Realizing The Truth
Months went by, and New York has turned into a place full of chaos. Unspeakable crimes had became common and people of all sorts create their own little world.
Dr. Fielding sat down in his chair, he has a special mission to complete.
He also has a deep secret.
The woman who was declared "dead" never had her body decomposed, nothing fell out of place, which was odd.
But Xavier brushed it off, considering that it wasn't important
A man and a woman walk inside the room. Wearing nothing but silver.
"Oh the Giovanni twins!" Xavier pipes, with fake enthusiasm, he spins around in his chair.
"We're here for Lady Meurte's body." The woman says as more people walk inside.
"She's all yours." Xavier says while bowing, earning an eyeroll from the woman.
They take the tank.
"Her body probably smells bad...I advise that you keep her in the tank before tossing it into God knows where."
"I think this woman has already told us how much she loved the sea." The man says, patting the woman's tank.
"Be careful with the body." Xavier says before turning around.
"Look doc, she's already dead, what's the worse that can happen?"
Xavier's glasses glimmer in the full light.
"Keep in mind that she used to be a killing machine..." Xavier warned, only earning a few snickers as the tank gets removed off it's platform, they begin to carry the tank out of
"Who worked for the FBI." Xavier adds.
"Like she'll come back as a zombie." The woman mutters, chuckling to herself.
"If only, that would be fucking awesome." Her brother jokes.
As they left, Xavier pulls out his phone, dialing random numbers before putting it to his ear.
"It's done."
"Good, now for the woman's family, she has two lesbian aunts along with her younger sister, let's inform our other alliances about Lady Meurte shall we?"
"Let's begin."
--
The little girl sat down on the couch as both of her aunts sat in chairs in front of her. They were looking at the woman's will.
"Half of Dixon's income is twenty one thousand dollars plus interest, and she wants you two to look after Harmony Dixon."
The two women exchanged looks, they hold their hands. Their eyes glisten with tears.
"Yes. We love Harmony as if she's our own child." Jessie says.
"Very well." Ms. Briggs says, clearing her throat.
"The rest of the money is to be given to Harmony, for college and a better home." She reads out.
"That's right." Jessie chirps.
"Good good."
"That ends our little meet up, any questions or concerns, I'm only a phone call away." Ms. Briggs says, pushing up her glasses.
The small family gets up and leaves the room. Soon, they walk into the parking lot.
A bunch of vans surrounded their red
Chevy, Jessie narrows her eyes, pushing her glasses up to her face.
"Some fucking parking lot." The other Aunt mumbles.
"Be patient." Jessie sighs, grabbing the child's hand as the little girl's body shivers in the cold.
"Jessie?"
"Yes baby?"
"I'm scared."
Then it hit Jessie, there were cars surrounding them, she reaches for her emergency glock that the woman gave her just in case.
If you are going to kidnap someone, make sure she isn't related to the Dixon family.
"That's not necessary." A low voice from behind says. Before Jessie could take action, her arm was brought out in the air and forced behind her back.
Jessie had gasped as her arm gets twisted.
"We are the Silver Bronx, we'll need to take you in. You're all in danger."
"What? No." Jessie says, glaring at one of the men.
"We don't do mafias, you guys have done so much."
"And you kill people..."
"With all do respect Ms. Campbell, your niece was an atheist, she never believed that killing-"
"One more fucking word." Jessie snaps.
"Swear." The little girl says sweetly.
"Call us what you want be we would never hurt you in front of this little girl, that's not what we do." The speaker instructs Jessie, she stares at him quizzicaly, trying to figure out if he was lying.
Finally, she lowers her arms and steps away calmly, but kept her fingers locked tightly around the handle of her hidden gun.
"Now, if you can come with us, there is some things to discuss."
--
"Armrita! Mikey! Downstairs now!" Their father shouts from downstairs. The children look at each other before walking out into the hallway.
Armrita grabs Mikey's arm.
"Mikey....what if those men saw us?" Armrita asks grimly, her face hidden behind her beautiful blonde bangs.
"This again? They couldn't have."
"Even so..." Mikey says, he kneels in front of her.
"I'll protect you." He says.
"Mikey, those men are huge."
"Still, if I have to fight to the bitter end for you to come out alive, I will do it." Mikey says, squeezing her shoulder. She leans in and hugs him.
"This is worst than getting bullied." Armrita whispers.
"Why?"
"Our lives can be at risk." Armrita replied.
Armrita and Mikey had gotten bullied everywhere for having gay parents, teachers turned their backs on them.
"Armrita! Mikey! You have guests!" Their father shouts again.
"We should go!" Mikey says, patting her shoulder before running down the stairs.
As they walked down the stairs a bunch of men in blue uniforms turn to see them.
"Armrita and Michaelangelo." One cop mutters, their fathers turn their heads towards them.
"You know them?"
"We've had our history." The cop says vaguely.
"We've wanted to ask you about the gunshots that Friday."
"We were inside the breakfast diner when it happened." Mikey lied, squeezing his sister's hand in hopes for her to go along with it.
"Yeah, the waitress said that the rain was louder than the gunshots."
"You do know the victim do you?"
"Who?"
"The woman who also worked at the diner."
"You mean-" Armrita begun with wide eyes.
"Yes. The woman was Akhita Dixon."
