Weekend at Beesands

Author's note: Look who's back! I'll be honest with you, this chapter was hard to make! I was stuck in the middle and didn't know what more to write, I traveled, I had some problems and it ended up taking so long that I thought no one would read anymore and quit it. But recently some people voted on this story and even left a couple comments and it made me so happy. You know, I love writing this and I don't really want to stop. (By the way I'm working in a new one, also about the stones!) I know I'm awful with keeping active. Even if my old readers can't stand me anymore I hope I can get some new ones! Hope you enjoy this long chapter - the longest so far.

Saturday, March 3rd 1962

-Please, Jane, please!

-I can't.

-Do you want me to get down on my knees again?

-Michael, stop. It won't happen, okay? There's no way my mom will let me go.

-Then you can create a story...

-No more lying. If she found out...

-Tell her the truth then! Beg her...

-Come on, do you really think my mom would let me go on a weekend-long trip with two boys? And specially when the two boys are you and Keith? And my father? What would I tell him?

-It won't be just us! Keith's parents are going too. They will be with us, isn't it good? Tell her about them.

-Yeah, but I don't think it will be enough.

-I'll tell Keith to call you. So your mom can talk to his. Does it help?

-Probably but I still think...

-He will call you. At eight o'clock. It will work.

-You really want me to go, don't you?

-Of course! It would be so good for us. Bigger than anything we've ever done. We will be a whole weekend together.

•••
-Mom?

-Hello, honey. - She looked at me while she kept washing the dishes - Did you have fun today?

-Sure... Is dad home?

-No... why?

-Well, I wanted to ask you something.

-Oh, God, what is it now that your dad can't know? Isn't it too much already?

-It's just that... Keith's mother invited me to go to Beesands with them.

-Them who?

-Keith, Michael, Mr Richards and her.

-Beesands? Not very close though. How will they do to come back in the same day?

-Uh... She invited me for the weekend.

-For the weekend?? No, Jane. Forget it.

-But mom...

-I said no.

-Just listen... I understand why you don't want to me to go. But it won't be long. And Keith's parents will be there the whole time!! It would be so fun!

-Your father would never understand.

-But I'm eighteen!

She kept looking at me, not saying a word. The phone rang. I looked at the clock. 8:05. Keith.

-I'll answer it. - I walked to the phone - Hello? Keith? - I said lowly.

-Hey. Is everything okay? Did you talk to your mom?

-I was just talking to her. I'm not sure but I think I started to convince her.

-Okay... Do you still want my mom to talk to her?

-Yes sure. Mom!! It's for you! It's Mrs Richards.

She got in and told me to leave the room. I stood behind the door listening to what she said.

-Hello? Hi, Doris. Yes, I'm fine, what about you? Nice. Yes, she told me about it. Hm yeah I was just talking to her...

They talked for a few minutes. I heard a "bye" and ran to the sofa, pretending I've been there the whole time.

-So? - I got up.

-Okay. You can go. - I ran and hugged her.

-Thank you, thank you so much. It's very important for me.

-But you'll do everything Mrs. Richards says. And of course be in a different bedroom, it wouldn't be decent.

-Okay, okay - I hugged her again - I won't be a problem. And what about dad?...

-I'll tell him you're going to spend the weekend in Beesands. But with that friend from college you told him about. But don't get used to these lies. You know I hate to do that to your father.

-I know, I know. I'm sorry for that. What made you change your mind so fast? Was it the eighteen thing...?

-Yes, you know... Sometimes I forget you're eighteen already. I can't control everything. You're not a little kid anymore. But I can't help myself from the worry you know? You're still my daughter.

-I know, mom. It's okay.

-But don't let this go to your head. It's not because you are eighteen that you will do everything you want. You know that as long as you live in this house...

-...I have to follow you and dad's rules. Yeah, I know.

Friday, March 9th 1962
(After college)

I got in the car and my mom took me to Keith's house.

-Good Afternoon! - Mrs Richards walked in our direction.

-Good Afternoon! Am I late?

-Not at all! You arrived on time. I was organizing the last things. Michael is already there, Jane!

I looked for them. They were leaning on the car and talking.

-Soooo... Your parents would NEVER let you go, right? - Michael joked.

-Shut up - I laughed and hugged him.

-You're welcome! - He messed my hair as he held me - If I hadn't insisted, you would stay the weekend at home!

-Okay, Michael, I admit. You're the reason I'm alive, I don't know what I would be without you - I said sarcastically and gave him a peck as I stepped back and hugged Keith - Thank you Keith! I'm so excited, it will be so fun!

-Hello, guys! - Mrs Richards said - Go put your bags in the car! I'll call Keith's father!

