FIVE ━━ winter soldier.
࿔·ﾟ*ೃ࿐ ࿔* a killer's blood

          𝓞n the rooftop, Agent Sitwell screamed as he gets kicked from the back by Kaileena Stark. He falls on the ground and rolls, grunting.

"Tell me about Zola's algorithm." Kaileena demanded, stepping closer to Jasper Sitwell. Sitwell stood up and looked at the person infront of him with fear in his eyes as he put on his glasses.

Sitwell steps back as Kaileena steps forward, "Never heard of it."

"What were you doing on the Lemurian Star?" She asked, still walking towards him as he backed away with fear. Kaileena was in charge of the interrogating, it was supposed to be Steve but he's done enough.

"I was throwing up. I get seasick," He gasps as his body hits the end of the rooftop, his upper body starts to fall down but Steve grabs his jacket and pulls Sitwell closer to him. Sitwell looks at Steve, clearly intimidated by him but tries to hide it. "Is this little display meant to insinuate that you're gonna throw me off the roof? Because it's really not your style, Rogers."

Steve narrowed his eyes at him as Nat, who was behind him, was waiting for his signal, "You're right." Steve confesses, letting go of Sitwell's jacket and smoothing it out. "It's not." Sitwell smiles in relief, thankful that he wasn't going to die today.

"It's hers." Steve said as he moved away, revealing Nat who lifted her leg and pushed Sitwell off the rooftop. He screamed as he fell while the trio was totally unbothered by the fact that he was falling to his death.

Nat lifted her finger, "Oh, wait. What about that girl from Accounting, Laura . . ." She snapped her fingers, trying to find the correct word.

Kaileena looked at Nat and pursed her lips, "Lillian. Lip piercing, right?"

"Yeah, she's cute."

Steve placed his hands in his pockets, "Yeah, I'm not ready for that."

Sitwell's screams grew louder when Sam, with retractable wings, held onto the back of his jacket and lifted him up in the sky. Sam threw him on the ground and landed a few feet away. His wings folded and went away as he turned around to face the trio who started to walk towards him and Sitwell.

"Nice wings, birdie." Kaileena said to Sam who sighed.

"Falcon." He corrected, folding his arms.

Sitwell stood on his four's and held his hand up in the trio's direction to stop them from touching him, "Zola's algorithm is a program" He paused, "for choosing insight's targets."

"What targets?"

"You!"

Kaileena dramatically placed her hand on her chest as if he had just hurt her feelings and her mouth went agape in fake shock.

"A TV anchor in Cairo, the Under Secretary of Defence, a high school Valedictorian in Iowa City, Bruce Banner, Stephen Strange, anyone who's a threat to HYDRA." Sitwell moved his arm around as he explained. "Now, or in the future."

Steve furrowed his eyebrows, "In the future? How could it know?"

Sitwell glanced at Steve and started laughing which confused all four of them, after he finished laughing he looked back at Steve. "How could it not?" He sneered and stood up, "The 21st century is a digital book. Zola taught HYDRA how to read it. Your bank records, medical histories, voting patterns, emails, phone calls, your damn SAT scores!" Sitwell exclaimed.

The internet had everything you could ask for, Kaileena had googled herself a few times in the past. It had all her information, her birthday and age, where she lived, where she went to school, there were even pictures and videos of her that she didn't know existed. The internet was a scary place.

"Zola's algorithm evaluates people's past to predict their future."

"And what then?"

Sitwell started to realize something as he looked down at the ground, "Oh, my God. Pierce is gonna kill me." He muttered to himself.

Kaileena walked closer to him and showed her orange eyes, "If you don't tell us, I'll kill you." She threatened in a voice that scared even Sam.

Sitwell gulped as he tried not to totally break under the Stark's murderous stare, "Then the insight helicarriers scratch people off the list. A few million at a time." He told them, looking at a pair of glowing orange eyes in the eye as he just told them HYDRA's secret.

