      WHEN THE MOON IS FULL AND THE WAVES RIPPLE, do not enter the ocean. No matter how clear the water is, no matter how capable you think you are, the sea will never see you as one of their own. Lurking in the murky, unknown depths are cursed beauties such as Lindy Kersey, whose sole existence will bring even the strongest of sailors to their damnation. Man's fascination with the hidden secrets of the oceans has been recorded long before Lindy's time, and no one can fault boys such as Peter Parker for getting swept up among the waves. Under the tides and the seafoam is a connection that was meant to be severed, but no one, not even the sea, can tear apart the fickle bond created by two tragically stupid heroes who may be each other's demise.

      When they become the future faces for heroes, individuals meant to follow the influence of the Avengers, it's hard to believe that they're still just children. But then again no one really knows, not even each other. Finding solace in one another was never supposed to happen, but partnership bloomed on a foundation of fear, trust, and the belief that heroes still exist. Maybe if they had simply waved the white flag they could've both been spared of the horrors of the world, maybe trauma wouldn't have brushed their cold fingers against their beating hearts and take what little humanity they believed in.

      Saving the world, being the beacon of hope for people was never supposed to be fun. Through nightly watches and feeding off of their own shroud of invincibility, hope seemed to be a tangible object within their grasp. However, maintaining their own doubts of usefulness only doubles as adults continue their own agendas leaving the weight of the world and its fear to rest on the shoulders of two, inexperienced heroes with two very different backgrounds. Whatever it takes to be the heroes the world expects them to be, no sacrifice is too much to ask for.

      They'll lay it all down for one another. But Peter's fantasy of being a hero and being the one on top is shattered once he realizes who his partner is under the mask. Lindy Kersey, daughter birthed from the oceans, and his spitfire of a partner fits the mold of the world's much-needed savior perfectly. It doesn't help that she's also Lindy Kersey, the girl whose friends never ceased to remind Peter just how unlucky he is, and the girl he's been harboring a crush on for over a year.

      Make no mistake, Lindy Kersey will never find out his secret if he has anything to say about it.

      After all, even the most beautiful of waves is also the deadliest.

AUTHOR'S NOTE:

It is finally here! My brain has scrambled this plot for YEARS, but I've finally done it! So for those of you who don't know, Lindy is my former Peter Parker OC when Civil War first came out! I changed the faceclaim, name, backstory, and characters a bit since then, but I've finally come up with a suitable plot for Peter and I'm so incredibly proud of it!

I'm sure my summary makes no sense, but basically, after the events in Germany, Peter and Lindy are probationary heroes (under Tony of course) and they're partners! Peter knows who his partner is under the mask, but she doesn't know it's him under the Spider-Man mask which makes very suitable angst FOR ME!

I also wanna make it clear now that this book is going to be a duo POV book! I'm sure many of you are very used to my format of books where the POV's are mainly from my original character, but for the sole purpose of this book, I'm going to be writing in the POV of Peter (occasionally).

This is book one for my connected MARVEL series! I don't think it's going to be a very long series, but at the moment I only have a plot for Peter, Steve (I'm changing the damn Endgame ending), and Bucky! You don't have to read all of them as they're not really that connected, but the characters in each book are mentioned throughout!

I'd like to shout out some very special people who kind of motivated and pushed me to write this! So big thank you to Rika, Kim, Liv, El, Ainsley, Julia, and Ash!