We did it and got in the car. Keith sat by the window, Michael by the other and I in the middle. He placed his hand on my knee and moved it softly.

Soon, Mr. and Mrs. Richards got in the car and the trip started.

In some point, "Please Mr. Postman" played on the radio. We three looked at each other and laughed as we sang it.

•••
We arrived there by the evening time. We took our bags out of the car and walked in the backyard.

The cottage they rented was quite big. Bigger that what I thought it would be.

-Wow, Keith! It's a nice place!

-She's right! - Michael agreed and looked at what Keith was carrying - Hey, you brought your guitar?

-What is it for? - I asked - Will we play and sing at the beach around a campfire or something?

-Yeah, if you want! But I was thinking on something bigger.

-What do you mean?

-I thought we could play at The Cricked Inn!

-Is it a pub?

-Yeah!

-Will they just let us play there...? - Michael asked.

-Sure! It's a small place, they don't usually have people to play. They will take us! And plus, we will do it for free, why would they reject us? We aren't that bad!

-This is so cool! Are we going tonight?

-Sure! Let's just leave our bags in the bedroom.

We walked to the stairs.

-Oh, I almost forgot - Keith told me when I was about to step the first degree - Jane, your bedroom is right there!

-She is staying downstairs alone? - Michael asked.

-It's just for sleeping... My parents room is here too...

-It's okay, really. Go to your bedroom.

I got in my room, left my bag on the floor and laid on the bed, looking at the ceiling.

I sat up, with my feet on the floor, in the side where my bag was. I opened it, took some stuff off - Toothbrush, underwear, pajamas - and got the hairbrush. I started to brush my hair, in front of the small oval mirror on the wall in front of my bed, above the dressing table.

I heard knockings on the door.

-Let's go, honey? - Michael's voice.

•••

When we arrived, Keith and Michael talked to a man in the corner, as Keith's parents and I got a table near the small empty stage, which had only a microphone.

They smiled and ran to the stage. We ordered some cokes and appetizers.

Michael tested the sound of the microphone as Keith took his guitar off of its case.

-Uh... Hello. I am Mick Jagger and my friend here is Keith Richards. We arrived today from Dartford to stay for the weekend and we are going to sing some songs for you. Hope you like it!

They sat in the border of the stage, that was higher than the floor.

-This one is called Blue Suede Shoes.

They clapped.

It wasn't their best performance and they only had an acoustic guitar and a voice. But it sounded really great, actually. A softer sound.

The orders arrived. They got some to eat and drink between one song and another.

They played a few more songs and told the 15-people-audience (including us 3 in the table) they would have to stop to eat.

-Hey, it was great!! - I said as I hugged them - They loved you!!

-Do you think so?

-Absolutely!!

We sat and ate our dinner. We arrived at the house very tired. We went right to our bedrooms to rest.

-Tomorrow we must wake up early - Keith said - We can go to the beach and enjoy the whole day.

-Sure! Good night - I said and gave Michael a peck - Love you.

-Love you too. Sleep well.

•••
I woke up with knocks on the door.

I slowly turned my head and looked to the clock on the wall on my left. 8:15.

I got up and opened the door.

-Good Morning, sleepy! - Mrs Richards said with a smile, as she mixed up something on a bowl - Go get dressed! The boys are on the table, I'm making pancakes.

-Okay... - I said, still tired.

I yawned and picked up something to wear - A floral dress and a bikini underneath.

I brushed my teeth and walked to the table. Michael and Keith were sitting, finishing to eat their pancakes.

-Good Morning... Have you eaten all the pancakes?

-Don't worry, I'm making more - Mrs Richards said laughing, as she mixed it in the bowl.

-Good morning, darling - Michael smiled.

I sat and in a few minutes mrs Richards placed a plate of pancakes on the table and also sat to eat. When we finished it, we went outside. The beach was right in front of the house.

We placed our towels in the sand and sat, watching the water.

-Isn't it beautiful? - I asked.

-Why don't you go swim? - Mrs Richards asked us.

-Sure - I said - Keith?

-No... I'm fine.

-Hm... Okay.

-I'm going with you - Michael smiled.

I took off my dress, showing up my bikini. Michael kissed my cheek and held my hand as we walked to the water.

-Ugh it's kinda cold...

-But the weather is fine! Come on! - He splashed some water on me.

-Oh no, not again, Michael!

-You better go walking or I'll continue...

-Okay, okay, I'm walking! - I started to walk to the deep, as he kept splashing  - Hey, I'm walking already, stop!

When there were only our shoulders above the water, he pushed my arms and started to kiss me.

His hands, underwater, started to hold my waist, and then press. They walked down my body, slowly and strongly until he arrived in my thigh, which he pressed a little stronger and pushed me closer. That was good.