          𝓣he three of them were now in a car, Sam was in the driver's seat with Steve in the passenger seat. Kaileena, Nat, and Sitwell were chilling in the back seat.

"HYDRA doesn't like leaks." Sitwell told them.

"Then why don't you try sticking a cork in it?" Sam said sarcastically. Nat leaned forward in her seat and looked at Steve.

"Insight's launching in 16 hours. We're cutting it a little bit close here." She told the two boys in the front seats. Kaileena was on her phone, as always, and was scrolling through Twitter. She was looking at memes that people made of Tony, it was truly entertaining.

Steve looked out of the window, "I know. We'll use him to bypass the DNA scans and access the helicarriers directly." He stated which made Sitwell look at him as if he were crazy.

"What? Are you crazy?"

"Probably," said Kaileena which made Steve, Nat, and Sitwell look at her.

Sitwell shook his head at the Stark and looked back at Steve before continuing where he left off before Kaileena cut him off. "That is a terrible, terrible idea." He couldn't say anything else as a loud thud came from on top of the car which made all of them look up.

The window glass broke as a metal arm grabbed Sitwell's throat and threw him out of the car and to the other side of the road where he got run over by a large truck. Kaileena widened her eyes and backed away from the broken window and closer to Nat.

The guy went on top of the car as Nat went over to Steve and went on his lap, quickly moving his head to avoid getting hit by the bullet. Kaileena quickly went invisible and got out of the car through the broken window and on the roof of the car.

Sam looked at the back seat to see no Kaileena which made him extremely confused, "Where the hell did Kaileena go?!" He asked in panic but no one answered him.

The man didn't see Kaileena since she was invisible so she took this as the perfect time to tackle him while she was still not visible to his eye or anyone's eye for that matter. The man rolled over to see no one on top of him, just as Kaileena was about to extract her claws and become visible again, the car stopped which made both the man and a now visible Kaileena fly forward.

The three people in the car widened their eyes when Kaileena appeared out of thin air, Sam obviously wasn't aware of the fact that Kaileena can go invisible.

Kaileena, being half cat, landed on her feet just as the man placed his metal arm on the ground to prevent him from landing on his ass and making a fool out of himself. His metal fingers rubbed against the ground as it made a horrible screeching sound which hurt Kaileena's earbuds.

She stood infront of the car with her knees bent as she positioned her body in a fighting stance, her claws and sharp fangs were out as her eyes glowed a bright orange.

The man slowly stood up and lifted his head to face all four of them, he had a mask that covered his mouth and eyes which Kaileena thought was funny. He looked like a bug, especially because of his mask shape. He stood in the middle of the road in all of his evil glory with his cool metal arm.

Nat took out her gun and was about to shoot when a car crashed behind them which broke the back window and made Nat drop the gun. Kaileena got out of the way when the car started to drive forward to prevent getting run over, that would be such a boring death. Getting run over by a car, she wanted her death to be epic, not lame.

The man flipped and held the top of the car, his feet landing on the trunk as he broke the glass. The car was still moving as Kaileena ran beside it, the man broke the windshield and took the steering wheel right off with no difficulty.

He went and jumped to land on the car that crashed with Sam's but before he could step on it, he got tackled down and fell to the ground. Kaileena landed on top of him and took out her gun to shoot him but he grabbed it with his metal arm and flipped them around.

This position was meant for another situation, definitely not right now.

The man placed his metal arm around her throat, choking her. She gasped for air as she tried to pry his hand off of her neck but he was too strong. Instead, she flicked her free hand which made her claws come out and scratch his human arm. He hissed in pain and loosened his grip on her throat which she used as an advantage and kicked him off of her.

Steve, Nat, and Sam were cuddled up together as they laid on the car door which was scraping against the ground.

