Adrien had done a lot of things that he was proud of. He had won countless fencing competitions, he had made plenty of friends at school, he had even managed to learn the piano! Not to mention saving Paris on a near-daily basis. However, there was one achievement that soared far above the rest. One achievement that he wore as a badge of honor.

He was president of the Ladybug fan club.

It had been a nerve wracking election. He and Alya had been neck and neck, every vote counted. He had proved that he knew more about Ladybug, but Alya had the Ladyblog on her side. Being the first to ever report Ladybug and Chat Noir's existence was no small feat.

It had been the most stressful election of his life. He was sweating bullets, curling and uncurling his fists as each vote came in. They had found a program that counted votes and then revealed the results in real time. They had set up the projection on the chalkboard in Mme. Bustier's class. At first, Adrien was delighted by the prospect of the votes coming in live. Watching them, though, he felt all excitement being replaced with anxiety.

Alya had been in the lead by two when the last vote came in. Even if it was for Adrien, it didn't matter, he had already lost. He had just extended his hand to Alya, surrendering the position of vice president when something miraculous happened.

The system had been slow, delaying the last two votes. Adrien watched, eyes growing wide as he was suddenly tied with Alya. With bated breath, he watched as the number next to his name went up by one.

"Yes!" He cheered, it was over he had won.

"Goddammit, Agreste." Alya swore, but he knew she wasn't actually mad. "Here I thought I had president in the bag! Where the hell did you get all of your information about Ladybug?" Alya grabbed the collar of his overcoat, an unhinged look in her eyes. Adrien gulped, maybe she was actually mad at him. "Please, I've gotta know!"

'From Ladybug herself?' He thought wryly. Alya might run the Ladyblog, but he was her partner. No amount of articles could change that.

"That's for me to know and you to wonder." He winked, tapping his finger to his forehead.

"Fine. I guess V.P. is good for now."

"I thought you were going to win, for sure, too. For what it's worth." Adrien confided in her.

"Yeah, yeah." Alya shook it off, rolling her eyes. "Now come on, Pres, what brilliant ideas do you have for the club?" She asked him, a grin on her face and a sparkle in her eyes. She pulled out her phone, most likely to document any and all ideas he had.

Adrien beamed and turned to address the other members. Some had bright smiles on their faces, others were scowling.

"Well, here's what I was thinking...."

And thus, the Ladybug fan club was born, with Adrien landing himself in the top seat.

It was hard to think it had only been earlier that morning. Maybe he was only riding the high of adrenaline, but he had been beaming all day. Even Kagami had noticed at their fencing lesson. Between him winning the elections and getting to spend lunch with Marinette at the bakery, he wanted savor every second of the day.

The only thing that could possibly make his day even better would be seeing Ladybug. Unfortunately, they didn't have patrol tonight. It was a shame, in Adrien's eyes, but he knew that Ladybug didn't have every night to spend with him. He definitely wasn't jealous about whatever was taking up her time, what were you talking about?

Adrien sighed, rolling over in bed. He really was a hopeless case.

"Oh god, what is it this time?" Plagg flew over to him, landing on top of his head.

"Nothing, Plagg. Today was just a really good day."

"Nu-uh, that's not it. That was your 'I'm in love with Ladybug' sigh."

"I do not have a 'I'm in with Ladybug' sigh!" Adrien screeched, sitting straight up in bed. He knew his face was flushed, and he hated himself for it.

"Uh-huh, totally." Plagg gave him a skeptic look, crossing his tiny arms.

"Alright, fine. I just really miss her, okay? I want to share every bit of my day with her."

"Especially becoming president of her fan club." Plagg snickered.

"Hey! That is a p-proud achievement! No matter what you say." Adrien sputtered.

"Whatever helps you sleep at night, lover boy." Plagg cackled, obviously enjoying Adrien's misery.

"Oh just shut up." He muttered, falling face first into his pillow.

A knock on his window interrupted Plagg's laughter. Adrien shot straight up out of bed. There was no way, no possible way that it was actually her! That would be too crazy to believe. He had just been wishing Ladybug was here and then poof! She appeared? And he thought that the cat miraculous brought him bad luck.

