Marinette giggled as her knight pulled her towards the slide. "Adrien," she begged. "Wait! You might be 5, but I'm still 4." Adrien slowed down for his princess, but just a little. "Mari, we have to look after our kingdom." He said, breaking his grip on her hand and climbing onto the slide. Marinette tucked her wings behind her as she followed her knight onto the slide. Unfortunately, his chauffeur chose that moment to arrive to pick him up. "Can't I play with Mari bit more?" He begged the imposing woman who had gotten out of the car. Marinette titled her head in confusion. Was that Adrien's mommy? He didn't talk about his mommy often, just about how much her mommy reminded him of his. This woman was tall and had blue-black hair with a red streak pulled into a tight bun. "You have a photo shoot remember?" She asked the boy with ragged blonde hair and green eyes. "But it's my birthday!" He wined. "And I wanna play with Marinette!" Adrien added, pointing towards the girl in pink jeans and a white t-shirt. "No." She said firmly, dragging and forcing him into the car. Adrien waved goodbye to his Ladybug Princess. He wouldn't see her again for a very long time.