The man stood up and took out his gun, shooting Kaileena in the leg as she groaned in pain and fell down on the ground. The door to the car that hit Sam opened and gave the man a gun when he went towards him. He took it and aimed it at Steve and Nat before shooting, Steve saw it coming and pushed Nat out of the way, using his shield to protect himself. The bullet hit his shield and made Steve fly back from the impact, landing in a bus.

The men with the metal-armed guy started shooting at Nat and Sam who quickly hid behind cars. Kaileena went invisible to avoid getting shot again and forced herself to get the bullet out of her, she cried out in pain as she placed her fingers in the wound and took the bullet out. Not even a second later, her wound started closing as it healed.

She sighed in relief that the pain was gone and sprinted behind a car that was closest to the metal-armed man and his buddies. She went behind one of the men and placed her claws inside of his back and to the heart as he yelled out in pain which caught the attention of the rest of his buddies but not the metal-armed man since he was too busy shooting at Nat.

Kaileena ripped the guy's heart out as he and his no longer beating heart dropped dead on the ground, the men looked at their dead soldier in shock and fear. They started shooting everywhere to try and find the person who killed the man, Kaileena just smirked as she saw them trying to hit her not knowing that she couldn't be hit by anything when she was invisible.

She took the dead guy's gun and started shooting at the men who then dropped dead on the ground. Kaileena revealed herself and looked at the metal-armed guy who was now sat on the ground with a crack on his eye mask.

She started to walk towards him cautiously as he took off his eye mask, Kaileena squinted her eyes at him when he looked to the ground at the dead bodies around him. He slowly lifted his head to look at Kaileena, she stopped in her tracks and gasped when they met eye contact.

It only took one look at his eyes to recognize who he was. There she was, staring at a pair of cold blue eyes that she knew all too well with her mouth parted slightly.

James.

She could swear that he had a hint of recognition in his eyes as he stared at her. Does he remember her?

When James looked into this "stranger's" eyes, he felt something twitch in his brain. Like he was fighting something but he didn't exactly know what. He recognized the girl infront of him but he didn't know why. He titled his head slightly, studying her like he needed to remember her.

James snapped out of his trance when she took one step forward towards him, she slowly knelt down to be face-to-face with him. She couldn't believe it, he was actually here and alive. Probably the worst time to have a reunion but she didn't complain. "James..." She whispered, staring at him with what he thinks is shock and... love in her eyes?

Hearing her say his name made him feel something in his stomach, was it butterflies- No, it couldn't be. Why would a cold, heartless killer feel something for some girl he doesn't even know?

Kaileena watched as her former HYDRA mate's eyes darkened and she internally groaned. She quickly turned invisible again before he could attack her and shoot her once again, she did not want to get shot twice in a day.

James furrowed his eyebrows and looked around for her, was he hallucinating? He shook it off and stood up, shooting down to where Nat was hiding.

Fortunately for her, Nat was able to run away unharmed but James wasn't finished with her, "Она у меня. Найти его." He said to the new men behind him that arrived when Kaileena went away, one of them nodded as a response. [Translation: I have her. Find him.]

James jumped off the bridge and landed on a car, the glass broke and the car had a large bent where he stood. He didn't care about it though. He walked over it without a care in the world.

Kaileena went to look for Steve when she started to get dizzy. Her brain was hurting and she had no idea why, it was like someone was melting her brain. She groaned in pain and clutched her head, the pain was starting to get worse as slowly falling to the ground.

She forced herself to look behind her, one of the soldiers was pointing some type of gun at her, it wasn't a normal regular gun that shot bullets- No, it was something else. She could see a fain type of energy coming out of the bullet hole, she assumed that's the cause of the pain in her head. She grunted as she stood back up and walked to the man who was causing the aching pain in her brain, Kaileena kicked his stomach hard which made the man drop the weapon and step a few steps back with his hand clutching the part where she kicked him.

Kaileena took the gun from the ground and aimed it at him but she got tackled by someone behind her. The man who tackled her got off of her and aimed a regular gun at her head, Kaileena stood up and touched her lip. It was bleeding, she smirked and placed her thumb, which had blood on it, in her mouth and sucking it. The two soldiers looked at her weirdly but Kaileena didn't give a fuck as she looked at the both of them and smirked.