He rushed over to the window to let the red and black angel in. She stepped into his room, bathed in the sunlight. Adrien felt his breath escape him as she gave him a coy smile. He was a goner, an utter and complete goner.

"L-Ladybug? What are you doing here?" He gulped, his mind running rampant with wild fantasies.

Sure, he and Ladybug had interacted before. She had saved him from many fangirl akumas, and he had been able to be there to help her when Chat Noir had mysteriously "gone missing." But he didn't consider himself anywhere near close enough for Ladybug to randomly show up at his window!

"A little birdy told me something important happened today." She hummed, stepping closer to him. There was an expression in her eyes that made Adrien's heart stop and start again at twice the speed.

"O-oh? And what was that?" He choked, hating how his voice cracked.

"Well, apparently Francois Dupont now has a Ladybug fanclub." She batted her eyelashes at Adrien, her smile on her face growing wider as his brain went and died on him.

She knew about the fanclub? She probably knew he was president! Oh God, Adrien was going to die.

"Y-yes?"

"And a certain someone became president today..." Ladybug gave him a smirk. Adrien was sure she had already killed him, because certainly this was Heaven. Where else would Ladybug seemingly be flirting with him?

"Uh, well, buh." Adrien wanted to kick himself. He flirted with her all the time when he was Chat Noir! Why couldn't he get a single coherent word out when he was a civilian? It just wasn't fair.

"Yes?" Ladybug giggled.

"Me president. I mean! I president, no wait, that's not proper grammar either. I'm president, yeah." Adrien stumbled, hating every moment. Ladybug stood before him, a smug grin on her face. She was obviously enjoying his torture, but why? His lady was cruel, oh so cruel.

"And apparently, your competition was the Alya Cesaire. Owner of the Ladyblog? First one to ever report me and Chat Noir?" She tapped her index finger to her chin. "One can't help but wonder how you won."

"What can I say? I guess I just have terrific luck. Maybe you were smiling in my favor this morning." He winked, and patted himself on the back for actually saying something coherent. Look at that! He did in fact, have a brain.

"Maybe I was. I suppose you will never know." Ladybug gave him a playful shrug, "Unless, you just ask."

"W-what?"

"I love Alya to death, don't get me wrong. She's an avid reporter, and I know I can trust her. Even if she can get a bit close to akuma attacks sometimes. But, I have to admit," Ladybug stalked closer to him. Adrien choked down the desire to kiss her. She wasn't his, he wasn't Chat Noir. She wasn't his, he wasn't Chat Noir. She wasn't his, he wasn't Chat Noir. "I was rooting for you." She whispered into his ear.

"You were?" Adrien squeaked, his face burning. The inside of his stomach was turning with every exhale Ladybug breathed.

"Of course I was. You're my favorite, after all." She nearly purred.

Yep, that confirmed it, he was dead. This was Heaven. Or maybe he was dreaming. He had been exhausted after school was over. There was no way this was real. No way that Ladybug was actually flirting with him.

"H-how?" Adrien whispered. He might be madly in love with her, and his brain might've only been working at 25% power, but he was still coherent. He wasn't Chat Noir right now. Ladybug barely knew him. It was an unfortunate fact of life. A fact that when he told her, she just laughed. It was the sound of sunshine.

"Superheroes can still have favorite civilians, silly."

"And I'm yours?" Adrien repeated, holding his breath. When Ladybug nodded, a delightful blush on her cheeks, Adrien resisted the urge to cheer.

"In fact, if I was a member of your fan club, I bet I'd be president." She bragged, leaning into his neck. Adrien's arms automatically went around her. Normally, he would be scolding himself for being so bold, but Ladybug didn't seem to mind it. In fact, if the way she leaned into him was any indication, she quite enjoyed it.

"Oh really?" Adrien leaned down, close enough that he could see every freckle on her face. He didn't even know she had freckles before, he thought giddily.

"Really." She whispered, craning her neck towards him.

