spinning. "Does this mean...?"

Marx gave you a kind smile. "Yes. You will able to use magic again, along with your body being alright. You will also be able to have children again and your magic will increase."

"Did Dad encase some magic of his own into the gems?" I questioned.

"Yes, otherwise if we used its power to reverse time, there would be a horrible curse."

"Why are you all just thinking of this now?" I asked. 

"I was reading about it and after consulting others, we all decided that should the kingdom really be in war with the Spades Kingdom- even with our allies the Diamond Kingdom and Queen River's kingdom, that is still not enough. You need to be able to protect us here should everything else fail."