She saw how the fight was unfair, 2 v 1- not fair at all, considering the fact that she was a woman but no one should ever underestimate a woman of battle. The two soldiers pointed their guns at her, both of them holding straight faces. They were trying to look intimidating but Kaileena wasn't intimidated one bit, she thought they were pathetic.

Kaileena pouted, "Это нечестно. Двое из вас против одного из меня, не крутые парни." she said in Russian knowing that they wouldn't speak in English. [Translation: This is unfair. Two of you against one of me, not cool guys.]

"Нам все равно. Вы собираетесь идти вниз." One of the soldiers spoke up, obviously thinking that they'll win the totally unfair fight. [Translation: We don't care. You're going down.]

Kaileena just smirked in response, amused by HYDRA's cockiness. They always did think they were the best. Oh, how wrong they are. "Посмотрим об этом. Хорошо, мальчики?" she said before charging at them. [Translation: Let's see about that. Shall we, boys?]

They immediately started shooting at her but seemed to always miss since Kaileena would just make the part they shoot at invisible so it just goes right past her and she wouldn't get shot. She went to the guy who tackled her to the ground first, he pointed two guns at her and kept shooting. She slid down to the ground and swiped her leg under his legs which made him fall down on the ground on his ass, the other man was busy melting her brain from behind which made it harder for her to fight.

Kaileena snatched the gun away from him, groaning in pain from her brain hurting. She really needed to eliminate him quickly. The Stark was about to shoot but before she could, someone shot her shoulder which made her scream. The man who was melting her brain took the back of her jacket and threw her on the ground a few meters away, she closed her eyes from the pain but forced them open.

There was no way in hell she was going to get defeated by a bunch of men.

She looked up to see triple the number of soldiers, there were now six of them. "О, круто." she groaned out in Russian. Could this day get any worse? She thought. [Translation: Oh, great.]

She lifted her legs and hips, using it as an advantage and jumping up with the help of her hands to lift her up easier. She landed on a fighting pose, ignoring the not-as-much-painful wound on her shoulder. She took a deep breath and tilted her head, looking at the soldiers who were pointing their guns at her.

She sighed heavily, "This is even more unfair, what the hell." she huffed in English before rolling her shoulders back, getting ready to shift. "Ты просил об этом." [Translation: You asked for it.]

Kaileena crouched down to the ground, kneeling as she put her hand on the hard ground and her head was facing down. The soldiers around her glanced at one another in confusion, they didn't know what the hell this girl was doing. Suddenly an orange and black fog surrounded her, the soldiers looked at it in panic.

All of them- maybe even the whole city heard a loud roar, the fog went away to reveal a large tiger, bigger than the average size. The creature growled at them as it looked at all six of them, she was studying them. In both fear and panic, the soldiers started to shoot at the ginormous tiger. Kaileena took this time to charge at each and every one of them.

Kaileena ripped their body parts off with her sharp teeth, the bullets hitting her but not actually creating any damage. There was blood everywhere, she saw people watching her absolutely demolish those men.

She was a bloody mess.

But she loved it.

She loved the violence, she loved the taste of their blood, she loved their horrified screams, she loved the adrenaline when she tore their body parts apart. Limb by Limb. All of them dropping dead on the ground with blood all over their skin and missing body parts. There were bloody arms and legs on the ground surrounding the scene, it was a cruel, cruel sight to see.

Kaileena turned back to human after she finished her little massacre. She looked around her and smiled at her horrifying masterpiece. She missed this, she misses the feeling of killing. Yes, it was odd but how can you blame her? HYDRA damaged her, they absolutely broke her. Making her believe things that were false, telling her multiple lies that she pathetically believed.

That's what she was. Pathetic.

