I was sleeping soundly when I heard thunder I rolled onto my opposite side and Laid awake remembering the nights as a trainee staying up training and studying for my school and the army. I let out  a sigh and heard movement like they were trying to be quiet. I faced the person moving and noticed it was lafayette getting in his bed.

I was trying to be quiet when I walked into the tent and laid down. I noticed (Y/N) looking at me. The moonlight glow made her eyes shine the blue eyes and hair she looked as if she was glowing, she was the most gorgeous women I had ever met. Had this woman stolen my heart?

I noticed that he was staring right at me. My arms were under my head so I decided to close my eyes to sleep when I heard his soft voice ask me,"Me amour are you awake?" I opened my eyes and let out a quiet soft reply,"Yes." "Did I wake you?" "No I couldn't sleep because of the wind and thunder." I heard him shift like he was moving,"Want to join me?" My eyes widened at his reply. I got up and moved next to him he was warm. I went straight from freezing to warm. He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me closer I fell asleep in his embrace. When I woke up I was still in his arms,"Awwww she slept with him!" I heard laurens squeal but I just opened my eyes fully and pretend that I was shock to see lafayette with me and me in his arms. "YOU WOKE HER YOU DUNCE?" I looked at lafayette who was still sleeping he had loosened his grip so I could sit up. I smiled at him but that smile quickly faded into a sad look,"Whats wrong (Y/N)?" I looked at him and gave them a face smile,"Nothing I guess im still pretty tired." I got up and smiled at lafayette once again,"(Y/N) (L/N)! I've got a letter and a package and some books for ya!" I walked outside and he handed me the things. I walked back into the tent and read the letter and smiled and gave a little chuckle. When I opened the box I saw a flower crown with a dress under it I smiled and pulled it out and looked at it. My eyes widened and my heart stopped for a mere second and dropped as I noticed another letter with a stamp of death. I held the tears back as I read it and bite my lip and set the dress down and noticed that lafayette woke up,"SO what's it say?"  I looked at him,"Nothing...." I looked at it and set it down alone with everything else. I stood up and left the tent without a word,"Morning." It was washington whatever crap he had for me I didn't want so I faced him. He didn't stop me he just let me go. I kept my head down.
