DD went to the hotel where the party was going on.

DD: mujhe pata karna hi hoga kal ke baare mein... Yaha pe kisi na kisi ko to pata hoga bhabhi ke baare mein.

He went to the receptionist.

DD: hey! Mujhe is party ke guest ke baare mein kuch puchna tha... (Showing his police ID)

Receptionist: sure sir (smiling) please naam batayiye..

DD: avni khanna...

Receptionist searched.

Receptionist: sorry sir is naam se koi nahi hai..

DD: (thinking) avni naam se nahi hai to... (To receptionist) ananya verma

Receptionist again checked and nodded in no.

DD: kya aap mujhe CCTV footage dikha sakti hai? Poolside ki?

Receptionist: sorry sir poolside pe koi cameras nahi hai...

DD hits his fist on the table.

DD: (to himself) ab lagta hai kal subah police headquarters jaa ke hi pata karna padega.

He reached hotel.

DD: ek baar neil bhai ko check kar leta hoon...

He was about to go in his room but found the lights off.

DD: lagta hai so rahe hai... Disturb nhi karta...

He went to his room.

Next morning;

The sun shone brightly waking up all the sleeping birds.

It's rays entered the room. our love birds were sleeping close to each other.

Neil layed on his side placing his hand on avni's waist.

His face was hidden in the crook of her neck making his each and every breathe tickle her.

Avni woke up to sharp pain in her head.

She opened her eyes in slits to look the surroundings she looked at neil and smiled lightly.

Avni: (to herself) kitna pyara sapna hai tum mere paas ho Neil...

Suddenly, The happenings of last night dawned on her, she was shocked.

Avni: (sitting upright) oh no... (Looking at herself)

she was only wearing Neil's black shirt while Neil lays shirtless.

She looked around the room it was all messed up. Their clothes were scattered all around.

Tears began building in her eyes.

She looked at Neil who had a content smile on his face.

She recalled Neil's words from last night.

Neil: tum gayab nahi huyi.. Iska matlab yeh sab..... yeh sab Sach hai! (happy)

Neil: Avni... Main bata nahi sakta main kitna khush hoon... I missed you so much ... i Missed you... (Hugging her tight)

Neil: Avni.....Ab tum aagyi ho na.. please mujhe chhod ke kahi mat jana... (Teary eyed)

Neil: pata hai jab bhi tum aati ho.. saansein aur dhadakein dono aa jati hai.. jab bhi tum jati ho... dil ki dhadkan bhi chali jati hai... (sobbing) mere jeene ko dil nahi karta avni...(cupping her face) aisa lagta hai laash hoon main ... (his voice cracked) sirf laash...

Avni looked at Neil with tears in eyes. She recalls his other words.

Neil: Ruk jao na avni mere paas...
(agony)

Neil: avni.. kuch ek pal ke liye tum mere saamne aati ho phir gayab ho jati ho.. please yeh pal mujhe mere hisaab se jeene do..

Avni caressed his hair.

Neil: ittuu sha to pal hota hai jab tumhare kareeb hone ka ehsaas is dil mein hota hai.. yeh pal mere hisaab se jee lo please.... (Crying)

Avni's tears were flowing down her cheeks.

Avni: (caressing his hair) aaj tum mere itne paas ho par hum kareeb nahi hai Neil... Itne dino baad tumhe dekha hai... Jee chahta hai dekhte hi rahu... Tumhe diye har ghaav ko bharna chahti hoon Neil... Agar neela maa...

She recalled vidyut and the footage.

Avni: (sweating) nahi... Nahi... Main nahi hone doongi... I'm sorry Neil... Chaahate huye bhi main tumhare saath nahi reh sakti... I'm sorry.

She bit her lip stopping her sobbing.

She removed his hand carefully not disturbing his sleep.

Avni stood on her feet gathering her clothes and limped towards the washroom.

After setting herself she went towards the door looking at Neil.

Avni: (to herself) pata nahi jab Neil uthega to kaise react karega...

She went towards him and slightly kissed his forehead.

Tears fell on his cheek. He stirred in sleep.

Avni hurriedly went away locking the door behind.