She looked down at her bloody body, blood was all over her clothes and skin. It wasn't her killer blood, it was the blood of a poor victim that was slaughtered by the Great Lady Tigress. Six victims' blood on her hands, literally.

She lifted her bloody hands and softly rubbed them together, feeling the warm red blood that would forever be imprinted on her dangerous hands. She didn't notice that she was frozen, admiring her bloody hands until someone called her name.

"Stark," Kaileena turned around to look at the person who called her precious last name. It was Rumlow, she looked at him with a blank face as he looked at her appearance. She watched as his expression went from neutral to terrified.

"What do you want? Do you want to be next?" Kaileena asked with a pointed tone while walking towards him. Rumlow took a step back as two guards stepped in between the two of them, Kaileena looked at the two guards then looked behind Rumlow to see Steve, Nat, and Sam cuffed by guards and taken away.

Before she could speak, she felt hands grab her wrists and pin them behind her, Kaileena did what any person would do and fought back. She turned around and kicked the guard who dared to touch her, she went to charge at him but was stopped, once again, by another voice.

"Elena, enough!"

Kaileena sharply turned around and looked at Steve who had a hurtful, and now terrified, expression. Steve gave her a look which meant 'enough of your bullshit, cooperate or we'll die'. Kaileena sighed and rolled her eyes, finally giving in.

A guard cuffed her wrists and two guards held onto each arm as they dragged her towards the car where Steve, Nat, and Sam were also going in.

         "𝓗e looked right at me like he didn't even know me," Steve blurted out while looking down. He was talking about the little moment he had with James, Steve was heartbroken when his old buddy didn't even remember him.

On his right, Kaileena Stark sat with her eyes focused on her still bloody hands. It was like she was obsessed with the blood-red, her favorite color was red but that wasn't the point.

She couldn't stop staring at her hands. The hands of a ruthless killer.

"How is that even possible? It was, like, 70 years ago." Sam spoke up from beside Nat, he was looking at a bloody Kaileena though. None of them knew what happened but it was obvious that she had to do some dirty work, Kaileena hasn't spoken up since she threatened Rumlow back in the scene.

All of them had terrified expressions when they first saw Kaileena, they couldn't understand how a sweet little broken girl could become a ruthless cold killer in a second. For Kaileena, it was like a switch flipped inside of her. Humanity switch, maybe?

"Zola. Bucky's whole unit was captured in '43. Zola experimented on him. Whatever he did helped Bucky survive the fall." Steve replied. "They must of found him and-"

"None of that's your fault, Steve." Nat cut him off.

Steve shook his head in denial, "Even when I had nothing, I had Bucky." Nat rested her head back, tired of Steve blaming himself for everything that happened to Bucky.

Sam tore his stare on Kaileena to Nat and noticed her shoulder bleeding, "We need to get a doctor here. If we don't put pressure on that wound, she's gonna bleed out here in the truck."

Kaileena's head snapped up when she heard the sound of electricity coming from a stick that produced electricity which is used to electrocute prisoners sounding, one of the guards that were in the car with them pointed it at Sam as a warning which made him shut up. Then the person flipped it to the guard beside them and electrocuted him then kicked him with their foot making the guard groan in pain and fall down unconscious.

The four of them looked at the guard who just effortlessly betrayed the other guy in curiosity. The guard removed their mask as a familiar female voice said, "Ah. That thing was squeezing my brain." Maria Hill said as she wiped a piece of her hair out of her face, Kaileena raised her eyebrows at her.

Maria looked at Sam, not knowing who he is before looking at Kaileena. She widened her eyes a bit at the Stark's appearance and said, "Who is this guy?"

"Sam Wilson," Kaileena's response shocked all of them, she hasn't spoken ever since she entered the vehicle, and the fact that she only decided to speak up now really surprised them.

Maria Hill slowly nodded and looked at the rest who still had shocked faces, Kaileena rolled her eyes at them. "Alright. Let's get out of here."

"Please."