Was this seriously about to happen? Was he actually going to kiss Ladybug? What even was reality?

He was drowning in an ocean of blue. Her eyes, her hair, her perfume, the dangerous smile dancing across her lips. It was so much of Ladybug, so much of the woman he loved. And God did he love her. He wanted this so badly. Wanted to be able to hold her in his arms and kiss her. Able to take her out to fancy restaurants and cuddle on top of rooftops. He wanted it all.

If he hadn't been so caught up in her, maybe he would've thought twice about what was happening. Was Adrien just another celebrity crush? Was he the other boy? What would happen if she were to learn his identity?

But the light in her eyes kept him away from those thoughts. They would come much later. Right now, his heart was beating too loudly for him to think about anything else.

"So if I'm president of your fan club, and you're president of mine, what do you think we should do about that?" Adrien hummed, his voice low.

"Oh, I don't know," Ladybug leaned in closer, so he could feel every breath she made. "It seems like a shame if the president of the Ladybug fan club hasn't even gone out with Ladybug." Her voice suddenly turned shy, and she glanced away from him.

Adrien was going to have a heart attack.

Was she saying what he thought he was saying? What he so desperately hoped she was saying? After everything that had happened between them, after night after night of him pinning away, was this really happening? All of his dreams were coming true.

"And it seems silly if the president of Adrien's fan club hasn't taken him out on a date yet." He turned her face back towards him, training his gaze on her. He was too pleased with himself at seeing her gulp.

She was nervous, all because of him! She was flustered, because of what he had told her! He thought this day would never come, but here it was. Standing right there in his arms were all his hopes and dreams.

"W-well, maybe we should f-fix that." She stuttered, her voice an octave higher than usual. Adrien had to hold back a laugh. A bright blush settled on her face, her eyes were wide with apprehension. She looked far too cute like that.

"Maybe we should." He rasped. "What do you think about that?"

"I think maybe the president of the Ladybug fan club should maybe take her out first." She croaked. "After all, he became president first."

'CODE RED! CODE RED EVERYONE! This is not a drill, please remain calm!' Adrien did not, in fact, stay calm. In fact, he was on the verge of panic. He needed to do something and do it fast. There was no way that he was going to risk this.

"And after that, maybe the president of Adrien's fan club needs to take him out. Don't you think?" He gave an innocent smile, but his eyes seemed to gaze straight through her.

"I-I'm not the actual president you know." Ladybug muttered, averting her eyesight.

"You could be. I'll help you win. I can see the headlines right now: 'Adrien on date with president of his fanclub!'" He unraveled an arm from her to put his hand in the air, imagining a fake headline.

"I think there's a headline I like better." Ladybug whispered, Adrien could barely hear her.

"Oh? And what would that be?" He titled his head to the side, unaware of the screaming inside Ladybug's mind.

"'Ladybug and Adrien Agreste: Paris' Hottest New Celebrity Couple.'" Ladybug whispered. Adrien could hardly process her words before his lips were on hers.

He crashed into her, and he felt her stiffen before kissing back. Her hands came around his neck as she pulled him closer. He was kissing Ladybug and she was kissing him! Everything was hot and cold, all at once. He was flying, he was falling. He only hoped that she would be there to catch him when he hit the ground. He knew that she would, she always did. It was warm and soft, and she tasted like strawberries. Adrien wondered if it was the chapstick she wore, or if she had something strawberry before she visited. His heart sped up at the thought of her putting on chapstick, just for him.

They broke apart, gasping. At Ladybug's dumbfounded look, it hit Adrien what he had done like a sack of bricks.

"Oh my gosh, I am so, so, so, sorry. I just kissed you without asking you, that's a total jerk thing to do. I'm sorry, really. I don't know what's gotten into me. I thought you were flirting, but that doesn't mean I can just go and kiss you like that. I'm so, so, sorry, what can I-."

"Adrien?" Ladybug's voice interrupted his ramblings. She lifted a hand up to his cheek, stroking it softly. She... certainly didn't sound mad.