After some minutes, we called Keith to come.

We stayed at the beach until lunch time. Mrs Richards made beef and baked potatoes.

After eating, we decided to play in the sand with an old ball we found. We drank some lemonade, talked and had a lot of fun.

About 5 PM, we got in the house to take our showers. I dressed a red skirt with a black top.

-You look so nice - Michael smiled and kissed my head, just before he put his arm around me, placing his hand on my left shoulder.

Mrs Richards was still making the dinner - Fish and chips with some salad - and we started to help her.

Keith suggested that we should take the food outside and eat in the backyard, as his parents ate together.

There was a small and adorable table with four chairs. We sat and ate under the moonlight. Michael was sitting in front of me and our feet were touching and making soft movements through each other's legs.

We got in the house and started to wash the dishes. When suddenly the lights go off. We're out of electricity.

-Keith, help me to get some candles! - his mother told him.

They got some and lit one to each of us so we could light our way as we placed the other candles around the house.

When we finished taking the candles to every room, Keith's parents went to bed and told us not to sleep too late.

We went to the garden and lied on the grass, looking at the stars.

-Guys, how are you at college? - Keith suddenly asked - I mean, are you enjoying it?

-Yeah - I said - It's kinda boring sometimes but not bad.

-I like mine - Keith said - I mean, it's great, you know. Arts. But... Honestly, I can't stand it anymore, I'm sick of studying. I can't wait to be in a real band and quit arts classes.

-Hey - Michael bumped his shoulder - we have a real band!

-You understood... I mean a band who makes money.

-Hm, yeah, I see. You know, I guess I won't leave mine. Playing in a band is awesome but I'm afraid it won't be successful you know.

-I don't give a shit about it. I'm only in college because it was the best thing to do. But when I finish it anyway all I want to do is play in a band. So why should I wait? You don't need to be graduated.

-True - I said - I wish I could do the same.

-You can - Michael sounded supportive - you'll be successful in whatever you choose to do in life, I'm sure!

-Eh... No, no. I wish I had you guys' talent.

-You would like to be a musician? - Keith asked - Why don't you give it a try?

-I'm shy... And as I just said, I'd need talent for that. Plus my parents would kill me if I'd leave my studies for such thing!

-Stop thinking about your parents... Think about you! What do you want? - Michael placed his elbows on the grass and looked at me, closer.

-I don't know, it's not that simple...

-Okay, so... I guess we should sleep.

-True. Get up, Keith. - I got up and gave him a hand to do the same.

We turned off the candles one by one and I opened my room's door.

-Good night, boys!

-Uh... Keith, could you go upstairs? I'll be right after you.

-Sure - he smiled and walked away.

-So - he kissed me - go to my bedroom in 30 minutes.

-Wait, what?

-Keith falls alsleep very quickly, it's okay.

-But I...

-Don't think too much. I'll be waiting for you.

-Michael I'm... - he interupted me for the third time with another kiss.

-30 minutes. Love you.

-I-I love you too...

I leaned upon my door as I closed it, my heart was beating fast.

What does he mean by inviting me to go to his bedroom? And saying Keith falls asleep quickly... Does he?.. Well... We're together for a good time now, I guess. Except for the time we spent apart, but yeah...

I looked at the oval mirror and tried to make my hair and clothes look better.

What am I doing? This is ridiculous.

I hope he doesn't have that in mind. This is no way for it to happen. Keith will be there, that's just too strange and so not special.

Even though we're out of light so there would probably be candles, what would make it look romantic... And the fact that we would have to do it hidden would make it more exciting, right?

I can't believe my thoughts. I definetely lost my mind. It won't happen.

30 minutes. Here I go.

-Mike? - I whispered as I opened the door, carrying a candle.

-Here, babe! - he whispered back.I looked around, it was all dark but my candle helped me to find him laying on a mattress on the floor.

He was shirtless and was covered from his bellybutton to his feet with a very thin blanket.

Oh lord, he does have that in mind.

I walked to him slowly, trying not to wake Keith, who was sweetly sleeping, and sat by Michael's side, nervous.

-I told you he sleeps quickly - he touched my thigh - You look strange. Are you alright, darling?

-Alright? Of course, why wouldn't I be? I was just afraid to wake mrs Richards, and now to wake Keith, that's all.

-It won't be a problem, honey. Relax. Lay down, leave that candle over there.

-Sure. Relax - I blew it off and placed it by the mattress's side as I lied by his side.

-You didn't think I...

-What? - I blushed - No way, Keith is here!

-I'm sorry if you were expecting it...

