Once, a young woman named Endurance stayed home all day,
Working her body and soul away;
She would bake and smoothen the cake.
Even if the smile she wore were fake.

Years went by and Endurance, endured
Beatings from Abuse—her drunk husband who was unemployed.
She neighed while he whipped her like a donkey.
And woke up with black eyes every morning.

Once—Endurance was a worker but he asked her to stop
And like any other woman, she could cope.
She made Adam—her son, see only her smile while she wore a rag.
Till she finally became her husband's slave and punching bag.

It was no doubt, Endurance loved her family.
She would write up poems and stories about her dreams, fantasies and women's bravery.
Even if she cried daily,
Her writings gave solidarity.

A couple of years later,
Endurance's son—Adam married the prettiest spinster.
And he did the same,
What he saw his father doing.

Unfortunately, Eve wouldn't deceive.
She reported to the police and he got locked up.
A couple months went by and Adam got released.
One more night with Eve and she was deceased.

“What happened? How did she die?” people asked.
“When it was dad, no one asked him why.” he replied.
Now, Endurance's son was sentenced to death.
And all she had was regret.
Abuse died anyway,
Endurance lost her family all the way.

Eve: Wife... Symbolises women going through Abuse same that voiced out.
Endurance: Mother... She was endurance, that held the abuse.
Abuse: Father... Or other men of ignorance
Adam: Son... As the nature of man, they do what other does, just to feel superior even if it's right or not. But justice prevails.

Moral Lessons:

1. Nothing is hidden forever.
2. Eve broke the circle of Abuse by speaking up.
3. Don't suffer alone.
4. Endurance  means truth, not living a fake life of lies and pretense.
5. Correct your mistakes with your family.
6. Family is family, hide no secrets.
7. Don't copy others. Children learn faster. That's why education begins from early age.
8. What goes around, comes around.
9. Not every women are weak.
10. Action speaks louder than words—Death.
11. Your weakness is your greatest strengths and your greatest strengths is your weaknesses.
12. No man knows it all.
13. Charity begins at home.
14. What makes life worth living are the lessons, learnt.
15. Life is usually a train of journey, not a deserted one.
16. Living is like writing your own story, only you can decide what role to play and how it ends.