"Y-yes, Ladybug?" Adrien pushed down the urge to apologize again.

"Shut up." She whispered, grabbing his collar.

"Wha-mph!"

It was her turn to kiss him silly, he supposed. And kiss him silly, she did. She pulled him even closer, deepening the kiss. Adrien's arms floundered around before they finally wrapped around her waist. She was so close, her perfume was all he could smell, her chapstick was all he could taste, the look on her face was all he could think about. He was no longer drowning in an ocean of blue. No, instead he was drowning in an ocean of her. Her, her, her.

"Do not apologize." Ladybug said shakily as they broke apart again. "I was flirting with you, and you can kiss me whenever you'd like."

"Really?" Adrien whispered, taking a hand and placing it on her cheek. She leaned into him, closing her eyes. God, she was too cute.

"Really."

"I'd like that a lot, Ladybug." He leaned down, placing his forehead on hers.

"I'd like that a lot, too, A-Adrien." His heart leapt as she whispered his name. So softly, as if it was something she was scared to break. She could never break him, ever. He loved her too much for that to happen.

"But, you know, one of us still owes the other that date." Adrien wiggled his eyebrows at her. To his utter joy, she giggled.

"Yeah, I guess so."

"So, who's going to take the other out first?"

"Well, I suppose it's whoever asks the other out first." Ladybug winked.

"Oh, really? Well, in that case do you-?"

"Do you wanna go out with me?" Ladybug interrupted, a gleeful smile on her face.

"Come on! That's totally cheating." Adrien groaned. "Doesn't count. I asked first."

"Uh, it totally counts! You didn't even finish your question. You could've asked me if I sing for that matter."

"Well, do you?"

"No!" Ladybug threw her hands up in astonishment.

"Okay, okay." Adrien chuckled, holding his hands up in surrender.

"Do you not want me to take you out? Because I can easily revoke my asking you out?"

"No! Not at all! No takesy backsies!" Adrien grabbed her, spinning her around in his arms.

"Adrien! Put me down!" Ladybug squealed, laughing.

"If I must." He sighed, letting her back to his bedroom floor.

"And you never actually accepted my offer." Ladybug reminded him, the blush coming back to her cheeks.

"Oh? And just what was that offer? I need you to jog my memory." Adrien blinked innocently.

"Adrien Agreste, would you do me the honor of going out with me?" Ladybug asked, grinning.

"Believe me, Ladybug," he picked up her hand and placed a kiss on it. "The honor would be all mine."

"I'll pick you up at 19:30 on Friday night, don't be late." She slowly got out of his embrace, walking back to the window.

"I'll be counting down the minutes until I see you next." Adrien bowed.

"And I, you." Ladybug curtsied, the setting sun making her glow.

"God, you really are beautiful." He breathed before he could stop himself.

"You really think so?" Ladybug looked down at her feet, her cheeks tinged pink.

"Always." Adrien placed a light kiss on her forehead.

"I wish I could stay longer, but I'm afraid my parents will be looking for me soon." Ladybug sighed, preparing her yo-yo to swing out of his open window.

"Friday, then?" Adrien asked, offering her his hand to help her stand on the glass.

"Friday." She nodded, and, if on impulse, laid a quick peck on his cheek. "19:30."

He nodded in agreement, too shocked to speak. Even if they had kissed twice earlier this afternoon, he still couldn't believe what was happening to him. She giggled, and swung off.

He could've sworn she let out a gleeful shout, but he could've been imagining things.

Adrien put a finger to his lips, falling back against the couch. Before he could stop it, a ridiculous smile grew over his face. Plagg came out of hiding, groaning at the sight. Adrien didn't care, his kwami could complain all he wanted. Adrien was in love, and he was going out with Ladybug, Ladybug!

He had never been happier for a Ladybug fan club in his life. Although, it was no longer his proudest achievement. No, that honor went to finally kissing Ladybug. After months of wanting, waiting, pining, falling, he had done it.

Adrien let his head fall back, a laugh escaping from his lips.

He had done it. He had finally gotten the girl.