She reached sukoon house and was bombarded with questions by sirat but she went to her room without even bothering to answer her. Sirat was confused at her response.

After some time, Neil woke up rubbing his temple.

Neil: kitni der baad aisi sukoon ki nind aayi (small smile)

He looked around and found himself in out if his clothes.

Neil: (shocked) yeh sab...

He saw flashes of himself getting close to avni...

Neil: avni... (Opening his eyes)

Since he was more drunk than avni all he could recall was his getting close to some girl.

He tried stressing himself and reached a conclusion.

Neil: nahi... Main aisa nahi kar sakta... Maine avni ko kal kareeb se dekha par avni....

He just moved the duvet aside.

He was shocked to find blood stains on the bedsheet.

Neil: nahi.... (Getting up from the bed hastily) main avni ko dhoka nahi de sakta... Maine.... Kal... Kal kisi ke saath... Nahi main.... Main avni ko dhoka nahi de sakta.

He found an earring laying on the bed.

Neil: (wiping his sweat) pata nahi kon thi woh... Main... Nahi... Mujhe.... Main yaha se jaa raha hoon... Ab ek pal bhi nahi reh sakta main yaha... Nahi...

He was scared that he cheated on his avni.

He was scared that he might have hurt someone under the influence of alcohol.

His hands were sweating badly and he was shivering.

He took his bag and went towards the door.

DD saw him with a bag.

DD: neil bhai...

Neil: please DD mujhe yaha nahi rehna hai... Main... Main wapis ja raha hoon...

All DD could do was nod and agree to him.

He was trying hard to be normal but still his conscience was reminding him of last night again and again.

Soon They reached mumbai.

Neil straightaway went to his room.

Bebe shweta and prakash were confused at his behavior.

Shweta: Neil ko kya hua hai DD?

DD: pata nahi mata ji aaj subah achanak hi kehte ki wapis jana hai... Kuch bataya bhi nahi...

All shrugged.

Neil locked his room door and took out a big box. He sat on the floor and opened it.

He took out few of his avni's photos.

As Neil took out the photos he was sobbing.

Neil: (caressing her photo) avni... I'm sorry.. Mujhe nahi pata kal kaise aur main kiske saath tha par... Main tumhe dhoka nahi dena chahta tha... Please avni... Mujhe maaf kardo.. (Wiping his tears) i promise main aaj ke baad kabhi drink nahi karunga... Kabhi nahi... Bas tum mujhse naraz mat hona please... (Tears streaming)

He leaned onto the bed and slept sitting on the floor only.

Other side in kashid.

Avni stood by the window and was in deep thought looking at the sky.

Avni: pata nahi Neil kaisa hoga? Main kaise pata karu? (Sighs)

She took out his photo and caressed it.

Avni: mujhe maaf kardo Neil aaj chahte huye bhi main tumhare saamne nahi aa sakti.... (Wiping her tears)

In the hall sirat and samar sitting.

Sirat: neilanjana aa gyi tu... (Smiles)

Avni just nods and sits beside samar.

Samar: Neilanjana dekho tumhe mumbai jana hi hoga...

Avni: lekin main..

Sirat: dekh tu janti hai ki kashid jaise chote shehar mein baccho ko unki jayaz opportunity nahi mil sakti... Tu bhi to yahi hai na sab baccho ko unki life ka best mile..

Avni understood that it was important for the kids.

Avni: accha theek hai main kal hi mumbai jaungi aur sab arrangements dekh lungi aur agar possible hua to hum agle week shift kar jayenge..

Sirat smiled at her friend.

Samar: aur main bhi tere saath hi chalunga...

Avni: nahi Samar tu yahi baccho ke paas rehna..

She leaves for her room.

That night Neil avoided dinner and never stepped out of his room.

Shweta and other family members were afraid of his behavior. But they let it go... As there was nothing else they could do...

DD was in dilemma as if he should tell about his spotting avni Or no.

The night was a misery for all.

But somewhere in the darkest place a figure is seen moving into a dimly lit room.

His lips are shown with a smirk.

He goes towards the window and gazed the sky...
