I was practicing my swordsmanship just for safety when I heard a group of men laughing at me,"Look guys she uses a sword!" I set my sword down and pulled my pistol and shot the target once head shot!"Miss (Y/N) Washington wants to promote you from trainee to soldier." I turned around to see a short young man,"OK?" he was a genger,"you'll be in my tent, with mulligan, lafayette, and hamilton please follow me." he was a nervous wreck." I followed him to the tent to see everyone on their beds. before we had left I changed,"So your (Y/N)?" I nodded my heart was yearning to state im not here to flirt but i kept my mouth shut with a sweat smile,"and this is-" I stopped paying attention as soon as my eyes had fallen onto this light brown skin maned with his brown curly hair pulled into a pony tail/ bun,"Umm bonjour?"

"hi.." we stared at eachother for some time he was adorable,"And I see your eyes have fallen onto our frenchman?" they laughed at me,"Well i've never really met anyone else outside of the training camp." I smirked,"Mind showing us what they taught you?" I nodded and pulled my sword out with a slash,"Keep your stances. balance is the key. right foot left foot." I moved myself and pretended it was my father the dummy I showed them so hard that I had to stop myself on realizing something,"So whats your key?"    "Pretend its my father." I took a drink,"WHY!" "If you were me you'd kill yourself but instead I found my way into this." I looked up to see the guilt in Lafayette's face I quickly stood up," I umm forgot something- Pardon but i forgot my translator!" I lied it was in my bag back at the tent my life was such a painful thing,"Hello mam'ma!" I ignored him. I hugged myself and clenched my arms and my face as the tears rolled down,"SIX YEARS!" I shouted to myself as i plopped down onto my bed,"SIX YEARS! faking my own death!" I looked up and heard footsteps I hide my face into my hands as my breathing was unsteady I tried to calm down as the truth was painful to me,"Me amour?" Lafayette hugged me,"What's wrong my'lady tell us?" it was mulligan I remembered the hanging tree as my brother was thought of a witch and my parents demons and torched five years ago and me still alive,"I-my-hung-torched." I tried to get the words out but it refused I yearned  for friends but I always pushed them away no matter how hard i tried,"My family five years ago my brother was hung for something he didn't do, three years ago my mother torched as she was claimed to be a demon, my father a w-week ago beaten till death.." Lafayette's grip tightened around me,"We had no Idea.." "No did no one knew of my past until know." everyone left us to,"Im here for you.." His words soothing and calming I rested my head on his chest as he whipped my tears away,"Your probably tired from today?" I nodded and I layed down and pulled him close to me he didn't hesitate in these movements neither did I he was warm and smelled sweet he was so close to me and i didnt want him to leave me ever....