-There's nothing to be sorry for. I just found it a little weird that you invited me to come to your bed in the middle of the night and I find you here barely naked waiting for me.

-Barely naked? - he laughed - I'm wearing pajama shorts under this blanket, okay? I just took my shirt off. You can take your dress off too if you want...

-Sure. - I did it, staying only with my panties.

-I've been wanting to stay like this for such a long time - he whispered in my ear as he cuddled me. He moved his hands on my breasts and I felt goose bumps all over - do you like it?

-I certainly do - he smiled.

We stayed quiet for some seconds.

-Now I feel silly - I said.

-Hey, it's not silly. I'm sorry for giving you this idea, our first time won't be like this, okay?

-Okay.

-By the way... Did I hear it wrong or you called me Mike when you got in?

-Yeah, I might have - I laughed - I'm sorry, I know you don't like it anymore.

-No, no!! You can call me however you like. Plus I think it's cute that only you and my family calls me like that. If they do it so why not you? I mean, you're practically a part of it.

I gulped.

-I think this is the nicest thing you've ever said - I chuckled.

-There's more from where it came - he smiled and kissed me - Good night.

-Good night, have nice dreams.

-Oh, I will.

I woke up suddenly and looked around. The boys bedroom.

-Michael! Michael! - I shook him and spoke lowly, as Keith seemed to be still asleep.

-What...? Oh good morning, babe...

-Michael, what time is it?

-Isn't this cute, this is the first time we wake up together - he said sleepily.

-Yes it is, but I really need to know what time it is. I need to go downstairs before mrs Richards wakes up!

-Oh God, yes - Michael Looked at his watch that was near his shirt on a chair - Ah, thats good, It's 6. Go quick!

-Okay. Love you - I gave him a peck - thank you for the nice night!

I dressed up and ran downstairs. I was about to open the door of my bedroom when...

-Jane? What are you doing awake so early? Yesterday you were the last one to wake up... - She said standing in front of her bedroom's door.

-Eh... Good morning! I-I couldn't sleep because... because it was sort of a hot night...

-I see... But what were you doing?

-I went to... to the bathroom. I was just getting in my bedroom again.

-Oh, okay. Have you been awake for too long? I'll make some coffee.

-Not much, mrs Richards. I'll get changed now and then I can drink some with you, okay?

The day was nice. We went to the beach again, swam and walked around a little. We decided to fish and ended up catching some mackerels, which we decided to sell for sixpence each for whoever passed by.  We didn't sell much though...

We had lunch outside in a very small restaurant and went back to the house around 4 PM. We took our showers, changed our clothes, tided up everything in the house (and our bags).

Around 9:30, we stopped to eat something. We got back in the car but after one hour the car started to walk slower and suddenly it stops.

-What happened?? - I asked.

-Uh... I guess we have some problems - Mrs Richards says worried.

-Oh no, we'll arrive too much late...

-Calm down, Jane. - Keith said.

We arrived at my house at 2 AM or some more. I was so nervous as I rang the doorbell.

My mom showed up with an angry, disappointed face.

-The car's battery died! - Mrs Richards said.

-Don't worry, Doris. Thank you for the weekend, hope Jane didn't give you work.

-Not even a little. She's a nice girl.

-She is. Good night. Good night boys - they answered back.

She didn't yell at me, I know she understands it's not my fault. But I  also know she feels bad for lying to dad and that he wouldn't be happy that I arrived that late, what makes it worse. I understand that she's not very happy with all this.

-
I want to thank you all so much for still reading this story, cause writing it makes me so happy. I hope I have old readers here, but I also want to thank the new ones! Leave your comment please, I need to know if you all still want to read it lol!

Facts about this chapter:

•The trip to Beesands really happened. Mrs Richards tells a little about it, and how Mrs Jagger was worried for them being so late because the battery of the car died.

•They really played at a pub while they were there, called The Cricked Inn. In Keith's autobiography the name is not mentioned but I found it on wikipedia. It's known for being their first performance in public together.

• In the real story, there was no girl with them. Mrs Richards tells that Mick was complaining about the fact they wouldn't see girls the whole time there.

• She mentioned "The boys used to go out and catch mackerel right outside the front door. They used to sell them for sixpence each."

•She says they rented a house to spend a week during the summer, but I decided to make it now because in the summer they would already be with the stones and everything. Also I wanted to make this scene with Jane and Mick sleeping together, just cuddling, which couldn't happen in other situation. Also decided to make it only in a weekend because I wouldn't have more to write in the next days hahaha (and plus Jane's parents would never allow it) Look how long it is already!!

• Both the chapter photo (Beesands) and the Cricked Inn photo are from the real places.

Hope you like the sets in this chapter too💖
